Naruto Manga Chapter 410 – Black Jinchuuriki gots skillz

This was a pretty awesome chapter especially with the awesome pinup art, note that the three characters on the right are already dead… so who’s next in line? What I really wanted to see was more of Sasuke’s fight than Naruto’s training. Don’t get me wrong, Naruto’s training is getting interesting too, but this new Jinchuuriki actually has a personality! I do wish Kishi didn’t switch between Naruto and Sasuke’s stories for this chapter. I know it’s a classic Kishi no jutsu to do this in order to create some climax, but it just didn’t work for me this time.
The first thing I want say about this new Jinchuuriki is something I forgot to mention in my last post. The Eight-Tails is from Kumogakure (Cloud Village), but remember Yagato Nii, the host of the Two-Tails Demon Cat? She was also from Kumogakure. So that means the Cloud Village had two Jinchuuriki’s under its control, no, two disciplined Jinchuurikis who have good control over their powers. Madara had explained in chapter 404 that the First Hokage spread the tailed beasts amongst the villages to balance out the power. But somewhere along the line, it seems the Cloud Village was able to obtain two of the beasts and seal them within its own ninja. With so much firepower at their disposal, I’m surprised we haven’t heard more about Kumogakure’s militaristic actions in the story.
Now back to the Eight-Tails guy himself. This dude might seem pretty cocky, but he has the skillz to back it up, so he can trash talk all he wants. Plus, he’s the first black character in Naruto, so he has a right to play it. Although I think he needs to work on his rap lyrics: “The Eight-Tails is the quintessential killer bee†WTF? You gotta give him credits for stoppinh Suigetsu’s sword with his bare hands and put ting down Jugo without breaking a sweat, all the while without having to revert to his tailed beast form. This is someone Naruto should be taking lessons from. Suigetsu commented that he had never seen anyone use his beheader sword with such skill before. This and the fact that he carries eight swords around with him all the time, suggests to me that this Jinchuuriki is some kind of weapons expert. Not the long range type like Tenten, but a close ranged swordsman. He seems like a pretty good match for Sasuke, but how will he stand up to Sasuke’s new Mangekyou Sharingan? And one more thing, why is Karin so useless in fights? She’s like Sakura from part one all over again. C’mon Kishi, I think we’ve had enough token female characters in this series already.
Meanwhile, Naruto is going into the first phase of his training: learning how to absorb nature’s energy. Yoda, I mean Fukasaku, offers him a little help by introducing to the magical toad oil. The upside is that it will enhance Naruto’s ability to feel nature’s energy, but the downside is that it will change him into a frog if he’s not careful. Naruto starts freaking out because he knows that frog-boys don’t get the girls in the end (look at Jiraiya). Fukasaku assures him that it will be fine because he has a big stick to whack him in the head every time he starts changing. Good thing Naruto has a hard head or else he’s gonna end up with multiple concussions by the end of the training. I wonder if Naruto’s dad, Minato, had the same frog transformation problems too….

Great analysis as always! This chapter was very informative about Sage techniques, but I wish there was more on the fight between Juugo, Suigetsu and 8-tails. Hopefully next chapter will be better with Sasuke vs the singing dancing killer bee!
Plus, you know how Jiraiya didn’t master the sage arts completely, and how he needed Ma and Pa’s help … can you imagine Naruto needing their help and how retarted he’d look with one toad on each shoulder? lol

I hope that we don’t see all of NAruto’s training. Just glimps of it. Personallly I want to see Naruto when the training is done when he shows off his new found power in battle. I want to see more of the fight between Sasuke and MC squid.
What is surprising is the amount offrog statues. Wow It must be hard to control nature. So many people tried to learn the sage arts but turned into frog statues. I bet Minato took the sage training as well. he had inorder for him to be able to put the Kyuubi key on one of there frogs. Also his techniques the flying god of thunder i believe is from the sag arts. It allowed him to tap into wind to increase his speed and thus make it look like he teleported somewhere.

i even said in a last comment that since the 2 tailed demon is the secod strongest in the village this guy myst be the strongest and he must have been able to hande the sword easy because look at the muscles this guy has no wonder he used it ease

For both the frog statues and distribution of the tailed beasts, dont forget to account for the passage of time.
Yeah, there are a lot of frog statues but we dont know for how long that ninjas contracted with the frogs have been coming to the mountain to train. Those statues could have built up over a few centuries or more.
Yeah, the First Hokage distributed the tailed beasts he controlled among the original ninja villages. However that was over 80 years ago, and he probably did not control all of them so some could have already been in hosts or roaming free. In the time since then, the distribution could have changed dramatically.
Given that the kyuubi was only placed in Naruto 13 years ago, you have to wonder which tailed beast the First Hokage kept for Konoha when he distributed them among the villages. If it was the kyuubi, how was it controlled or what happened to its previous hosts, especially right before it was put in Naruto.
great post bob, it seems the 8 tails has alot of power sasuke has his work cut out for him, and for some reason i cant see this guy bein killed off that’d be too sad=( haha o well for all those like myself who thought sage arts were gonna make naruto look like an idiot and give him the same jutsus as his master can breath easy. im sure he’ll actually perfect this and be way stronger!!
The eight-tail jinchuuriki is interesting but I wish the majority of black characters in anime were not given trash talking street gangster personalities. I suppose that is a result of Japanese impressions of the black community in the US, but there are other notable personalities they could base off of. Samuel Jackson, Dennis Haysbert, and Denzel Washington are well known actors who do very good portrayals of the soft spoken, serious, and extremely competent type of character like Shaft.

i think the cloud village was the weakest of all villages so shodaime gave the 8 tails and the 2 tails to them or they only got the 8 or 2 tails and the other one abandoned his/her village and became a cloud village nin

What a chapter. i find it really interesting that jiraiya didnt fully master sage arts. i also dont think minato knew sage arts. i mean fukasaku would have mentioned he was training naruto like little jiraiya and little minato.

