Naruto 10yrs later?

This blog came to mind when people were talking about who’s going to be the next Hokage. This led me to remember when I was in high school and I was asked the oh so famous question, “Where do you see yourself in ten years?” That made me think about the Naruto gang, and where they might end up in ten years. So I asked myself, Where do I see the Naruto peeps in ten years? So here is what I came up with.
First I’m going to do Team 7, next Team 8, then Team 10, followed by Team Gai, and finally the Sand Trio.

Kakashi Hatake:
Kakashi EDIT
Soon after Tsunade dies or steps down as Hokage, Kakashi would take the role as Konoha’s high and mighty. Kakashi demonstates he’s a very efficient leader at many times during his reing. The importance of ‘teamwork’ is scattered throughout Konoha, and Kakashi’s father Sakumo Hatake is later honored as a hero, instead of disgraced. This lead to the creation of a statue of Sakumo near the memorial (you know the rock thingy w/ every dead shinobi’s name on it).
Several years later, a great treat approached Konoha. This treat was so severe, that not even the assistance provided by Suna (Sand Village) was enough to stop it. Kakashi had to step in to protect his fellow villagers, this would ultimately leed to his death. But not before he completely eliminated the treat with, his new jutsu, Sky Lightning Blade/Sora Raikiri.
Kakashi went to the highest place in the mountain were the Hokage faces are carved, and started the three step process to the jutsu that will take his life, while the woman he loves looks in horror.
He started by doing some hand seals, and screamed out Lightning Release: Thunderstorm Downpour/Raiton: Raiu Doshaburi. In the battlefield, a beautiful woman thought to herself “No, not THAT jutsu, please no.” As Kakashi prepared his second form of hand seals, his wife realized what her husband was doing, and screamed at loud as she could,”NO, KAKASHI!!!”, “DON’T DO IT!!!”. With the seals finished, Kakashi uttered “Summon Technique: Thunderbird/Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Sanda-ba-do“, and a eagle-like, white bird sprang out. Kakashi hoped on top and the giant bird flew to the center of the thunderstorm, while Kakashi’s hands were completing his last hand sequence.
Meanwhile, Fukanzu* (Kakashi’s wife’s name) still pleading to her husband, yelled from the top of her lungs, “NO, YOU IDIOT, I’M GOING TO HAVE YOUR SON!!!!!!!!”. But the thundering noise all around prevented Kakashi from hearing the great news. Without any stenght left in her, Fukanzu collapsed to the floor. Once the seal was finished, Kakashi thanked his bird friend and jumped to his heroic doom. His last words, “SKYYYYYY LIGHTNING BLAAAAAAADE/SOOOOOORA RAAAAIIIKIRIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!”
After Kakashi’s death a second statue was erected (he he, erected), this one of himself next to his father, and his son Sakumo (guess who’s he named after) was born. Before his death, Kakashi told the Elders, whom will be stated later, of who he thinks would be a perfect candidate to be his successor.

