Naruto Shippuuden Episode 75: The Old Monk’s Prayer

The Twenty Platoons search all over Konoha, but cannot locate Hidan and Kakuzu. Meanwhile the two Akatsuki members are heading for a meeting point to collect the bounty of Chiriku’s body. Asuma and his team arrive at the Fire Temple and learn that Chiriku’s body is unaccounted for. They send the news to the other teams in the area and head towards the closest bounty exchange location.
Naruto takes a break from his intense training to head to Ichiraku Ramen with Kakashi and Yamato. Unfortunately, Ayame has convinced his father to exclusively serve tsukemen, which is a dipping ramen that serves the noodles and soup separately. Naruto gets a heated debate with Ayame on it but ends up eating three bowls. After Naruto had his fill, Kakashi takes him back to training grounds to show him soemthing ‘cool.’ Naruto watches in disbelief as Kakashi forms the Rasengan in his hand.

The scene where Naruto want ramen….very funny.
And Kakashi you realy clever, at the training the most work was on Yamato and Naruto and he read his book and than he let Yamato pay the bills.
Now the question, is Kakashi realy clever or such an ass
Now that Kakashi can use rasengan, he should be use it instead of chidori, because he can use it more than 3 times before he get overpowered and at the first fight beetween sasuke and naruto on the rooftop, we see if the chidori and rasengan on the same level, rasengan left more damage on tank than chidori.
That last little bit at the end of the episode was priceless..
Shikamaru (looking at script) : “But uh… you don’t do jack in a long time”
Naruto: “What the Hell…”,
(cries) “I need more screen time, please!”
Sorry Naruto, but Kishi gave you the shaft for this part of the story
Now its time for Asuma shippuden, than comes Shikamaru shippuden and than a long passage Sasuke shippuden.
Cant wait to see Sasukes part and the movie.
But I´m afraid that both need more than beetween one and a half year
I vote for more screen time for Itachi.

This episode gave me goosebumps especially the parts where the old monk is praying for Asuma’s team, and Asuma reminiscing his friendship with Chiriku. Darn his time is near. Death sched: Oct. 2.
Funny filler scenes… and Ayame makes another appearance in the anime. Didn’t think that this girl could be overbearing when it comes to cooking tsukemen. Sai finally got some color in him, after taking a bite out of Sakura’s soldier pills. LOL
Can’t wait to see the next part of Naruto’s training.

In one scene Asuma said that on his head the bounty is 5 million higher than the monk. How can it be, the monk was defeated by two Akatsuki members, Asuma fights only against Hidan with his team. That shows me that the monk was way stronger.
this episode was really entertaining and what’s with the low rating? In this episode thier was alot of funny scenes like hidan and kukuzu arguing, naruto argue with the old ramen place, and the shika shipp thing *laugh*
What I don’t understand is why didn’t Kakashi teach Naruto Rasengan but he taught Sasuke the Chidori! I think he was showing favoritism toward his students, he liked Sasuke more! I’m glad Jiraiya taught him because if he didn’t Kakashi would have! It seems the only reason Kakashi is training Naruto now is because Sasuke is gone! Just playing but I’m still like Kakashi! LOL.

The end was hilarious.
But now seriously…Naruto really need more screen time. From now on he will be in main focus only in his fight against Kakuzu…rest is pretty much Sasuke Shippuuden with only two exception (Asuma and Shikamaru part’s).
Is it me or these guys(P. studio) actually done something on their own. In manga Ayame was absent and there was two clumsy guys. Are they improving?

This episode was good but it was to much chit-chat the talked TOOOOO much, but naruto got his “ramen” in the end:lol: I’m looking forwARD to the next episode that realeses 09-25 1 hour special. I think naruto is going to learn the new jutsu in 6-7 episodes

LOL it was kinda lame chapter in my opinion. I was waiting for Asuma’s fight but they wasted all the time in the Ramen shops. Poor Naruto.

@ yellowflash: The only reason Kakashi knows Rasegan is because of his sharingan. I think he only learned it rasengan from seeing naruto do it: Copy Ninja Kakashi init! I think is this chapter was cool, I liked the ominous feel of it because for those of us who follow the manga as well, we know that it heralds the death of Asuma. Even the whole Asuma Shippuuden leading to Shikamaru Shippuuden is quite sad because we all know why!

great i have two until the next episode and naruto is going to be piss off again when in the sasuke revenge arc/season he is going have less screen time even though he is the main character.
If you read the manga, Kakashi learned the Rasengan from Minato (his sensei). Th ereason he doesn’t use it is two fold. One – I guess he feels that chidori is better because it is a complete technique and plus it is his signature move. Two – Rasengan isn’t complete. It doesn’t have any nature chakra yet. Thus Naruto’s goal of the training.
Though technically the Rasengan still isn’t complete (he isn’t allowed to use it because it screws up his chakra network) I think the shuriken rasengan is pretty awesome.

WhiteFangofkonaha, i think your right about that, i think the good graphics just killed the manga in my opinion. Atlease the graphics is improving and not using shiiity graphics like at the beginning of the shippuden series and even the fight with team kakashi and sasuke, the graphics they use for that episode was so lame and cheap and i was acually really happy they are starting to use better anime graphics for the hidan and kukuzu arc…

i don’t know why Naruto was suprised that Kakashi could use Rasengan if he can use Chidori he can most likely use Rasengan since it is considered an incomplete jutsu. i think ur avatar is cool too NSS7

That eposide was a tiny filler but funny.
But now its over, only main eposide which brings the story forward. First team Asuma fights, than Team Kakashi, Deidera and finaly Itachi.
Hope all this without any fillers.

The rasengan can not be copied with the sharingan because it has no hand signs and also i think it is stated that minato taught jiriaya and kakashi his rasengan. Also i think kakashi knew that eventually jiriaya would come back to train naruto and he was going to train sasuke.
I agree with you that Kakashi didnt copie the rasengan with his sharingan, but I dont think that he got this from Minota.
That was one great show. Great job on the post. Fantastic. But the thing is why did it have to be japanese?
hahaha…so funny epis0de…well, it seems azuma’s shippuden in this next epis0de..and unwaited battle tactic of shikamaru…that be called shikamaru shippuden…anywayz, i think also naruto has a very big part on this coming next episode when he finally complete his training..with the results of rasen shuriken…hmmm…but i want more manga than anime…^^

This episode had less filler than the others but at least the filler in this one was about the Manga and more to made up for missing scene which i really loved! <3
This and next week it comes to an double episode…yeahhhh