Good point shardis, you see this a lot in other manga/anime, it’s a shame. Bleach actually handles it a little better I think, Kaname Tosuen for example.
Hopefully the eight-tails will will put Sasuke in his place. I Like Sasuke almost as Naruto but he dumped Sakura the sweet sexy of Naruto. Sasuke is acting like a dick.

Notice in this chapter how Yoda says if you take in too much ‘nature’ chakra’ you turn into a toad.
So what if you had an over-flowing amount of spirit chakra?
Would that turn you into a spirit?
If so, is that how Madara does his freaky lil flash step dance?
Mr. Jinchuuriki and Mr. 8-Tails looked more red than black, so maybe he’s a hafu.
Overall I liked the chapter but as usual it was over all too quick.
This chapter was cool to me because of the eight tails now we know he’s not going to be such a push over and I think he will wipe the floor with Sasuke maybe Madara will have to come and help! Won’t surprise me one bit if he does! Oh yah were the hell is Pein I hope he does attack until Naruto finishes his training!
I’ve been thinking about the whole toad thing. does that mean all summons have a secret technique that they can teach their summoners… like slug mode for tsunade?
well as we see the 8 tails got impressive skills with swords and taking little Suigetsu sword and showed him how to use it and what’s so funny is the way Suigetsu standing back looking at the 8-tails propt up against his sword like it was his and he can’t go get it back. lol
And i think Sasuke got his hands full with this guy but one thing i like was the way Sasuke handling this sitaution by letting Suigetsu go in first since he didn’t like the way Sasuke been using his eyes to make things alot easier for them and now he is humbled and will now see why Sasuke is the leader of team Hawk.
And with Naruto it is a shame how simple minded he is and suppose to be a hokage. I was hoping that Naruto would have to take a pill or something of that sort and die and be reborn back into nature and loose all his old personality of being hard to train and being so simple. Because as it stands if he wash himself with the Toad oil he with be able to do the Nature Chakra thing ,but as time go by when a person as him to train them he can’t because he don’t understand how it works himself and that bad for the star of the cartoon series. So i hope he do die so it can be a good battle between him and Sasuke. And i hope that after this short time of training with the frogs he don’t comeback showing us he can control all 9 tails and doing all kinds of crazy jutsus while that form,now that would be weak
Naruto is gonna be the man, but the 8tails is gonna own friggen sasuke i hope!? i wonder if the 8tail’s swords are like temari’s fan. once you see all of them it is over or something along those lines. idk but it would be cool!
@Kazekage-dono – That is certainly a good point. One supporting possibility is that all the specialized techniques that Kiba’s clan knows might be non-senjutsu techniques that the dogs taught them to enhance their ability to work together.
If it is true, it would be nice if Sakura could learn some more so she can do something other than heal afterwards or destroy landscape. Given that Kakashi thinks she would be good at genjustu and Naruto is so weak with them, having her train more in this area would be handy. Learning to dispel genjutsu at range would immediately help Naruto, and learning some genjutsu to slow/stop an enemy would help Naruto to get in close to hurt them.

Anyway. Loved to see Suigetsu and Juugo loosing. Hope too see Sasuke in full battle. Looks like he will use chidori as his key weapon as several predicted.

Bob, love that bit about the 2t and the 8t hailing from the same village. Another char who’s from the Cloud is Gashira who attempted to kidnap Hinata 12 years ago. Gashira was killed by Hinata’s father. Well y’all know the story.
Anyway, been really curious about the tattoos of the 8t. The bull’s horns mean strength and fortitude while iron is associated with the planet Mars in astrology and symbolizes physical strength, male energy. Now if these tattoos speak for what the 8t is all about, then hell, he must be one mean SOB.
Doesn’t the 8t remind you of Morpheus from the Matrix? It’s all about the sunglasses without temples. lol
Fukasaku said that in order to perform the senjutsu, a shinobi must be able to balance his (1) spiritual energy, (2) physical stamina – which are innate of the shinobi and (3) nature’s power – external force. Would Naruto experience difficulty in balancing these 3 elements since he has the kyuubi inside of him? Or this will really help him control the kyuubi’s chakra?

I loved this chapter. Man wats rong wit kishi, i thought we will finally see Naruto getting super strong, but he cam up wit another problem, turning into a fox. Lol he still hasnt worked out how to use the Kyuubi’s chakra yet. But i hope he masters the sage art, its finally time for him to get strong. Btw does anyone hve a feeling that maybe Minato mastered the Sage Art fully????
And btw this 8-tailed guy is awesome, he defeated the 2 guys so easily without getting serious at all. I hope he teaches some lesson to Sasuke.
ok tailedfox and everyone else who says that Minato went through Sage training…think about it yoda frog never said he went through sage training he just had made a pact with the toads! so he could use them…he might not have done training?!?!?! idk though maybe kishi will give us some insight!

