Asuma is fatally wounded and the rest of his team are helpless to stop it. Ino and Choji’s team arrive as reinforcements to save Shikamaru and the others. Hidan and Kakuzu are about to engage them when a telepathic call from the Akatsuki leader calls them to return because they are needed to seal the Two-Tails beast demon. Before they leave, Hidan assures the Konoha ninja that they will be back to finish what they started.
Asuma is injured in four vital organs and Ino is in tears because there is nothing she can do to save him now. Asuma gives his last advise as sensei to each of Ino, Choji and Shikamaru. He then asks for a last cigarette before passing away.

This episode made me so sad. It was the sadest anime moment. I dont wanna see Jiraya die like that.
The Konoha ninja copied one of Itachis jutsus
But its a little bit simple, he interrupt the fight with crows.
man this is so sad! I feel like our time with Jaryai is getting shorter and shorter. but atleast that is still a long way’s off. man I hope that we will get to see shika and the rest kick some ass next week cause right now it feels like nothing is going right.

I want to know who the king is.
I think that Asuma told him this and that Kuranei is pregnant and Shika have to take care of their both.
As Bob already said, the king can be the next generation.
As Asuma said, Shika has the potential to be hokage. But he have to work on his stamina same as Kakashi and the third candidate is Naruto.
I see only this 3 have the potential to be the next hokage.
i couldnt help but kinda chukle at the fact that when the cigarette fell i thought it was gonna end up on gasoline like in movies and for some reason asuma’s body is blew to smithereens, and if i wer in shika’s shoes ” id be like ino do wat u can “asuma shut up imma try and save u ” fast pace to hospital , cas he was smokin for pretty long while… he must of had aliot of time left…. goodness get up and go .. if asuma has sometin to say say it while they wer gettin to the hospital… in anycase
im sad hes gone got me thinkin of my loved ones that passed away.. and how shika maru is gonna f*** them all up when he gets bak

First time that we saw Pein, on the one side I want to see the awesome fight Pein vs Jiraya on the other side I dont wanna see Jiraya die.

We know from the manga that Shikamaru did get revenge from Asuma’s death using his brilliant mind and Kakashi’s help.
Its rather anti-climactic that the anime is soo late than the manga…
rest in peace asuma sarutobi, this was a even sadder event fo rme than the 3rd passing, but soon for shika to kick some akatsuki butt and we finally get to see naruto’s rasen shuriken
well the sad episod hase pased now for some kick ass revenge… pain lock like an android to me wel we wil see him soon and one more thing asuma told shikamaru that he has a son with kurenai an that he must take care of him as far es i remember
Why Kakuzu wondered about the black sword, it cant be the same as Pein, so why he was surprised.
Cant wait for the next few episodes for Kakashi/Shika to kick some @ss. And Naruto’s new jutsu, cant wait…
Btw W.S And Ultimatehokage. hehe i knew i would become Jonin but it took quite a while to jump from Examiner to Jonin. And now im looking forward to see how long its gonna take from Jonin to Jounin Elite, and wats after that? xP LOL soon Bob gotta retire from his position and somone gotta take it
I Should make an Ode to poor Asuma…he was expecting this tragic death from the beginning i guess the Sarutobis whined down to the just lil Konohamaru and i guess some more unheard family members but oh well.
No!!!!!! Why Asum, he was the coolest jounin to me!!! WHYYYYYYYYY!