Naruto Uzumaki:
After Kakashi’s funeral service, the know more mature Naruto was approached by the Elders. He was given the news, he’s reaction was not an expected one. Instead of being ecstatic at the news of his long life dream, or upset at the time and circumstance at which he received the news, Naruto did something nobody though he would ever do. He stood quiet, turned and walked away.
Naruto headed towards the memorial to think, then he went to speak to his father, or should I say his big stone-head of Minato, yeah at this time he knows everything, and I mean everything, who his parents are/were, what Minato did with the whole Kyuubi thing, everything. After several days of deliberating, he finally accepted the role, some can say, he was born to be.
After years of fighting, emotional roller coasters, and deaths of people he has considered family, Naruto has gotten what he has always wanted. He was no longer the ‘Monster’ everyone once saw him as, the idiot he was so often expected to be, or the immature little brat we know and love. Finally, Naruto was recognized by everybody in the land of fire. Our unpredictable shinobi is now a HOKAGE.
Sasuke Uchiha:
Soon after Itachi seized to exist (because he died, whether Sasuke killed him or Itachi died from pushing himself to he limit, is up to Kishi ), Sasuke turned his focus on killing the other man involved in the destruction of his clan, Madara Uchiha. How this happens also depends on Kishi, whether it’s Naruto who kills him, or Sasuke, it doesn’t matter. Sasuke still end up in the same scenario anyways. Having no other purpose Sasuke makes his return to Konoha. But being sill a Missing-nin, Sasuke cannot return to Konoha, and dose not want to, seeing as he has no reason to.
So he settles down in the River Country, the small country between Wind Country and Fire Country, were Gaara’s bijju was extracted. There ’hebi’ disperses to do their own thing, with the exception of Karin, who pretty much stayed against Sasuke‘s will. Sasuke pretty much spend time training on becoming a great Uchiha shinobi., while ignoring the existence of Karin. While training he manages to create many new jutsus, and expand on the ones he has already.
After many rejected attempts of getting Sasuke to like her, Karin parts ways with Sasuke. Leaving him at the middle of the night, leaving a kunai stabbed note at the door. At first Sasuke did not notice, or should I say cared, that Karin was gone. Eventually he noticed the note a his door. It read:
To my beloved Sasuke, I can’t take your rejections any longer, all I wanted to do is give you something that you haven’t had in a very long time. A FAMILY. A chance to renew the Uchiha Clan. Now good luck finding someone that is willing to do that for you. It seems the Uchiha end with you.
After reading the note, Sasuke had realized that he did have another purpose. To renew the Uchiha, but with who Karin was far gone. The only capable person would have to be … . His thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice calling his name. He founds the Hidden Trees Village: Uekigakure, where the new Uchiha clan lives.
Sakura Haruno:
At the wake of Kakashi’s death, the once immature, and one minded Sakura, used her experience as Medical-nin to try and establish a separate school for Shinobi and Kunoichi. This school was to focus at teaching students the way of the Medical-nin, and their importance in a team. She went to see Shishidaime (seventh Hokage), or as we know his as, Naruto, for approval. Naruto didn’t hesitate to approve on Sakura’s request, stating that “if a school like that were to exist before many of their fallen comrades would be here todayâ€. She named the school, Tsunade’s Academy of Medicine, named after her teacher, and role model.
The opening ceremony was one of her happiest days in her life, but this happiness did not last long. As she looked around, most of her friends were enjoying the festivities with their families, even Naruto found someone (not saying who yet, but I‘m pretty sure you guys have a certain some one in mind). Sakura felt alone, and couldn’t help but to think of whatever happened to Sasuke.
A couple of days later, Sakura was summoned by Naruto to report on the progress of her school. Just as she was leaving she overheard a report of some strange bird noises and fire activity coming from the River Country. Sakura disregarded it as it was none of her business, until she heard the name Uchiha. It turns out that the bird noises and fire activiy were none other than, Sasuke’s Chidori and many Katon jutsus. After hearing this, Sakura stormed out of the building and straight to the village exit, but was stopped by a man who turns out to one of Naruto’s Kage bushin using henge no jutsu. *note: Naruto has many Kage bushin patrolling Konoha, for security reasons.*
Naruto’s bushin tell Sakura that he understands how she feels, but it’s too risky for her to go alone. He asks her to wait until a team is put together, and let them investigate. She agrees and goes home, not to sleep, but instead prepare to go to the Land of River at night. Trickily evading all of Konoha security, including Naruto’s many Bushin in disguise, she made her trip to Sasuke. After arriving to the River/Fire border, she realized she has no idea were to start looking, until she notices a dark area far of sight. The closer she got, she noticed a bunch of trees burnt to the crisp, some even looked to be stuck by lightning.
At the distance there’s a cabin, with a familiar figure standing holding a note. “Sasuke-kun!†she cries out, he turns to her and they both smiled.

Summary: Kakashi becomes the sixth Hokage, then dies. Naruto becomes seventh Hokage, and has matured and surpassed his father. Sakura establishes a new school, and Sasuke becomes founder of new village in the Land of River, they start the birth of the new Uchiha clan.

ngreat job. I really like the idea of the what they’re doing ten years from now. I also really liked the reaction of Naruto, it’s something we wouldn’t had expected.
And if Sakura snuck out of the village at night to find Sasuke, does that now make her a missing nin?

It’s going to be explained with the other characters, some sort of cross paths with each others story.

I think it’s great Zep, I can’t wait to hear about the others.I feel like everyone else has come a long way, especially Gaara and Neji. I just think they would come a long way since in the 2 year gap before shippuuden, Garra became kazekage and Neji became a Jounin

Im already working on Team 8, as we speak. But with so many post, you guys have to wait awhile. I have to post when there’s a free space.
I was going to include Sai and Yamato, but ran out of time. I’ll pribably do more after the Sand trio. But only by popular demand.