And good observation tailedfox, I think Minato did master senjutsu, and Jiraiya got far and they both counldn’t add elements to Rasengan so we see Naruto as a good chance to come out of this training session with something new only he could master. Remeber Jiraiya did rasengan with senjutsu and it was huge so imagine Narutos new rasengan with senjutsu, dam powerful!
Also I wanna see Sasuke get his butt handed to him like some others here but HE HAS A NEW MANGEKYOU SHARINGAN, this battle is gonna very cool if!(If Kishi lets us see it in it’s entirety unlike that dam jiraiya vs pein battle, still mad at that one!)
Well we still not sure, about Minato mastering the Senjutsu but @ Pleasure and Pein. Minato made the same agreement as Jiraiya and Minato, the 3 of them had made a pact wit the toads but we noe that Jiraiya went thru Senjutsu training but he cudnt master it completely. So I was thinking maybe Minato did master it, since he was a super genius, and maybe thats how he made the Flying Thunder jutsu by combining wind and nature chakra or somtin like that.
Well we have to wait, btw wen Pa toad showed the pact to Naruto at Konaha gate, there wasnt 3 names, actually 5 ppls signature so we not sure who will be the other 2.

its no surprise the 8tail jinchuuruki is very skilled. he was there at the lightning cloud gorge training all night. plus he has a bijuu in him. im sure he’ll make sasuke sweat at least.
senjutsu training is getting really interesting. naruto looks promising. though he is not smart the way most people expect him to be, naruto has proven himself in his past trainings that he can succeed through sheer determination. proofs: (1) he has mastered kage bunshin by himself in just one night though it is a jounin level jutsu, (2) he worked really hard to learn summoning technique (i know jiraiya had to push him in a cliff, but still…let’s give naruto the credit), (3) he learned rasengan in just a few weeks, it’s an A-level jutsu that only 3 shinobis have mastered, and lastly he mastered the Fuuton Shuriken Rasengan, a high level jutsu that involves both chakra form and chakra nature manipulation, something that even Minato havent mastered. so there. there’s no doubt Naruto will master senjutsu. and he would deserve it because he’s a hard working shinobi. “it’s my shinobi way to never give up”. looking forward for Friday.
Sasuke is very intelligent, he sends in two powerful members of hawk, first Suigetsu then Juugo, the latter being the strongest, to test the 8-tails strength, sheer genius, then he decides to attack himself when he has had an opportunity to assess the situation… that’s the kind of intelligence Naruto needs. I mean look at Shikamaru he isn’t as powerful as the other ninjas but uses what he has efficiently, all this supercharging that they are giving Naruto is in my mind pointless. additionally, I think Naruto by now should have suggested shadw clones to assist with speeding up the training process.
Okay what i’m starting to gather from Sage arts is two things. 1. that natural chakra is something all animals are able to access… therefore sage mode is not toad specific & 2. the sage arts basically only increase the chakra available to you and do no in and of themselves allow for greater number of available jutsu! With these two points in mind, this means that Sage Arts are pretty much a substitute for kyuubi, because if naruto could harness the power of the Kyuubi like Gaara or the 8-tails dude, then he would have no need to use this mode!
kazekage-dono…gaara never really harnessed the power of shukaku…it still gave him trouble. but it does seem that the the killer bee has more control over yamata no orochi than naruto has over kyuubi
I think 8-tails vs saskue is going to be an even match reosons there both swordsmen and most likly lightning element users and have a backup weapon sasuke has a new sharingan and 8-tails has his jinuchuuruki
yeah you all have good points, Naruto as a frog….Thatd be quite funny! not that it will happen, we all know that Naruto is the chosen one, (neo) and therefore will master this properly. And i spose this is the only way he can catch up with sasuke, im starting to think their fight is coming in fast…..Sweeet.

Again I agree with Kazekage-dono, both on the likelihood of whether Minato trained in the sage arts and what the sage arts and mixing chakra truly represent.
Sasuke was considered a genius of his generation (or close to it) and look what he has managed to do with chidori and electricity jutsu in general and he has relied on the cursed seal as little as he possibly could. Minato has been portrayed as a truly rare genius so it should not be surprising that he created the Rasengan or his Flash Step without ever training in the Sage Arts. I would think that Fukasaku would have mentioned Minato undergoing the training by now if he had. As Kazekage-dono mentioned, contracting with the frogs does not automatically mean training in the Sage Arts as well.
I also agree that mixing in Nature when forming chakra just seems to be a way to make larger (more powerful – open to interpretation) chakra than a normal ninja could. Not quite up to most Jinchuuriki, but as close as a normal ninja could get. Any Senjutsu techniques are quite likely just techniques that require lot more chakra than anyone could normally produce. If so, Naruto could probably do them using the kyuubi’s chakra if he could maintain control.
Contracting with frogs has probably been around for quite some time so it is not surprising to see names even further back on the scroll than Jiraiya, and that after only unrolling the scroll a little. The 3 of them are just the most recent ones to contract.
Assuming Naruto manages to master forming this new chakra. I can see two major possibilities for Kishi introducing it.
1) The kyuubi is removed from Naruto but he survives and using Senjutsu allows him to maintain near the same level of chakra in battle as he does now.
2) He learns to combine the kyuubi’s chakra with this new chakra to really generate a lot of chakra. This is likely to be very dangerous as the kyuubi seems to go against the natural order and so the two chakra sources probably do not merge well. The only reason I could see for trying to use both would be if Akatsuki tried to harness the chakra from the tailed beasts they already had in that statue before getting the kyuubi out of Naruto.
Amusing that folks consider Sasuke intelligent for watching Suigetsu and Jugo engage the jinchuuriki first before fighting himself, but folks consider Naruto stupid for doing same thing when he creates clones and sends them in at the start of each fight.
I realize Naruto was not conciously probing his enemy’s abilities but it amounted to the same thing. Now that he DOES know about absorbing the clones’ experience, he has started to conciously use his clones in this manner as seen when he fought Kakuzu.

That was an amazing chapter.Man the Jinchuriki seems way too strong.It took Suigetsu’s sword and took out Juugo in curse mark form so easily.He didn’t even got a scrach.

