Insanity Tournament: Round 1, Match 2: Naruto vs Luffy!

Gatherer: “The two of you do know that I said the battle could begin, right? Since you two are just standing there like a bunch of idiots!”
Naruto looked at Luffy and felt that he wanted some nice sweet revenge. Luffy had almost killed him after all. Well, Naruto WAS saving his new technique for Sasuke but Luffy seemed more important right now.
Naruto: “Lets go already! Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!”
Naruto sent out all his clones so that he could test Luffy’s skills. The first clone slid towards Luffy and threw his kunai at his head. Luffy just stood there until the last possible second; then stretched his head over to safety. Naruo gasped in amazement. He knew that Luffy could stretch his arms but not his whole body, too! Naruto really needed to think this battle through because if Luffy could do that, then he could probably stretch his whole body! Naruto used the Jutsu once again and created at least ten more Narutos.
Naruto: “Alright, let’s go! U-zu-ma-ki! Naruto Rendan!”
Naruto used his move on Luffy successfully but when he was done Luffy got back up easily.
Luffy: “Come on! Are you going to get serious or what? Fine. If you’re done playing around then I’ll start! Gum-Gum…. Pistol!”
Naruto was struck hard in the stomach by the stretched out fist.
Luffy: “And Gum-Gum Gatling Gun!”
Naruto was being pulverized by a barrage of fists. Not to mention that his clones were being destroyed.
Luffy: “Now Gum-Gum Double Barrel!”
Naruto felt horrible thinking for one awful moment that he might actually lose to this man.
Luffy: “And finally Gum-Gum Whip!”
Naruto was hit by the outstretched leg and went flying out towards the edge of the areana. Naruto lay there angry at himself and thought about a way out of this. An idea struck him and he got some of his spilled blood.
Naruto: “Summoning Jutsu! Gamakichi!”
Gamakichi appeared and Naruto told him his plan.
Gamakichi: “Alright Naruto. If you say so.”
Luffy looked at them in awe and said, “Wow! A giant frog!”
Gamakichi froze. “What did he say!? A frog! I’m a toad, you idiot!”
Gamakichi hopped up in the air and while Luffy was distracted, Naruto prepared his rasengan.
Luffy: “Hmm. High jumper. Aw well. I’ll fix that! Gum-Gum… Anchor!”
Luffy stretched his arms all the way up to Gamakichi and forcibly started to pull him down.
Luffy: “And did you really think that I would fall for a simple trick like that! Here- have your stupid frog back!” *Gamakichi- I’m a toad, you moron!*
He pulled him down and tried to hit Naruto with him. But Naruto jumped out of the way and dove towards Luffy with his attack.
Naruto: “Rasengan!”
Luffy stood there shocked and tried to move out of the way but Naruto was too fast for him. Naruto finally landed a good hit on him. Luffy went flying backwards and landed barely inside the ring. He wobbled up and Naruto could see that Luffy was coughing up a little blood. Luffy focused for a second and then he was ready to go again.
He stared Naruto down and then struck Naruto with his fist with such speed that Naruto could barely block it. Naruto thought that the Rasengan would finish it. He never thought that Luffy was so tough. Naruto was thinking fast when Luffy cried something out! Naruto couldn’t hear it but then Luffy rushed at him with a speed far greater then what it had been a while ago. Naruto was shocked. It had now turned into a full hand to hand battle. Naruto pulled out a kunai and started fighting Luffy in high speed too.
Naruto was hammering it on hard. Even though Luffy was faster and landing more blows, Naruto was at least cutting Luffy and dealing out considerable damage judging by the amount of blood. He kicked Luffy and tried to take the offensive but Luffy was too strong. Naruto leaped back trying to get some thinking space to prepare his next attack but Luffy caught up to him too quickly. Naruto was forced into close combat again and he didn’t like it. Just then Naruto remembered a part of his training at the mountain of toads. He had masterd a technique that Jiraiya himself was unable to use and thought that now was a good time to use it. But he needed a little more room! He leapt up and threw an array of paper bomb kunai, letting the explosion carry him even higher. He looked down and could tell that Luffy was stunned and confused. Good. That was all the time he needed. Naruto focused his chakra and dove into the nature around him. It was hard considering that he was surrounded by a metallic room but none the less, he found it. He focused on it for a long time and then unleashed its energy.
Naruto: “Sage Art: Time Slow Down.”
Naruto felt it working before he reopened his eyes. He looked down and his descent was slowing down as well. Naruto could see that Luffy was getting into stride again but this time his incredible speed was more like that of a jogging pace for a normal person. Naruto could tell that no one could follow his movements except for Sasuke and the Gatherer. He landed softly then took off. He started by landing a few punches on Luffy, sending him slowly into the air.
Then he made some clones and kicked him higher to perform his Naruto Rendan! Luffy was taking a huge punishment. Then Naruto made an Odama Rasengan and hit Luffy square in the face! His head stretch out incredibly far away and Naruto took out a scroll. A number of kunai and shruiken popped up from the sroll which he threw not only at Luffy’s head but also at his body. The force of it all made Luffy’s head go even further back and Naruto decided to end it. He pulled out a kunai and cut off Luffy’s neck.
Naruto made the jutsu speed up time and everything was back to its original pace. Naruto held up Luffy’s head for all to see.
Gatherer: The winner is Naruto! And so with that, Round One has finished! Naruto and Sasuke will go on to the next round. Now then. It is time for the next match. Team Soul Reaper versus Team Alchemist! Please clear the battle area!
Naruto walked off the arena and met up with Sasuke
Sasuke: “I didn’t know you had it in you to kill someone, Naruto. I was surprised.”
Naruto: “I didn’t want to. For a second, I thought about just letting him live and defeating him but I needed to unfortunately.”
Sasuke: “Of course, if you didn’t, you would have disobeyed the Gatherer and gotten our world destroyed.”
Naruto: “Its not that. I wouldn’t do anything for the Gatherer, home or not. But my partner has to feed now and he only feeds on blood.”
Naruto showed Sasuke his kunai drenched in Luffy’s blood. Then he cut himself with it. Naruto felt a twinge of pain and the blood all disappeared form the kunai. Sasuke was a little shocked to say the least.
Sasuke: “What just happened?!”
Naruto: “It fed. It’s horrible but if I want to win the final battle then I will have to fully unlock my key that my godfather left me. But for that he needs to feed and get stronger.”
Naruto and Sasuke turned and watched the next match feeling the fox. Naruto hadn’t gotten used to feeling it yet but he needed the power. He just hoped that when the time came, he could control it.

