Naruto Chapter 393 – Forgive Me…

Geez, these chapters always seem so short, don’t you guys agree? You wait a whole week for the next release and then you finish it in less than a minute… doesn’t seem fair. But then again, we do get a whole week to discuss what had happened. This week’s chapter really surprised me in a lot of ways. But aside from Itachi’s apparent demise, there are also some subtle but very important details that could easily be missed. So if you haven’t already, carefully read it again.
Itachi pushes himself too hard by calling forth Susano’o. He clutches his chest and coughs up blood, The outer armor of the Susanoo disappears, and recognizing this as an opening, Sasuke counterattacks. But of course he has no chakra left so cannot perform jutsus or even use his Sharingan. Sasuke uses the ol’ explosive tags on a kunai trick, but Itachi isn’t going to be stopped by something like that. He uses yet another mystical item called “Yata’s Mirror†to completely block the explosions.
With no options left, Sasuke makes one final leaping charge with his sword but is knocked back immediately by Susanoo‘s shield. Itachi limbers closer to Sasuke who has his back against a wall and nowhere to run. Itachi leans forward and reaches towards Sasuke’s head; but instead of aiming for his eye, he taps Sasuke on the forehead and falls over dead (?), leaving a bloody streak on Sasuke’s bewildered face.
First off, I’ll just say I really didn’t expect Itachi to keel over like that in the end. From the beginning of this long battle, there were two possible outcomes in my mind: 1. Itachi wipes the floor with Sasuke’s ass (my choice) and 2. Sasuke gets his revenge on Itachi (which I thought was unlikely). Never did I imagine Itachi to “defeat†himself by tiring himself to exhaustion. I mean, this is Itachi we’re talking about, I T A C H I ! This isn’t how the most bad-assiest villain in Naruto is supposed to go out. This is the guy who possesses the Tsukuyomi, the Amaterasu and the Susano’o – just having one of those abilities is amazing enough! This is the guy who makes Orochimaru look like a spoiled kid! This is the guy who can get any lady he wants with just a stare! Doesn’t he deserve a more glorious death?
If this is indeed the end of Itachi, I think we are losing quite an important character here. I mean, Itachi has been the driving force behind much of the main plot of Naruto. After all, it is he who made Sasuke chase after him, leading to the chain of events that brings us to here today. Plus, what would the fan girls do now that Mr. Oh-so-shmexy-eyes-weasel-kun has kicked the bucket?
Before I get to the significance of Itachi’s “last†scene, let’s talk about the fate of Orochimaru. If Itachi dies, then the Susunoo could very well disappear with him, along with the Sword of Totsuka in which Orochimaru is now sealed within. However, I really doubt that this is the end of snake boy as he always seems to pop back like a bad infestation of roaches. And even if this Orochimaru is sealed, there’s always Kabuto… Lastly, on page one of this chapter, notice that Kishi specifically put in a panel showing a white snake slithering away into the rocks and then re-emerging on the last page – this must mean something.
Now, saving the best for last: the last scene where Itachi reaches towards Sasuke’s eye, says something indiscernible and ends up tapping him on the forehead. At first this might look like Itachi simply ran out of energy, burnt himself out and can’t even bring himself to collect Sasuke’s eyes anymore. But there’s way more to it here. When I saw this scene, I knew it looked familiar but not because it was a repeat of the genjutsu Itachi used a few chapters ago, but waaaaaayyyy back to the flashback of young Sasuke and Itachi in volume 25. I did a little digging and found what I was thinking of:
Those were taken from chapters 220 and 223. It was a habit of Itachi’s to tease Sasuke with a light tap to his forehead, and he often did so when he wanted to apologize to Sasuke in his own way. Now, the meaning to the last scene in the current chapter has new meaning. I think it’s pretty clear what Itachi said with his last breath now.
Forgive me.
I wrote a blog a while ago (Itachi Uchiha – The Real Murderer? Part 1 Part 2) about why I think Itachi might not be the bad guy we all have been led to believe. And I think now I have more evidence to stick by that theory. If Itachi was really after Sasuke’s eyes, there’s no way he would have let himself collapse when Sasuke was helplessly trapped and ripe for the plucking. Itachi could have either taken Sasuke’s eyes and achieved immortality like Madara or collapse and give in to his injuries. He chose death. Why? My conclusion is based on what Itachi had just done at the end of last chapter. He extracted Orochimaru out of Sasuke and sealed him. I believe this was like Itachi’s parting gift for Sasuke, to rid him of an evil that could haunt him for the rest of his life. Perhaps, for whatever purpose, this was Itachi’s final test for Sasuke, and his act of removing Orochimaru was to tell his little brother that he has grown strong enough to stand on his own and not rely on “borrowed†power. And having satisfied that his brother is now strong enough to take on what is coming ahead, Itachi has fulfilled his goal and dies. To those who ask “why didn’t Itachi just say all this clearly to Sasuke?â€: remember who is watching the battle this entire time.
One more thing I’d like to add that may be a bit farfetched relates to the theory that Orochimaru really does possess the Eight-tailed demon (ie. the eight headed snake last chapter). By sealing away Orochimaru and then dying himself, Itachi could have permanently put a damper on Akatsuki’s plans to collect all nine Bijuus. Okay, that’s it. That was a long one, I hope you guys gained some insight. Rock on Narutards!