.So the form that Jiraiya had wasn’t normal.If you master them well these arts won’t make you a toad.Man not even Jiraiya couldn’t master them completly..WOW.I think that Naruto will surpass him and he ll become stronger.But it ll take long time.
Jezz the battle between the Jinchuriki and Sasuke seems to me like an Itachilike battle.But it won’t last that long.But it would be unfair if Sasuke defeats him easily.I mean come on now.I want him to be hurt and find the things hard.ENOUGH.I can’t stand UCHIHA SASUKE!!!!!!
Senjutsu looks very difficult to learn.But once its been learned it make it’s user SUPER strong.I also want to see Pain’s attack.Can’t wait.

I know Sasuke will defeat the 8-tails but it will take all he got to do it though and it will imprint in his mind that he needs somemore training and it will have to be from Madara so he can become stronger than his brother.
Also i think most people think Naruto is the only one being taught Sengetsu training was Orochimaru had to had taught Sasuke the same thing because he uses it with his lightin techique he used on Itachi when all his normal chakra was used up, so to me Naruto is still catching up to Sasuke as of right now. Don’t get me wrong Sasuke has not been taught Sage arts and problaly haven’t master Sengetsu traing either but he had been introduced to it.
Well techincly Sasuke used his fireballs to warm the atmoshpere and completed his move with his remaining amount of chakra.He didn’t gethere it from the nature.He caused it.
And as i watched Shippuuden epidsode 67 i think Pein is going to loose most of his drones maybe all of them because by time he gets there the Leaf will be done founded out how to beat Pein he better take Madara words to heart get there as fast as you can because he knows how smart the Leaf village ninja’s are.
And i see more Avatar fan joining the site that good welcome because i am a big Avatar fan also. i don’t like the way it ended in book 3 Fire maybe there will be a book 4 Air and onward.
If i read it right i think he used chakra dragons to come from the ground to warm up the atmosphere so he could cause that light’n move ,but i’ll go back and re-read that manga but i think he said he was out of chakra also but i check.
Ohhh sasukes awesome new move, yeah that RULED i cant wait to see it in anime form, thatll look so cool. that whole fight will be amazing actually, and not many flashbacks which is a huge bonus!
no sasuke used the fire dragon jutsu and shot them into the sky with the last of his chakra to change the atmosphere temp and bring the lightning down!
first of gd chapter and im looking 4ward to seeing which jutsu sasuke has kept after the removal of orichimaru and the cs and what tech his ms has. as 4 the senjutsu well i have a couple of qu. first of naruto already has 3 types af chakra being spiritial, phyisical and 9 tails chakra and we all know these are not in balance because of the 9 tails massive chakra, so how the hell will he be able to introduce thise natural chakra and balance it all out. 2ndly if he does manage it then could he use it to ovrpower the 9 tails because i amagin natural energy is limitless. 3rdly apart from make him stranger and prob faster will naruto gain nymore jutsu, i mean its a given that he will add natural chakra to the resen shuriken but will he learn nymore wind jutsu or toad jutsu or summonings or even another elemental chakra? and lastly id like to mention something every1 seems to have 4goten about, WHERES THAT DAM SCROLL TOAD WIT NARUTO,S KEY? we saw im in granny’s office and that was it, shouldn’t he be in naruto by now or at least naruto should know about it.

Okay. Not to take a dump on anybody’s parade, but what’s the hell!? The only black guy in the entire series is some crap-ass ghetto wannabe! That’s more than a little annoying.
I might be wrong, but wasn’t Kumogakure involved in the Amegakure war somehow? I’ll look it up, but that might be why they have two Jinchuuriki under their belt.

many stated here that naruto is hard headed and cant get the training right away…but if we are going to review the previous training of naruto, seems we can say, naruto was a genius,
consider these, 1. naruto learned the kage bushin technique from simply reading the script at once
2. he was the genin to learn summoning technique by virtue of 1 week or less
3. he learn the ransengan for less than a month, while other ninja may take 3 years or more
4. he can improve many of his techniques learned , making it unique and powerful

okay im here to talk about naruto so lets get to it.im re-watching the manga as im typing this so ill talk about stuff as it pops up.when pa toad says that “those who cant fully control the energy will turn into frogs”(by the way this will be a hell’a funny moment animated) i immediately thought of jiriaya when doing his ultimate rasengan,when he kicked of his sandals as his feet and hands morphed.then i thought it must be tough if jiriay couldnt master it.
next is when pa toad summoned the black stick (i could be wrong because i havent read all the comments) but SEEMS VERY SIMILAR TO PAINS STICKS that he stabbed jiraiya with inside the barrier and out.is also similar in that THEY ARE BOTH BLACK, AND THEY BOTH HINDER CHAKRA IN SOME FASSION !? WHEN PA REMOVED IT FROM JIRIAYA HIS CHAKRA RETURNED TO NORMAL,AND WHEN PA HIT NARUTO THE SAGE CHAKRA LEFT HIM.ITS ALSO IRONIC THAT PA TOAD KNEW THAT THE ROD WAS MESSING WITH JIRIAYS CHAKRA… I WONDER WHY ? (although it obvious hahaha)mmmhmm
then he says if you dont have natural,spiritual, and physical perfectly balanced you cant create sage chakra.when i first read this i though how can naruto,who cant even control his regular chakra,not to mention the kyuubi’s chakra(or keep it in check) manage to master the sage arts ?(although i know hell find a way… after all its naruto=summoning,rasengan,fuuton rasen,ect)
then he says is theres too much the natural energy will turn you into a frog.this statement gave me a yes and no feeling.going against my initial thought that jiriaya hadnt mastered the sage arts.i thought that jiriaya was just adding more juice to ultimate rasengan to try to kill pain(but he still has control) BUT PA TOAD CONFIRMED MY WORRIES THAT NOT EVEN JIRAIYA GOT IT PERFECT.

