Meaning of Tobi

this topic is all based on what i know from the japanese language and the naruto shippuden anime.but you should know that i've just started learnig japanese and that i don't realy read the manga. that's why i've made this topic to use other peoples knowledge of naruto and japanese.
i was thinking about who TOBI really IS. and while i was watching the anime (naruto shippuden episode 99)there was a gag where tobi said "ichibi, nibi, boku wa tobi"
i just learned the number and know that they usally use the sinojapanese numbers to count the tails of a bijuu, eg. ICHIbi NIbi SANbi untill KYUbi
and what comes after 9?... 10 which is ju in the sino japanese #'s
but in the traditional japanese it is "TO" (with streching the o)
so tobi would bascily mean 10 tailed, and this would say that maybe madra callled himself tobi to show that he is stronger or the strongest of the bijuus
but i dont acctually think he is madara , i belive that he is danzo

now tell me what do you people out there think? could this be true?

im also learning japanese so congrats for you.i believe that tobi is madara.its a very good and possible,i believe that is a way of signifying that.the only issue i have is that it was filler arc when it was mentioned.if it was in the manga then you might have been on to something.

i now know 620 kanji and am preparing to take the JLPT japanese language proficiency test.despite how simple their counting system is i dont like counting past 10,000.its easy to learn but difficult ot master.i have a kanji book and a grammar and particle book.i just ordered the Rosetta Stone software(i had the demo its great,they'll send you a free one in the mail) but i've never heard of sinojapanese numbers ? eveything i google is referenced to a war.hey do you have an IME on your pc ?

and after knowing that danzo got hokage i start beliving that madara is hiding himself as tobi and that tobi and danzo are the same person

I've realized one definite thing, Tobi must be a living Uchiha. He can't be anyone that isn't from that bloodline, because everyone else that has stolen or been given a Sharingan has it activated all the time and needs to keep it covered, or else they get exhausted quickly.

Having Tobi be Madra is too simple, but that seems the most straight forward. I still hang onto the idea that Tobi is Obito because I like the poetic nature of it. Wouldn't it be nuts if Tobito knew what he was doing, since he can "see the future" as he said when Kakashi took his eye, and he is actually doing something good in the long run... crazy I know, but I have to say it. It kindof fits because it mirrors Itachi, and how Itachi stayed uninvolved unless he had to to achieve his goals.

The Uchiha are notorious for illusions and changing perceptions, but we also see them as being malicious and vengeful. It is more likely that Tobi is Madra, but that's just as cliche as Danzo having a Sharingan.

Gotta give you props Aoi Nara for figuring out the TO-BI meaning 10-tails. Makes me want to learn Japanese... if only I had time .
