Naruto Shippuuden Episode 72: Approaching Menace

*The opening theme of episode 72 contain clips from the Naruto Shippuuden Movie 2
Tsunade receives news from Jiraiya and Kakashi that Akatsuki is on the move. Sure enough, at that moment, Kakuzu and Hidan were fighting Nii Yugito, one of the Hidden Cloud Village’s Jinchuuriki. Despite them looking liked trapped rats after Yugito transforms into her tailed beast form, the Akatsuki duo manages to survive the battle and capture the Jinchuuriki. Back in Konoha, Kakashi visits Naruto at the hospital and tells him to heal up properly because they will train hard once he is well again. A somber Asuma sees Kakashi to tell him something but decides to wait when Kurenai shows up.
Bob’s two-cents: This episode is like a breath of fresh air from that last filler arc; we’re finally back to the stuff Kishi wrote himself. Though I wouldn’t have minded seeing them extend the fight with the Two-Tails. Nii Yugito was kinda like a throw away character, so it’s kind of a shame. But at least from the preview, it looks like the fight between the Zombie Brothers and Chiriku at the Temple of Fire will be extended. Also, check out the last screenshot I took. I think the tailed beast and Jinchuuriki in the shadows might be that turtle tailed beast Deidara and Tobi fought. I’m guessing that fight will get some extra attention as well.

// Aug 25, 2008 at 5:35 pmThis episode was pretty descent. I would have like to see the fight between the gruesome brothers and the 2 tailed beast. All in all it is a nice relief to be away from that that whole Sora filler episodes. I give it a 3 out of 5

I can’t wait to see Sexy Shika kill Hiden~! ^-^ I also can’t wait for Naruto to use his Odama Rasengan~! He’s so smart for killing him! Figuring out new tactics to use his new move. Maybe if he was that motivated all the time he would be way smarter in finding out ways to kill his opponents. O_o”

The show is finally back on track. It’s just a little disappointing to see the fight between the Zombie Brothers and the 2tj ending in that manner – we see Nii Yugito transform into bijuu form and the next thing we know it’s over and she’s hanging on the wall. Can’t wait to see the subsequent battles and hopefully there will be more action and less talk in those fights.

Bob you are right about turtle tailed beast but I doubt that it will get any extra attention,and I will tell you why…
… although this was nice episode guys from Pierrot studio somehow again menage to disappoint us.
First-fight was to short.They drawing everything same as it is in the manga (episode when Naruto and Orochimaru fights on bridge is exactly the same as it was in manga ch),so what I trying to say,theirs imagination is very low and that’s the reason why we for the final product get episode which run for 45 min based on only 17 page of 1 manga ch.
P.S.And I don’t like how they draw 2 tailed beast-it look like a pure chakra and not a material live creature,like 1t,9t and as we saw in last manga ch even 8t beast has material form.It seems that THEY LACK IMAGINATION !