man im tired… i have so many typo’s.i also forgot to mention this.i remember from reading the last few discussions.people were talking about which sannin was the strongest.i know that because of the type of summonings they have that they are equal.but this made me think alot.because we now know that jiriaya changed because of the sage arts.then when orochimaru scurried along the ground when fighting naruto by that bridge.well then was orochimaru using some type of snake/hebi art ? when orochimaru turned into a white scaley snake when fighting sasuke,had he used too much snake art ?(im sure im wrong because they said its because he experimented on himself,although thats only sasukes opinion ?it could be possible ?can any of the other animals grant these abilities ? is it a bonus for choosing the frogs(although there is a possible price, being turned into a statue) ? i personally thought orochimaru was the strongest,but as with time jiraiya eventually surpassed him.i also thought orochimaru was the strongest until i saw his fight with pain.but if there supposedly equal then does tsunade have a jutsu similar to hermit mode ?

Wait a minute, i totally forgot Sasuke doesn’t have his cursed seal. This is big because dam near every time he’s fought in big battles he’s used the seal to save him from near death experiences, sometimes more than once in the same battle. His new sharigan better be really strong or he has actually gone down in power, he doesn’t have the healing ability either from Oroch. The only boost I in his power would be that he has more control over his own body which could be devastating.
And for this debate if Naruto is dumb or not, Naruto is instinctual fighter and he learns on the go, so he is neither dumb nor smart. He is just fights in battles using instinct and training which I think if he gets realy good at, naturally he will know how to THINK in battles.
Tensai-Teki remeber that Orochimaru was already learning forbidden jutsu’s so I think around the time he left the village(like sasuke vs nartuo battle) they fought and jiraiya got owned because of his new jutsu’s(my opinion), so his arts could just be forbidden jutsu’s he mastered but it seems like since their sensei was the third its like he taught them how to create there own unique jutsus like kakashi/naruto. Anyway so i agree that jiraiya got stronger than Oroch later on in the story.
I was upset with this chapter.
The Naruto lesson was important, but after Kishimoto built up the Sasuke/8-tails fight last chapter, I was ready for that.

I attend college,have never gotten into any trouble,in the enriched program in elementary and middle school,i did honors classes in high school,some AP=advanced placement courses,my teachers tried to get me to dual enrollement because the college i go to is in the same county as my high school.dual enrollement is where you do college courses while in high school.and i would’ve done it,if i wasnt so into sports.as we all know there are good educated law abiding citizens in all races,nationalities,creeds,colors,sex’s,etc. i mean i dont rap and have braids… but my borther does lol.

thats a link to my myspace photo of a picture i took of a well renound japanese orchestra called the ina gakuen(reminds me of sei shun gakuen or seigaku from the prince of tennis).they performed in west palm beach county,my college,and orlando as part of their florida tour.they’ve also won all kinds of awards all over the world.anyways i took this photo at the beach as they were exiting the board walk from the beach(3 busses and a lot more but couldnt fit in the pic.took with my iphone).i went to the concert at my school,and i usually go the beach in the moring.i live about 1 1/2 miles from the atlantic,and my area is know for out beaches.actually i did the corniest thing ever,and i cant believe im saying this.so as we had our conversations i wanted to make them laugh.so i made a hand sign and said suna bunshin.and we all burst out laughing.they would ask me how to say this in japanese.somethings i didnt know but most i knew.we had more indepth talks but they asked me basic stuff like sky,water,ocean,wood for the board walk.so the night of the concert(the day before i saw them at the beach),having took sociology class.i went behind stage and took more photos(but there no on my myspace)with the students,and conductor.i got a chance to practive my japanese.i got congratulated on my accent which was nice.and i talked to the translator and conductor about that portrayel of blacks and they agreed that thats usually the role they get in the american movies that come to japan !?
from what ive gathered and read in forums about japanese being racists.yes there are racists people everywhere.but the best thing to do so see if you like japan is to go there.which is why im going to the university of tokyo next summer for a summer course of japanese.its meant for college students(althought there are other camps for the underage).if any people are iterested in it ill post the info.

jiriaya had no chakra control.even though he orochimaru had no hands.he still had his chakra.and his head.its not like hes a regular shinobi who cant stretch is head and cough up swords.but i guess its his jutsu so its not like he’s cheating.do you remember when sasuke was about to kick one of the chuunin proctors.and rock lee stopped his kick.sasuke says: man thats some chakra hes got in his arm.have you ever seen a shinobi throw a puch with no chakar behind it ? its nothing.so having chakra(without arms) is an advantage over having arm and no chakra.j-sama had chakra but couldnt get it right like with his lions mange justu.it if was working properly,than orochimaru wouldnt have gotten through.and he was drugged to the poing were he stumbled to shizune in the room.
Oh Sry Tensai-Teki i was talking about the time where jiraiya lost to Oroch right after he left the village not when all 3 sannin fought, Oroch wounded jiraiya so mayb he learned his hermit arts after that battle.

