Hey guys! This is the first chapter of my fanfic called ‘Chosen’. I was on FanFiction.Net the other day reading some stories. The stories that I read were so good that they inspired me to try and write one myself and since I am such a NaruHina fangirl I made it a NaruHina fanfic. When i showed it to some of the members here they said that they loved it so I decided to post it here.
I’d like to take this time to thank all the persons who cheered me on and a HUGE THANK YOU to Bob for allowing this post on here. So here it is everyone, my first fanfic and my first post. Enjoy ^-^

Chapter 1
In a cave hidden deep in the Rice Country…
“So what did you call us for Leader?†The most dangerous S-Rank criminals to ever team up, the Akatsuki were called to a meeting by their leader, Pein.

“It’s new information regarding our target. It seems he will be arriving soon, so we must prepare. Itachi, Kisame, Deidara, Tobi, I am assigning you the duty of collecting the kid.â€
“To think a brat could be more powerful than you, Leader. Hm.â€
“That’s why we need him on our side.â€
“Sempai, what are you talking about?†Tobi said, scratching his head. Deidara scowled: “A stupid brat, you imbecile!â€
“WHAT!? Sempai, you’re having a kid! I never knew! Congrats!”
Deidara’s eye twitched: “You’re gonna pay for that.†A clay snake suddenly wrapped itself around Tobi and proceeded to strangle him.
“Good’†Kisame said, “I want to pay that kyuubi brat back (try saying that 5 times) for our last fight.†A sadistic smirk formed on his face, showing off his shark-like teeth.
“Yes,†Itachi said as he watched Pein trying to stop Deidara from killing Tobi. “And it would be nice to see Naruto-kun again.â€
In Konoha:
“Ah…Ah…AHHCCHOOO!!!” ‘sniff’ “It looks like a pretty girl somewhere out there is talking about me.â€
Here we meet the #1 unpredictable, knuckleheaded loud mouth ninja, Naruto, in an office… sitting quietly, doing paperwork… Wait, what!?
He leaned back on his chair: “It’s peaceful and quiet… AAHHMOOU!!!†He clawed his head, “IT’S BORING!!! But then again…†he stopped and looked at the statues of the previous hokages, “this is what you guys have always wanted, ne?â€
Our favorite blond was now 25 years old, married and the 6th hokage. Tsunade and Kakashi had been training and preparing him for this for many years and when they announced it to the council and village, they were totally with it. Maybe they finally realized that they were wrong about Naruto or maybe they were afraid of Tsunade. I mean come on - pissing Tsunade off is like walking up to a 400lbs grizzly bear and slapping its snout.
Naruto smiled; being Hokage sure was great. There were no more hateful stares from the villagers and they were beginning to respect him now. His friends…they were all jounins, except for Sasuke who was an ANBU. He (Sasuke) finally settled down with, yeah… you guessed it - Sakura. They had two kids and lived in the outskirts of Konoha. Sakura was the head doctor at the Konoha hospital because Tsunade was working as one of the advisors to the Hokage (good thing too, someone has to be there to stop Naruto from making some stupid decisions like declaring a day for ramen). The others were doing well: they had their own teams, although all the kids on Lee’s team all wore spandex and kept talking about ‘the Power of Youth’. Kakashi sensei…he was still a jounin, though he was now working in Interrogation, as he had proven that he could be just as sadistic as Ibiki.

Naruto put his pen on the desk: “Ah…finished!†- he looked outside - it was pitch dark. “Holy crap! It’s that late!? I’d better get home!â€
He made a couple of hand-signs and disappeared in the blink of an eye. He reappeared behind his wife, sneaked up on her and hugged her:
“Gotcha! “
“EEK!! Naruto-kun! You know I hate it when you do that.â€
“Man, it’s good to be home! Hello beautiful.†He kissed his wife, Hinata, who was due in a week with their first child, a son. Naruto was ecstatic and a bit nervous about being a dad and he couldn’t wait for his son to be born. He kneeled on the floor and hugged Hinata’s belly saying, “Hey, little guy. Can’t wait to meet you…Minato.†Hinata smiled at this.
You see, Naruto had found out years ago that the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze, was his father. Kakashi had given him a letter, saying that Minato told him to give it to Naruto ‘when he is at an age where he will understand’. In the letter Minato had explained that Naruto’s mother, Kushina, had died giving birth to him, the same night Kyuubi had attacked the village. He, Minato, had had to choose between doing nothing and dying with his son and the rest of the village, or sacrifice himself to seal the demon into his son, save them all and hope that Naruto would live an almost normal life. So he had decided to seal the demon into his son, knowing that he would never live to see him grow up.
At first Naruto couldn’t believe it. To think that the 4th Hokage was actually his father! He wondered if he could ever forgive his father for what he had to go through. But after he made friends, got married and found out that he was going to be a father, he began to realize how difficult it was for his father to make that decision. So Naruto decided to name his son, Minato, in his father’s honor.
A soft ‘thump’ brought him back to the present: ‘Gasp’ “Look Naruto-kun! He moved!â€
“Yeah I heard it. You know…†he stood up, “you shouldn’t be up on your feet for so long.â€
“You worry too much Naruto-kun. Remember, I’m still a kunochi,†she gave him a punch on the arm; he winced: “I can still kick your butt anytime.†She laughed at the face he made.
“Yeah you’re rightâ€, He said, rubbing his arm, “But I just want you and Minato to be ok.â€
“I’m fine, really†- she gave him a hug, â€Now come on, it’s time for dinner, and no, it’s not ramen.†His smile slid off his face like wet mud. They had a dinner consisting of chicken and veggies (how she weaned him off ramen, we will never know >_>) and went to bed. Hinata quickly fell asleep; Naruto couldn’t. He couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling in his stomach.
He smiled. It had been a while since he had had this feeling - he felt the same way when he went to rescue Sasuke from the clutches of the Akatsuki. He remembered when he and Sasuke had teamed up and defeated Itachi, how he (Naruto) kicked Kisame in the nuts when he (Kisame) tried to rescue Itachi…
“Naruto-kun?†He looked over to find Hinata looking intently at him “Are you ok?â€
“Yeah,†he gave her a squeeze, â€I’m fine. Go back to sleep.†She wasn’t entirely convinced but, she went back to sleep. He sighed and looked up to the ceiling: “Why do I have the feeling something bad is going to happen?â€

Good post it was very funny xD.
but i think u kinda got mixed up there, u noe how u said “akatsuki leader, assigned a new team[itachi, tobi, kisame ......etc] to capture the kid but then later near the end of the post u mentioned about naruto’s flash back wit sasuke and how he defeated Itachi and kisame.
LOl im abit confused, Did Naruto+Sasuke finished off those 2 or not?