Dang, I hope Itachi doesn’t die… If he really is dead, then Kishimoto might as well just give up on drawing the manga and write this: “And then 6 years later, Konohamaru killed the rest of the Akatsuki members with his newest version of the Sexy jutsu…” kukuku

No WAY! Itachi still has to kick Sasuke’s ass, DAMNIT!!! But this is interesting, because Sasuke can’t really take much, if any, credit for Itachi’s death. Itachi, in essence, killed himself. Zetsu might save him, but methinks he’ll just check in for a mid-day snack… And Orochimaru probably did get Genjutsu-ified and is stuck in his eternal acid-trip, but there’s still Kabuto-the-super-creeper. -_-
Yea maybe the snakes r from Kabuto if they r then Sasuke is done for cause he is outta chakra.
yeah bob, i had my theories, but now that ive read this i would have to say that you appear to be right on. i thought it was two snakes that got out, and i was like thats stupid to have 2 of them leave, but now i see it was just one entering and leaving the rubble. also, i did recognize the familiar forehead poke, but i completely forgot it meant “forgive me.” and i think your right about this all being itachi testing and preparing sasuke, like with ridding him of orochimaru, and i think the person he is preparing him for is the one itachi couldn’t beat himself, Madara, or tobi, or whoever he is. Because remember when tobi tells pein after the sasuke-diedara fight that the sharingan is stronger in sasuke than itachi, and itachi probably recognized this too

E.R.Nefarious – i deffinately disagree with your thought that sasuke can’t take any of the credit. who was the one forcing itachi to use all of these powerful jutsus that caused his surmise. and then avoiding or overpowering them, which forced itachi to use more. without sasuke, this whole fight would have never gone this far. he did what he needed to do and what he wanted to do. he caused itachi’s death, and even though he was in a vulnerably state at the end, he still accomplished his goal. so i give sasuke full credit for itachi’s death.

Okay there are some theories that suggest that Madara took Obito’s body and used some jutsu to morph his soul into Obito’s already dead body……THAN……seeing that so many of you want Itachi to still be alive, Zetsu takes Itachi to the Akatsuki hideout…..Madara shares his little secret to Itachi …. and Badaboom!!! Itachi got himself a new body (that is if that technique isn’t only an EMS technique)…..or he could use Pein’s technique ( but from what i know it’s just a Rinnegan technique)….. but i think Itachi died.
And if Itachi is dead….it’s not a complete waste of time…..though the main villain (so far) dies, there emerges another greater evil, it’s MADARA!!!!!!!

