Asuma Sarutobi
Still dead. (that was easy.)
Shikamaru Nara
Shikamaru was made leader of his platoon after the death of his Sensei, and great friend, Asuma. He leaded them to many victorious missions. Witnessing how effective Shikamaru was as a leader, Kakashi made him a general of Konoha. While not in missions, he was given the task to escort a very important person from the Sand through Konoha. This person turned out to be non other than Temari, whom at the time had a very high position in Suna.
During there many times together, Shikamaru and Temari, developed a relationship. Much like Asuma and Kurenai, they would deny such behavior to any one who would imply, and look away while blushing. The only people who did know for a fact were, the rest of team 8, Kurenai and her son Takigi* Yuhi (whom Shikamaru raises as his own), and the sand brothers. Do to their obligation to each others respective village, they decided to put their relationship on hold. But not before they took a walk on the Nara forest, to ’spend some time together.’
Having more time to himself as of late, Shikamaru spend his time playing Shogi and Go, with Takigi. Whom to this date has been the only one to give Shikamaru a challenge, almost beating him in Shogi at one point. When not playing games, Shikamaru is usually looking at clouds with Takigi, and best friend Choji. This is usually cut short, since Choji’s wife has him on a tight leech. This leads to Takigi wanting to train, which is responded with “What a pain, training is so troublesome.” No matter how much Shikamaru complains, he still ends up training Takigi, which he secretly enjoys doing anyway.
Years later, Shikamaru stepped down from his position and gave it to someone else, someone that has far more enthusiasm than himself, or anyone else for that matter. With no obligations to get in their way, Shikamaru and Temari got married. Months later their first born was conceived, Kisaifuzei** , Kisai for short. Shikamaru’s daughter was later given a play buddy in the form of a brother, Shikaisai*** was born a couple of years later. Shikamaru and Temari spent the rest of their days raising their family.
Shikamaru Sidenote – Once his children grew up to be ‘independent’, Shikamaru retired from ninja duty, and spend the rest of his life relaxing and playing Shogi with Takigi, Temari, and Shikaisai. Takigi as stated earlier almost beat him in several instances, and quickly became one of the family (so much so, that Kisai and Shikaisai regarded him as a big brother). Temari would play as a barganing tool (You know, I’ll do this if you do that), and even though she was a good opponent, Shikamaru would always stand on top. His son, Shikaisai, managed to stop his undefeated record, by winning him on his first try. This reminded him of his first game with Asuma. To this day, Shikamaru has yet to beat his son, which both frustrates him, and makes him proud of his son.
*takigi = firewood
** kisai = genius, great talent – fuzei= air, elegance
***shika = deer (duh) – isai = genius, prodigy, man of great talent
Choji Akimichi
Choji found himself bored during Shikamaru’s absence (on his many missions), and eating out was getting old, so he decided to spend more time with his other teammate, Ino. This led to the two eventually falling for each other. They quickly decided to marry each other, however they decided to wait for Shikamaru.
Once Shikamaru came back from his many missions, and thing he had to do, Choji asked him to be his best man. Knowing that Shikamaru might object with it, “being troublesome” and all that, Choji kept talking trying o convince him. Surprisingly Shikamaru interrupted saying, “It would be my pleasure. Why would you even think I’ll object to something as important as my best friends wedding?” Choji smiled with ’something one his eye’, and went with he news to Ino. Once everything was arranged, all of their friends gathered as Kakashi married the two. (I figure that’s the person that does that sort of thing)
About a year, or so, into their marriage, Team Ino and Choji were assigned to a mission, along with Shikamaru and Takigi. This would not only be their thoughest mission, it would also be their last as Team InoShikaCho (for mission see below). During the mission, all team members were severely injured, one almost lost their life. After the mission Ino and Choji decided to retire and spend the rest of their lives happily married. Choji soon opened up his own barbeque restaurant, and helped his wife Ino run her business.
Ino Yamanaka
People tend to change within many years, some get taller and smarter, others get bigger and stronger. In Ino’s case, she ‘developed’ into a fine woman, she has gotten hotter, and more sexy through the years. But not only has her looks changed, she has grown not only as a woman, but as a kunoichi as well. She is not as immature as she used to, and has gotten much more stronger in her ninja abilities, almost surpassing her father.
After the passing of her parents, Ino was inherited with her family’s flower shop. She did a pretty good job running the place, but she couldn’t do it alone. With Choji not doing much, do to Shikamaru being busy all of a sudden, she asked him to help. This lead to them eventually falling in love, and wanting to get married. While the couple were waiting for Shikamaru to be open, Ino realized she still didn’t have a maid of honor. It didn’t take Ino long o decide who was the best candidate for the job, and went to ask Sakura if she would like the role. Sakura happily accepted, and as soon as Shikamaru was open the ceremony took place.
After their recovery from the Konoha hospital, Ino and Choji decided to retire from being ninjas and live their lives in peace. Ino dedicated herself in improving her family’s business and, using her knowledge in business, helped her husband start his barbeque place. The two had many kids, two who would later be placed on a team with Shikamaru’s son, Shikaisai. Leading to the third known generation of team ‘InoShikaCho’.