hmmm… its a good write but I don’t think I like for Naruto hill someone so callously. It was one thing with Hidan, but this was just too cold for Naruto.
kinda gruesome for Naruto, but great fight nonetheless. I was kinda like Sasuke, I didn’t think Naruto had it in him. I wonder if he’ll do the same for his next fight …

I loved it, awesome battle, felt sry for poor luffy but meh Naruto had to do it. Damn fed the fox blood???? woah thats kinda mad, cant wait for the nxt part.
oh yea skip the other teams fight, get back to Sasuke’s fight in round 2 xD.
Alright you guys I know that some of you are kinda wierded out by the whole blood thing and here’s some closure on that. First Naruto diidnt put the blood in his body. That was him offering the blood to the fox so that he would be able to get stronger since the fox fed off the ENERGY of the blood. It didnt actaully drink it.
second, the key to his power(which will stay a secret till round 3) is necessary to win and so naruto realizes that right now he isnt strong enough to beat every one so he decided to increase his power via the fox feeding. Now then He doesnt need to kill so that the fow could feed but he needs the blood of someone he’s fought with his own hands. He just had to kill him since it was the first feeding. Well i hope that clearewd things up. And thanx for all the comments guys! And thnx for editing lady kay!

what the differents between a frog and a toad ?
They’re from the same Genus, but they’re a different species of anphibians. The difference is primarily in their appearance and the fact that toads are better equiped for dry land: Leathery skin and they also burrow. Jiraiya actually is summoning frogs from what I can see. :\ Though it would be pretty difficult to show a reall difference between the two in an anime…
Does anybody here realize that Luffy is voiced by a woman?
.. dude i have To disagree on what u did to Luffy… luffy can’t be Killed or be wounded by a Ordinary Sharp thing like a kunai… there Some Episode of ONE PIECE that Luffy head Hit by a Cannon ball…but Luffy don’t have any damge Imagine a Cannon Ball!! compared To a OrdinaRy.. Kunai..nhaaa!!!.. and when * Roronoa Zoro cut’s Luffys Arm.. it din’t Bleed…
Sowee dude I totaly disagree on How u Killed Luffy by Naruto.. I’m an Otaku a Rigesterd anime Personel…and i know a lot of things about anime.. next Time U better Research first before U match up Anime Characters…. or a lot Of Otaku will disagree On you!..

A toad is a fresh water only, kind of animal. Frogs live in any type of water.
Well DeOn, Naruto could just automatically have his wind swarming around his kunai. Thin and sharp!! So that could be why he could hurt Luffy.

I think that in his current state, naruto cant defeat luffy. He cant already handle senjutsu and the kyuubi, so luffy have more manpower and speed.
But cant wait to see what will be next, Suna
