Gaara, along with other sand ninja, is headed to the Hidden Leaf village regarding the recent surge in A and B ranked missions. Gaara enters the main gate and is met by Lady Tsunade. They both go to her office for a brief discussion. About 20 minutes later Gaara leaves the hokage’s room.
Gaara is just about to leave when Lee catches up to him.
Lee: It has been a long time since I have talked to you.
Gaara: Yes.
Lee: I know it is sudden, but I would like a chance to fight you again.
Gaara: hehehehehehe… That’s nice but, you…ha, you don’t even have a chance.
Lee: That is not true. I am not like I was before. I truly believe I can beat you now.
Gaara gets a weird look in his eye. One similar to the one he had when he fought Naruto.
Gaara: Alright then. Where do you want to fight.
Lee: The Chuunin Examination Stadium.
Lee and Gaara both teleport to the stadium.
Gaara: This time there’s no referee or your sensei to protect you.
Lee: It does not matter. This time I will show you the true power of The Inner Gates.
Gaara: If you become injured for life I take now responsibility.
Lee: That is fine. NOW BRING IT ON!!!
Gaara’s gourd opens up and sand pours out. Lee immediately falls back and jumps up on a tree.
The sand starts to whirl around violently circling Gaara.
Lee: Guy sensei I hope that you approve.
Lee: If I am going to beat you I will need to take off the weights!
Lee pulls his weights off. Gaara remembers the sound of the weights hitting the ground.
He releases the weights, and they hit the ground with a sound almost 3 times louder than the last time.
Gaara: Maybe this time you will be an actual challenge.
Lee: No, this time I will be the one who crushes you.
Lee disappears into thin air.
Gaara: Are you running away!
Lee turns up right next to Gaara.
Lee: Not a chance.
Lee gives Gaara a swift kick to the gut. Gaara goes flying and hits the wall. The just like last time is not fast enough to keep up with Lee’s speed.
Gaara: Okay then if you’re going to play like that.
Gaara makes body armor 5 inches thick, made of sand to cover his whole body. Lee runs directly toward Gaara then disappears again. Lee is right under Gaara in 2 seconds.
Lee: Remember this!!!
Lee kicks Gaara in the air to begin a primary lotus. Lee and Gaara are both in mid-air. Lee grabs Gaara and spins. They both hit the ground with a loud BANG! Lee lands in the middle and stops to catch his breath.
Lee: How is your armor now.
Gaara gets up. His armor is shattered in some places, and cracked in others. Gaara sends his sand at Lee. Lee dodges it easily.
Gaara: Then try this! Sand Style: Sand Cannon Jutsu
The shape of a cannon forms from Gaara sand.
Gaara: I’ll make sure you wont be able to evade this.
Gaara quickly ties Lee down to the ground with sand covering both Lee’s feet.
Lee: Ah! What did you do?
Gaara: You can’t move, now your done for.
Gaara aims the cannon directly at Lee. Lee tries to move but it’s useless. The cannon fires, and hits Lee right in the stomach. Lee hurls back and smashes into the wall.
Smoke is everywhere. The wall is cracking and so is the ground. When the smoke clear Lee is standing. Blood is dripping from his left hand.
Gaara: Have you had enough.
Lee: You must be joking because now the real battle begins.
This is the first installment of the a 3 part series. Next time there will be more action
and things get interesting.
