  Siskin: i’m not saying search them out……i know alot of women who love naruto. they are just on other sites. i was saying that i think (and you, or LadyP and Nef can correct me if i’m wrong) that it would be nice to have a balance site. i’m not saying a dating service, i just dont buy the whole “girls dont watch Naruto” bull that i keep hearing. i just want balance, that is all.

  women do not have the natural steroid that men have and will never be built like men. They do live in a disadvantage in that way but also in many other ways. These other ways are social constructs that bind women in a sealing jutsu to their destiny of what is thought of being womanly. Such as men are bound to what it means to be a man. To deny that it exists denies them of their experience like when Sakura was making judgements of Naruto in the beginning of the anime and little did she know Sasuke was in the same boat.

  I think the point Siskin and Itachi are trying to make is that sometimes things are different than we assume. aka: there’s probably a bunch of girls that have guy avitars and don’t feel the need to tell you that they are girls because that isn’t part of the image/avatar they want to create from themself.

  Don’t try digging up the truth of the real world because all we have on the internet is the image we want people to precieve us as.

  It’s very much like the Shinobi world in that way.

  And you know you can upload your picture … you just have to have it saved on your computer to upload it to google.

  Also, you can change your information after you write it… let’s say you moved or whatever as long as you’re on the same computer because then google must recognize your IP address or something.

  It would also be cool if there was a lot less people from nowhere Kansas. If you find your way back here it would be nice if you fixed it.

  And you can put yourself on the map without joining anything… kinda like commenting.

  Sharigan Leader I had trouble as well. Where i lived was correct and everything like that but the avatar I wanted use didn’t. It took me some time to figure out that the map won’t show animated avatars. I just sent a unanimated one. I hope this helps you out.

  And yeah, Naruto is very much about overcoming difficulties such as Naruto’s ADHD. But the privilege and power of being a male shows through in Naruto because of the overwhelming number of male Shinobi.

  “Destiny” was used as a word to be dramatic. It’s true other’s thoughts affect you. This can be seen in Kishimoto’s change in Naruto after everyone hated him and then they started accepting him and also Gaara’s behavior. They were affected by other people. Human beings are innately social creatures so it is only natural for us to be affected by other human beings. People have written numerous books on this stuff. A good book about it (if Bob doesn’t mind me recomending) is “‘Why are all the black kids sitting together in the cafeteria?’: And other conversations about Race” by Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum.

  i guess i will just agree to disagree. obviously both of us are very strong in our opinions, so its totally fine. you will always have those who oppose your logic, and i guess i’m your guy. but i fully understand your point of view, and respect you fully for providing the information necessary to prove your point. However i feel that women, in general, are much stronger than men:
  1. Humanity starts from the womb of a woman
  2. No one can multi-task like a woman can
  3. Its hard for men to live without women (trust me i know), but women can raise 5 kids, work, and still have time to have fun without a man (its been proven)
  4. In history, women have been the cause of war (Helen of Troy) and also actually CAUSED the war (Cleopatra)
  5. Women are smarter than men. THERE I SAID IT!!! (i beat you that LadyP and Nef would just love this…..)

  but yeah. there is my reasoning. those are the things that prove (at least to me) that women would have to be proud. I understand the social binds that the world has given to them are totally Bogus. But it is our best intrest, as the next generation, to correct the mistakes of the past and NOT to abide by them. but hey, that’s just me.

  I did color a few pictures other people drew using photoshop. But my pictures I coppied from deviant art and then down sized them. I did a search for Tobi and Kakashi and that’s the picture I found. Thre are some really great artist on there.