Coz Pa toad mentioned those who failed and Jiraiya who managed to go half way, but he didnt mention of those who actually master it so maybe Minato is amongst those who did fully master the sage art.
This whole Jiraiya not mastering the sage arts thing and turning toad like makes me think that the same thing happened with Orochimaru, I mean he looked like a snake init? And with his whole thing with experimenting to become stronger and know every jutsu, it makes sense that he then sought out natural chakra as a way to achieve this.
Maybe read it wrong, but I think the whole thing about turning into a frog is only if they use the Frog Oil. Remember, Naruto asked if there was an easier way, Pa said that there is, but it’s risky. I mean, if everyone who tries to balance physical, spiritual and natural fails, the world would be full of frogs, right?
Oh and one more thing, Tensai-Teki I think its messed up that you pack the blog up with your albeit interesting non-Naruto related information and noone says anything about it, isn’t that meant to be spam for crying out loud!
Firelord I get your point, but the way I see it is that surely if one species can do it, so can the other species that get summoned, I mean it wouldn’t make sense that the frogs are the only ones who (a) can use natural chakra and (b) have a way of drawing the chakra to their summoners, I mean if that were the case everyone would simply use toads and not any other creature as a summon, seeing as how summoning just requires that you (a) have the requisite chakra and (b) have signed the contract with the species.
true … but summoning has nothing to with natural chakra. Natural chakra is just allowing yourself to be open to nature, to be able to feel the raw natural energy around you and harness it. That’s why Naruto asked if there was an easier way, enter the Frog Oil. The frog oil helps to draw in the natrual energy, but if you take in too much, you turn into a frog.
other summoning species may have a shortcut, cause like you said other species should be able to do it also, but I dunno … I can’t shake the feeling that this sage arts stuff is Toad Specific. Oh well.

@9 tail – Not necessarily stronger but I think Kishi has made it pretty clear that more tails means more chakra. That means the kyuubi has the most chakra of all the beasts, but not that he necessarily knows how to use it effectively.
@FirelordSokka – I dont think the Sage Arts are frog only. I agree with Kazekage-dono that all the animal summons probably know about the flow of Nature energy. It has been established that the snakes are very greedy. Manda (largest snake Orochi summoned, equal to Gamabunta) made mention of Orochi owing him for even summoning him. I would imagine that the snake have a truly outrageous “price” to consider teaching Sage Arts to any snake summoner. The other animals may have different requirements they apply to their summoners or outlooks on even whether to teach humans. Also realize the very narrow perspective we have here. The frogs are the only animal summon outside of Paku (one of Kakashi’s dogs) who we have seen any significant conversations with.
Also on the Frog Oil, I dont think it is the sole reason for possibly turning into a frog. It is an inherent risk to using Sage Arts at all. The fact that Jiraiya changed some shows it is not just the oil. Training with the Frog Oil is so risky because someone who has no experience handling Nature energy is trying to balance it while having it sucked into his body whether he wants to or not. It is sort of like giving explosives to someone without any prior training and asking them to become an expert. The person is more likely to kill themselves than succeed.
@Haruto and others – When Naruto uses normal chakra he is not always needing to balance spiritual, physical, and kyuubi power. In normal use, he is actually using little if any of kyuubi’s power. The seal on Naruto is designed so that kyuubi’s power normally slowly leaks into him (probably into his spiritual energy) and mixes with his natural energy until it is the same, sort of like a controlled leak through a filter. Naruto has learned to increase the flow of kyuubi’s power but at the cost of not filtering it first. It was this natural leak that made it so hard for Naruto to balance his spiritual and physical energies early on to make chakra, one was lot higher than the other. His training over the years has probably made his base physical and spiritual energies closer to each other and so not as hard for him to balance, though he still does not have the perfect balance that Sakura does.
And while Nature energy may be limitless, the chakra formed with it is not. The ninja must still balance the Nature energy with his physical and spiritual energy. This limitation is why chakra formed with Nature energy will still be less “powerful” than tailed-beast chakra.
Naruto may be taught some more jutsu once he learns to balance Nature energy. Will probably depend on how much time he has to train before he is called back, either from them learning something from the autopsy/interrogation or Pein attacking. The scroll toad probably told Fukasaku and maybe Tsunade about Jiraiya’s last order and they are just waiting until Naruto knows more (or maybe more mature) before showing him what is on the scroll.

I wonder what’s gonna happen when Pein gets to Konoha (first he needs to go to Ichiraku Ramen). After that, he can go ahead and kill Tsunade. Nobody in Konoha will be able to fight Pein and win. Not even Kakashi will be able to manage having a fair fight against, unless all the Konoha shinobi come up with amazing teamwork and hopefully knowing the secret behind the Rinnegan. I am looking forward to what Konan may do. She seemed useless against Jiraiya.
Naruto will experience life as a frog and probably get over the nasty food of Myobokuzan. We’ll see how fast he learns. I wanna see some deaths.

@Shardis Wolfe: I see your point, I understand it, but I still don’t agree. Maybe it’s just me, but I still think the Sage arts are Toad Specific. Either that, or they are only shown to few very select few. As you pointed out about Orochimaru, if the Snakes have a Sage Technique, Orochimaru would have known about it. Also, judging from the person he’s shown himself to be (selfish and power hungry), he would have used it, but he never did. That’s not to say that the snakes don’t have one, as I said, it just may be that only a select few can learn it.
About the frog oil, true that it may not be the only reason, but if it speeds up the process in gathering nature energy, it’ll also speed up the time into turning into an animal. But I think that it’s because of the frog oil that he’ll turn into a frog. If he used snake oil, maybe then he’d be a snake. Bird oil, into a bird. Make sense, right?
Actually because of the outrageous “price” I think the snakes would have asked of Orochimaru, I lean towards him not knowing the Sage Arts (or at least not learning them properly from the snakes). For something like learning Sage Arts which would require a lot of dedicated time from the animal (to judge from Naruto and Fukasaku’s accounts of Jiraiya), the cost might have been more than Orochi was willing to pay. However I could see him trying to learn the Sage Arts another way like stealing frog oil or equivalent and testing it on some of his prisoners.
Some of the techniques Orochimaru used during his fight with 4-tailed Naruto might have been Snake Sage Arts. Since Orochimaru never made a big deal about using them, it is impossible to say either way.
I think Naruto will be killer after he masters toads, I think he will completely master to it so not to look slightly toadish, I agree that I tire of stereotypical hood gangsta. I hope he smacks sasuke around for a while before sasuke uses he MS. What a crutch, I see sasuke using it over and over and it making him weak becuase of it. Because of the blindness and the fact that it will become a crutch to lean on and he will rely on it to much.