InoShikaCho -The Final Mission:
During the ending days of the ‘Great Ambush of Konoha War’, Kakashi sent for Shikamaru to lead a five man team on a Class S mission. This team consisted on Shikamaru, Choji, Ino, Takigi (now 10yrs old chunin, and a very fine shinobi), and a random Konoha Jonin (whom I will refer to as KJ, for short), whom heard about the mission, and wanted in. Their mission was to apprehend a group of shinobi that stole something from the Nara Forest. First they had to investigate the scene of the crime, to find out what was stolen, then retrieve the stolen goods.
Once the five man team was set, they followed Shikamaru to the Nara Forest to investigate. Upon arriving, the team witnessed many Nara clansmen wounded all over. The team quickly rushed to one of them, and asked what happened. They were informed of the battle that took place, and the location of a dug site. This locaion sounded shockingly familiar to Shikamaru. The team wen to check it out.
As soon as they arrived, Shikamaru quickly realized where they were. “This is bad, real bad.” – Shikamaru. “What do you mean” – Ino. “Yeah, and what’s with that look in your face?” – Choji. Takigi and KJ looked confused. “This is where I trapped ‘THAT’ person, years ago” – Shikamaru. “NANI?!?!” – both Choji and Ino. “Wait, what’s going on hear?” – KJ. “And, who’s this person your talking about?” – Takigi.
The InoShikaCho trio looked at Takigi, whom as years pass looks like his father more, and wondered if it was a good time to tell him. Before any one could think on what to say, Shikamaru stated. “We have no time to lose, i’ll explain along the way.” The team headed toward a location given to hem by one of the Nara. Along the way, Shikamaru started to explain. “Years ago, we fought a very strong opponent, with a unique ability. HE couldn’t be killed. So, In order to defeat him, I trapped him here. In the Nara forest, in this exact area.”
Shikamaru continued his explanation, describing all of Hidan’s abilities, or at least the ones he knows of. He told them everything, except the fact that he was Asuma’s killer. To this day, all Takigi knows about his father is, who he was and that he died in a mission. But, he didn’t know what mission, and who killed him. But suddenly he had this feeling that Shikamaru wasn’t telling him something, and that this was some how connected with the death of his father.
As soon, as Shikamaru finished his explanation, he started thinking on a game plan. But was interupted by an attack, from shinobie with a certain three lined symbol, a symbol that team 10 had seen before. It was the same simbol that Hidan had on his headband. That explained who dug him up, but it didn’t explain the why. Why would a village care about a Missing-nin? Most imporantly, did they have the same abilities as Hidan? That would be Troublesome indead.

Summary: Asuma still dead. Shikamaru hooks up with Temari (bound to happen), and was a great general for Konoha, retired. Choji owns a bbq restaurant, and helps wife Ino with flower shop. Ino becomes even more hot (some fat guys get all the chicks), and owns her families flower shop. The Ino-Shika-Cho trio are still, and will always be, the best of friends.

Zep: First of all, theres only a couple of people that can call me zeppy, and there not you! And even they haven’t called me that in a while, SO YOU HAVE NO RIGHT!!
Rock Lee: By kill you both, do you mean literally……..

I just will love to see Ino and Choji together, imagine their dinner time, fighting about food. And it will be funny if they have a fat girl with the Akimichi fighting stile, and a skinny boy with Ino’s Kekei Genkai.
Shika is build to be Temari husband, she will rule, and Shika will end up living in Suna, making the alliance even stronger and durable.
Shika will make an awesome sensei!

Hi mart1 – Team Shannaro is not part of the ranking system. It means that the person is an author. Sorry I know no more. Bob made me an author a few weeks ago, so I am new, and I don’t now how he made his decisions.
But keep going with good comments, and send good post. We are a big family the Narutards, no matter the rank.

man its been awhile …ok so not that long only a day. YOu deserve all these comments Zep I wont use the zeppy thing “RESERVED FOR KUNOICHI”.
Really I can’t wait to the next team but I know whatever mission your cooking up for Shikamaru is gonna be a classic. GH, I never really thought of it as a competition, i just felt like I had to write damn good material cause Zep’s was so good.
I guess thats gonna continue cause Zep said he gonna step up his next…..we really need to do a peace together Zep, when these are done.
Working on the next battle I gotta work it all in my head first before I start to write in the meantime I’m working on a softer piece I think you all will enjoy…..**no hints**
