Chapter 1: The Meeting
POST AUTHOR: IO
[Bob sits in his office staring out his window, straight across to a building near by]
[LadyP knocks on the door and then enters]
LadyP: Bob?
Bob: Yes?
LadyP: Updates on research.
Bob: (while still looking out his window) Continue.
LadyP: Nef and J-Sama have just reported back from Kirigakure. They have all three scrolls you asked for.
Bob: was there any trouble?
LadyP: (kind of upset) what do you think?
Bob: Sorry, stupid question.
LadyP: Well, at least with the help of the Oturan Clan, we were able to complete the mission.
Bob: Good.
LadyP: (a little defeated) Bob?
[He still looks out the window]
LadyP: Robert….
[He turns to face her with a distraught face]
Bob: What happened?
LadyP: (tears begin to swell) Naria………
Bob: (He faces the window again) when?
LadyP: When we left the prison.
Bob: Xaoi?
LadyP: No. It was the others.
Bob: (upset) are you sure?
LadyP: It has been confirmed. (Looking up at Bob) And no, neither I.O. nor Xaoi knows yet.
Bob: Where was Xaoi last sited?
LadyP: Iwagakure.
Bob: Tell no one of this. Send a message for I.O. to report to my office immediately.
LadyP: Yes sir.
[She leaves the room. As she leaves, she wipes away her tears.]
[Bob dabs a tear from his eye while looking at the building across. We soon realize he has been staring at I.O.’s apartment.]
[Switch to I.O.’s apartment. He is sleeping. He is suddenly awoken by a familiar voice. SL is yelling from outside.]
SL: IO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP YOU ***HOLE!!!!!
IO: (very irritated) SHUT UP YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING LOW LIFE!!!!!!!!!!
SL: SAYS THE MAN WHO LIVES BY HIMSELF YOU LOSER!!!
That pain in the ass is Sharigan Leader, better known as SL: irritating as hell, and my best friend and partner. I remember when I first came to Shannaro ten years ago; he was the first one to speak to me. Funny cause his first words were…………………………
SL:*sniff sniff* you smell like salt water. (Smiles) Hi my name is SL!!!!
Those words would be the start of a great friendship.
SL: (still at the window) HURRY UP!!!!! Bob-Kage wants to see you!
IO: (thinking) ‘what does he want?’ Alright!!!! I’m coming.
SL: Alright punk. See you there.
[Meanwhile, not to far away, there are two men who are standing on a cliff over looking Shannaro.]
Man 1: So this is the Almighty Shannaro.
Man 2: that’s what this shitty map says.
Man 1: not nice. I drew that map.
Man 2: well you draw like crap.
Man 1: Well it got us here, didn’t it? So let’s just get to work.
Man 2: (stretches) AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! You got to love that salt water smell.
Man 1: Too bad it won’t set for long. (Smirks) I can’t wait to finally meet the Messiah.
Man 2: that Prat is not the Messiah.
Man 1: Well I guess we will just have to find out. (Looks at Man 2) well then, let’s have some fun.
gj i.o. it was kinda short but it was good can’t wait till the next one
themz a lot of these fanfics today… i’m glad to say we’re the first to do so on Shannaro… though
…anyways… nice post …but i’m missing the graphics…

I agree it was kind of short and some graphics are needed.The story gets interesting.

Nice I.O,this adventures of young I.O sound really cool.I like it but like everybody said please make next part a little bit longer.
And one more thing.It seems there is fanfic fever. Many ppl nowadays doing fanfic. Zep I really like your blogs (especially J-A-T) and yes,you was the first with “10 years later” blogs but you must step up your game unless you want to be beat up in your own game.Come on buddy.