I believe Itachi is not dead, yet.If it is , it is so anticlimatic. Itachi was a driving force in how the story line went. I think Sasuke will try to kill Itachi in the next chap but is stopped by Zetsu. Zetsu will finally show us his stuff. Bob is right in that this fight was about Itachi extracting Orochi out of Sassuke. Nobody deserves to have Orochi in them. Sasuke will leave the fight scene and now go after MAdara now. Itachi you have to live.
I think Sasuke is just soooo confused right now. He’s been so bent on hatred and revenge towards Itachi, now that it’s over, what happens? I don’t think Sasuke wanted it to end like this either. I think that he realizes after everything that happened, Itachi actually cared for him … and now that he’s “gone”, he’s either gonna be heartbroken like “why? don’t die” or he’s gonna do a sinister laugh and unleash on Itachi everything he has left. I for one hope he chooses the first option. It would show that he is still “human” and not cold like Orochimaru.
But if Itachi is dead … I guess no one gets to extract Kyuubi from Naruto. Cause that was Itachi’s job.
Why would Itachi even bother to take Sasuke’s eyes when he doesn’t have MS which, as so far been hinted at, means no EMS hence no need for eyes. I think this is all part of Itachi’s plan. This is the guy who became anbu at 13. Hes a frickin genius.
sokka – madara ordered pein to get the kyuubi not too long ago. he was stalled by jaraiya, but now that he is done with jaraiya, he is the one going after the kyuubi.

ok, Iruka’s right, if Sasuke wants to make sure he killed Itachi, he’s going to stab him or somehting, then Zetsu is gonna make his magical appearance and take Itachi’s body and/or fight Sasuke…..but then, that would be pointless……Sasuke won to Itachi just to lose to Zetsu ? …….. ’cause Zetsu could kill him now that Sasuke is out of chakra……and Madara might have given Zetsu specific orders not to attack Sasuke……

DanC1110, no …..man, no….. what would Sasuke do with Itachi’s eyes ? He doesn’t have the Mnagekyou to begin with, so he can’t make his eyes EMS…. and second, he lacks interest in the Mangekyou Sharingan.

If you really consider the theory, this means that Itachi WAS A GOOD GUY. His entire life, and all his evil doing was to TEST his brother. It’s a difficult test, but a test like this cannot simply be told and/or given to someone. Tests like this need to be EXPERIENCED to its fullest to realize why Sasuke’s inner powers are more powerful and better than relying on someone else’s powers. If you really consider the theory, this IS a fitting death for Itachi because it also teaches a really good moral, and it follows an idea of a difficult but at the end a respectable idea of brotherly love.
In addition, this will be a cleansing for Sasuke. His Mascara wearing Emo Ass will now realize what his brother was doing this entire time and he can transform into a inner-power seaking true ninja! Guess what guys? He’s now going to be following HIS way of the NINJA and now living for the sole purpose of killing his brother. In this new era of Sasuke’s life, he will finally understand the powers that can come from self sacrifice for the greater good and the values it can bring.

Guruku you bring up some good points. but I still don’t think Sasuke will change.Itachi fealt guilty for indirectly causing Sasuke to go to Orochi for power and wanted to rid Sasuke of Orochi’s influence. That is why he fought and pulled Orichi out of Sasuke. But Sasuke was always hell bent even before going to Orochi for revenge.Sasuke has other issues deep down inside of him. Sasuke I don’t think has changed. Still has other things to deal with.

What if that little snake that escaped from the susanoo is like a container for Orochimaru’s soul, if he could transplant himself into other bodies then why cant he squeeze into a snake? And if this is the case then if he were to meet up with kabuto and some of his original body cells he might be able to take over Kabuto’s body, or form a new body from skin grafts or somthing who know orochimaru is a crazy guy with lots of sick jutsus