Nice post. Always wondered like you what the naruto world would be like in the future. Zep can sshinobi become medic nin? I thought they could be. Dan was one. So is Sakura’s school only for Kuniochi or for medic nins in training. Can’t wait for team 8 foture
Naruto’s Kage Bunshin plus Henge… I like that idea. It’s like they are doing a fact-finding mission with under cover ops, and they are all one person!
Zep, you got loads of imagination, i always thought that Sasuke would found a new Uchiha clan in Konoha, not found a new Uchiha clan in Uekigakure ( if he founds Uekigakure it means he becomes the leader of the village ? ( somehow like a Kage …. but not a Kage….a leader))
Kakashi is expected to become Hokage, if Tsunade dies…..and of course Naruto is gonna be Hokage…..it’s his goal in life
Medic Nin’s have a special demeanor, and must have a VERY good control of their chakra. If there’s too much, or too little chakra, they can cut the wrong artery or not effectively fix the right portions internally.
You’d have to be very precise, so not every ninja is cut out to be a Medic.
…….and isn’t Sai a part of Team 7 now ? you should mention him …. in my opinion if he’s going to stay in Konoha, he’s going to be loyal to Naruto (when he becomes Hokage) …. maybe part of Anbu ? (but not ANBU Root)
hey about sasuke i always believed he would come back to konoha and start the uchiha police force just like his father.But under naruto’s authority.
Sai would be part of the elders who determines things. I think he would be perfect for a decision maker because he wouldn’t have emotions to get involved with it, and he would make a great military commander.
This is my first comment Ive ever left on this site, but I gotta tell you.. this 10 years later thing… That was awsome! Good job. I can tell you did alot of thinking and put a lot of creativity into the way the stories overlap and tie in together. It would be great if the actual stories really did keep going up till this point. We can only hope so, but until then, I look forward to the rest of your 10 year later stories w/ the rest of the teams.

Hmm I really like most of it. I am betting Kakashi will unfortunately not be alive by the end of the series but we can hope. I like Sasuke and Sakura getting together, because even though I dont like Sasuke I think Sakura and Naruto should not end up together, mostly because its to cliche.

i wonder how rock lee turned out… and if he learned any new techniques… and if ten ten finally got a personality and became of some use, or just got pregnant and sits idle… and if neji is now in charge of his clan with the nazi on his forehead… and i hope Gai died by now.

I liked this. I never really saw Kakashi as wanting to take the position of Hokage. I think he’d do the same as Jiraiya and find a better suited person. Anyhow, good read.

Its sadly if he didnt marry and had not have children(if he had kids-one of his children would sertanlly become Hokage).He is the coolest ninja in series and he is aparentlly good looking gay- if you remember ep when team 7 tried to see his face-Ayame(Ichiraku Ramen girl) and her father are instantly fall in love in kakashi(i hope I spell that right).Can you please update Kakashi and give him good wife.And i also cant wait to see how rock lee and neji turned out.Keep up the good work,buddy!

It’s almost a traditon of Hokage to die, it is the most honorable thing for a hokage to do, die for his country and family and friends. That is his/her job.
Skikamaru and Shino are much above the level of chunin examiners.

i agree about what you wrote in your blog about where they all would end up happening to them when their adults
Shikaramu would be either an Anbu leader or he would take what is now Shizunes position when Naruto becomes hokage and Shino would be Anbu as well. I think a lot of the character’s would be in Anbu because of their close connection to Naruto.

My version of team 7 10 years later has
Naruto: No he’s not Hokage, Thats because he’s a step above. Yes, thats right he took over all the villages and is now simply the kage. He gained world control by defeating Akatsuki.
Saskue: Unfourtunatly Saskue is dead because his mind was taken over by Madra and forced to attack Naruto.
Sakura is in charge of the survivors of Kohana (which was mostly destroyed in an Akatsuki attack)

Great blog!!! I’m actually working on one about 15 yrs from current story though a different overall focus and a specific event… Pretty much regard thing similarily, my only difference is Sasuke beinga bastard and raping Sakura, leaving her a single Mom… However, yours works too.
i was just thinking, since Naruto will no bee hokage, and Sasuke would most likely be a kage since he founded his village, Naruto can host the chuning exams, and have Sasuke come to the village as a special guest. I don’t think they can turn Sasuke away if he’s a guest.

Anyhow, I don’t think Kakashi would except the role as Hokage… its just not his style especially what happened to his father when he himself failed and was disgraced… and anyway Kakashi probably isn’t really diggin on being the big guy himself… i mean he couldn’t even keep one group together. His team up and left him… Naruto got a new teacher Sakura went straight to the Hokage and Sasuke… well Sasuke isn’t even worth talkin bout sometimes