Mister_Sensei I have to highly disagree with you, I think the leaf village should not be underestimated. Jiraiya was able to take out one of Pein’s guys out by himself and we know MADARA even said hurry because he knew the leaf is cunning. And how can we underestimate Kakashi and Guy combo? We still haven’t these guys true power, Guy can open all 8 gates to that’s beyond kage strength right there and kakashi can’t use thousands of jutsus plus hes smart. Jiraiya had versatility which can counter Pein’s abilities but not like kakshi’s versatility and remeber Jiraiya could have owned pein if he knew who he was, remeber he took out 3 bodies but they came back to life. Pein is not as good as everyone thinks, he just holds a powerful secret, not skill.

lol IKASU….however i have to disagree with you too…i think Mister_ Sensei was right to basically say that the villiage hidden in the leaf is a totally useless….right now if pein was to come to the villiage, there is literally no one that could stop him…if the great jaraiya could not stop him then who in konoah can…jaraiya is dead so he cannot help konoah at the moment….the only thing that will prevent pein from PWNING is if they are able to unlock the code properly before pein arrives…and even then, the likelyhood is still slim….but the one thing i hate is that, the leaf ninjas always beat people if they work together..ie: kakuzu and hidan and other people (aint bovered to remmember)….they are probably gonna work together like helpless people that cant fight on their own…….i like to see individual fights, not handicaped matches with like 10 against 1….and anyway, i think that it doesnt matter what happens at peins arrival at konoah because i think that pein will die during a fight with naruto..which i doubght is anytime soon

Being individually strong is good but no one lives in a bubble alone and only one person can be number one, so it is just smart tactics to work together. Given how quickly Shikamaru analyzed Hidan and how quickly Kakashi did the same for Kakuzu, I think the Leaf ninjas should figure the basics of what Pein can do pretty fast like sharing what each body sees and each body specializing in one kind of jutsu. Besides if you like one-on-one fights, then you should hate Pein. There may be some deaths, but I think the Leaf ninjas should be able to cope with Pein especially if they can separate the bodies. Not sure how Konan will affect the battle but her paper magic should work lot better without the constant rain.
Nicely put Shardis,…….think about it. Pein’s bodies specialize in one area of expertise at a time, i have no doubt that the leaf can fully take care of Pein’s bodies, the LEAF useless?? Its like one of the best hidden villages having the uchiha and senju histroy and all, i know they have way more tricks up there sleaves then we see, so i think they could defeat Pein with great loss. I mean Pein doesn’t have unlimited chakra im asuming and remeber Pein said if Jiaraiya knew the secret identity then he would have beat him……….sooooo Naruhina1 your saying Jiraiya was more powerful then the whole leaf village????
Surely, Naruto could master the senjustu, and use this mass of natural chakra to ballance the kuubi’s chakra, thus giving naruto controll of the kuubi chakra and access to the a much larger portion of kuubi chakra. With this under his belt he could easily take on any ninja.
Also with his shadow clones, and the strength of the natural chakra to enhance them, naruto could keep all of peins boddies occupied, thus giving naruto the upper hand.
Well IKASU::: I do think Jiraiya was powerful than the whole village as in 1on1 battle, but kishi gave us a kinda bad reputation for Jiraiya coz he got pwned by Pein, lets not think of him as a weak ninja, remember it was sorta 6v1, and Jiraiya still defeated Pein 3times but he brought it back. And Remember Itachi and Kisame had to run away coz of Jiraiya, if he wasnt strong enough then those 2 surely would kick his @ss.
Btw lets not take the konaha’s shinobies too easy on their team work, they could beat Pein if they work out his secret and it could be possible to beat him even witout his secret, coz Shika, Kakashi is there for teamwork. Pein owned Jiraiya coz it was 6on1 and heaps of summons on top of that, but here we have reli good ninjas to fight against each Pein’s body.
I’m surprised the Kyuubi let natural energy over run his hosts body like it did. You would think he’d interviene.
Also… I was think Orochimaru probably knew sage arts and that’s why in his supposed battle with Sasuke to take over his uchiha body Orochimaru turned into a white snake because he was using the sage arts and hadn’t really gained controll over it.
If Sasuke really new Sage arts he would have used it on itachi. I think he used science and the manipulation of the environment and his own chakra to control the earths environment outside of him.
Sage arts… I believe is the sucking in of the energy of nature in order to manipulate it like one manipulates their physical body or their own chakra energy.
NOW… naruto has been learning how to suppress the kyuubi and balance his chakra so I think he’s actually more prepared for this than other people that have tried. So hopefully he’ll master it pretty quickly.
About the cloud country having two tailed beasts… I just think that makes sense because the other countries must have had two originally when the first hokage divided them up to create a balance. Except one country only had one jinchuuriki… I wish Kishi would give us the back ground on all of that.

I think every one is cheering for the 8tails. I know it probably won’t happen, but I hope that he injures Sasuke somehow… and Sasuke has to go heal, and has time to think of how stupid his character has become. This guy has been manipulated from the very beginning of the series. It would be nice if he thought for himself for once.
Siskin… I don’t think Orochi knew the sage arts. I remember them saying in an early chapter that he studied the “white snake” that had the ability to regenerate itself. Orochi was basically a “mad scientist”. He conducted a crap load of experiments, especially with the help of the other medical genius Kabuto.
Sasuke is strong, but they’re making him out to be this unstoppable being. If he’s so unstoppable, why weren’t the other Uchiha just as powerful. It couldn’t have just been Itachi and Sasuke. Not to mention, as it seems, with out the curse mark, and without Itachi giving Sasuke all his justu, Sasuke would be completely worthless.

@Siskin – Unless Naruto lets his anger get out of control or willingly lets the kyuubi take over, there is nothing the kyuubi can do if Naruto sucks up too much Nature energy. Also have said it before but the First Hokage probably did not control ALL of the tailed beasts when he divided them among the villages and the 80 years since has allowed for changes in who controls them.
@mabusaat – Can only suck up as much Nature energy to form chakra as you have Spiritual and Physical energy to balance with it. That is why the kyuubi chakra energy would still be dominant, there is just so much more of it.
@Avatar Sean – Who knows when Naruto will eventually end. I imagine Kishi would like to end it with either Naruto becoming Hokage and/or sacrificing himself to protect the village just before or after attaining that title. However market pressures like folks eventually tiring of the series might affect that goal. And the Akatsuki chakra statue could be just about anything – a moving statue, or maybe a chakra battery for those who know how to harness it are just 2 possibilities.
yes, but naruto has a access amount of the spiritual and physical energy, as noted by characters (i forget where) noting that for his body to resist the evil chakra of the kuubi he must have very strong chakra. Naruto will be able to use a very large amount of natural chakra for that reason, which may give him full control of the kuubi chakra and full controll of himself, at least up to 4 tails transformation.

In my opinion Naruto have so many possibilitys to gain his strength.
1. master senjutsu
2. learn to control kuuibys power and balanced it with natural energy
3. release the full power of the kuuiby with the key which open the seal
4. learn wind jutsus
5. learn a second element
6. combine wind element with the second element and produce a bloodlinelimit
7. use the gift from Itachi whatever it is…maybe for a better control over the kuuiby or to protect against the MS from Sasuke
dosnt anyone think that if naruto uses a shuriken rasengan with the nature chakra hell super screw anyones chakra cells if he gets a shot at sasuke with that then hes out

Believe Ultimatehokage was talking about Naruto combining wind element with a second element he learns at same time to create a third element just like Yamato and Haku, which is a bloodline limit.
To be possible, Naruto would have to meet someone who knew lot more about his father’s or mother’s heritage. Even with that, it would be just too convenient. Jiraiya and Tsunade seemed to know fair bit about his mother and did not mention anything.
Of course, we have no idea how long Uzumaki or Namikaze clan has been around. Either clan could be young enough to have not developed any potential bloodline limit yet. If that were true, then perhaps possessing the kyuubi and/or mastering Sage Arts might be enough of a motivator for Naruto to unlock any potential for a clan limit.
If Kishi wanted, he could have Naruto meet another Uzumaki (like an aunt/uncle or cousin) who settled in a different village and was the first to develop a clan limit and so teach Naruto. To twist the knife so to speak, could find out that the surviving Uzumaki were not nice people and why Kushina was the only one to come to Konoha.

I dunno’. The idea of Naruto having a blood relative to get shoved into the story to save the day seems almost too convenient. I mean, most of the minor characters still haven’t been given a background! I think the story mainly needs some reinforcement to plug up all of the plot-holes that keep popping up. :\
Also, the Kyuubi has (supposedly) only one element: fire. If Naruto somehow uses his Senjutsu to make the Kyuubi chill out and learns to control the Kyuubi chakara, his natural wind element would augment fire element!
Technically there IS a Namikaze bloodline tradition: the ability to make enough clones to populate a small european country. Kushina’s line might have given Naruto water based chakara, though. Weather or not he’ll be able to control a whole new element is completely up in the air, though.
The idea of a relative was just a possibility I tossed out there as a way to fill one of the bigger plot-holes – Naruto’s family heritage. It might just be that Tsunade or someone else already introduced just does not feel it is time yet to tell Naruto about his past.
@Nefarious – Out of curiousity, what are you basing the Namikaze clone tradition off of? The only reason Naruto can summon so many is the kyuubi provides him with enough chakra to do so and still have enough left to be combat effective.
lol for a first Black Character in Naruto at least one thats not much of a BG character they pretty much decided to give him the full racial profile package >> just cuz hes black they assume hes some kind of trash talking ghetto lol how expecting of Kishimoto lol you can easily tell right here the guy doesnt hang around with negroes, interact or even know a thing about them and their culture just goes with what modern media has unfold in the history pages for them X).
Not to mention that Karin is useless unless Kishi wants to create suspense and make her actually be a strong as Sakura after all she is a Sound Nin after all so we’ll never know XP.
Shame on Suigetsu and Juugo they look like weaklings, and MUCH shame on Kishi for not putting in the pages to see what abilities both have asides Suigetsu’s 3 panel sword swings and Juugo’s Turd like transformation >>
As for Naruto its very interesting to see how long it will take for him to overcome this session, not to mention that ive doubt it would be many chapters before Sasuke captures the 8 Tails in away i get the feeling Madara might step in to Personally help or Sasuke will really give it all!
Not to mention that the Cloud Village does have alot of control and more power to have TWO! jinchuurikis under their control! XD man i can really smell a huge conspiracy behind that story! lol and wonder why they didnt mention this concern before in the past like one of those What if Fears about the Cloud Village attacking, More importantly how Orochimaru didnt decided to conquer that VILLAGE instead of blindly attacking Konoha that way he would gain more power XD but oh well guess this is my opinions for the day.