I see where you’re coming from. But I’d like to think about it from a larger perspective. (We’re goin on a bunch of ‘If’s’ Though)
IF Itachi’s master was Madara. IF Itachi didn’t believe in Madara’s evil ways but was forced into seeking power through Madara’s evil ways from seeking Power. He knew that the only way to give a fighting chance for his brother to survive was to find a way to give him the drive in obtaining the necessary power to defeat Madara.
Let us remember that Itachi is a GENIUS ninja who is brilliant as well as powerful. Therefore, he is able to consider all the possibilities and concoct a plan to let Sasuke LIVE through a life to seeking power. At the same time Itachi was aware of Orochimaru AND Madara’s plans (because Orochi was an evil old fart then as well, along with Madara).
Thus, Itachi had planned this idea all along to evoke Sasuke to seek power, and potentially help Itachi of getting Rid of the EVIL power that is Madara. IF Sasuke was able to defeat his brother, then Itachi knew that he would be the only one to stand a chance against Madara. Because it is quite POSSIBLE that Itachi tried to refute Madara’s Evil and failed. Possibly threatened by Madara’s powers and/or the threat of killing his family. And as a revengeful plea of being held against your own will… Itachi massacred his family so Madara wouldn’t have that leverage on Itachi. Itachi could’ve been held against his will; therefore, his only chance of success would be through Sasuke.
The way he said “forgive me” was an INCOGNITO way of telling Sasuke, Forgive me for putting you through this… HOWEVER, it has to be SHOWN to you, and you must LIVE the path of being above the Evil influence. (I.e. Itachi’s Genjutsus on Sasuke when he was younger).
I See this transition as a very plausible thing because It would be symbolic for the storyline. Consider this:
1. Madara wanted to use Itachi to steal his eyes and/or develop the EMS for a new container.
2. This will be EXACTLY the same as Orochimaru seeking power from stealing Sasuke’s body.
Madara using Itachi for power = Orochimaru using Sasuke for power.
That means that there is an evil will and/or presence amongst us all; however, it is OUR ACTIONS that makes us who we are.
Itachi’s final gift to Sasuke was a convoluted but Successful plan to help Sasuke be ABOVE that evil; where Itachi failed to escape that evil presence.
This also follows a theme of Brotherly Love. AND the idea of being your own Ninja with your OWN inner strength. This might be the clarity that Sasuke needs to Follow a NEW path towards the light.
itachi cant be dead hes just ………..taking a little nap i mean he defeated orichimoru,beat kakashi,and killed most of the uchiha clan he cant be dead.even though i knew itachi was a softy nobody can be so cool and pshyco at the same woith out having some regrets or sympathy.and when is orichi going to die i mean come on how many times can that creepy pale pervert escape death the snake means something this isnt the last time we see michale jack….aaaa i mean Orochimaru.

Okay now guys… Let’s remember the creepy Orochimaru, and his ability to just about “NEVER DIE”… now think about Johnny Depp playing that role! ROFLMAO! Oh man… He WOULD do justice for his character.

itachi is probably dead or about to die. let’s face it, naruto is all about passing the torch to the new generation. what the old generation cannot accomplish, the new generation is expected to accomplish. minato could not finish developing the rasengan, so the task was passed on to naruto. jiraiya couldn’t save orochimaru but naruto still has a chance. finally, itachi main goal in life was to surpass madara but now he can’t so the task is left for sasuke.
if sasuke awakens the MS as well as takes his brother’s eyes, i get the feeling that akatsuki might want to recruit him even though he’s likely to refuse.
guruku that is some deep stoff. What you said makes a lot of sence. Will have to wait and see what happens next with Sasuke. I just hope Sasuke doesn’t fall under Madara’s influence. I don’t think though that Sasuke go back to KOnoha. He will go his own way like you said and create a new clan, city. Sasuke still has to control the cursed seal. He has to not use it to become truly strong. The cursed seal will still be present .
nice blog as always Bob. But I don’t think this is the end of Itachi. For one thing, if he was going to die now and he did want to aid Sasuke you’d think he would pass on the sword and shield that Sosanno had.
what i’m really waiting for is the news of itachi’s demise at the hands of sasuke spreading to the shinobi world. this is definitely going to build a lot rep for him. fact is, konoha will want sauke badly for military strength. i’m sure y’all agree with me that right now, sasuke is stronger than kakkashi even without the MS.
my question is, if sasuke returns to konoha in the future, will he be made a jounin or sent to the anbu?
assuming the sword and shield of susanoo are linked to itachi’s sharingan, my guess is that if sasuke takes itachi’s eyes he might be able to possess to obtain the sword, shield and even the mirror.
if itachi wanted to kill sasuke he would have used susanoo earlier. itachi was stronger than sasuke from the begining but he wanted to be sure that he was ready for madara. and he apologized to sasuke for tormenting him with the masacre of the clan(tough he wasn’t the murderer)
we don’t know for sure if itachi was the murder or not. what we know is that itachi had help from madara in taking out the entire clan becasue sasuke mentioned that no matter how strong itachi is, there was no way only him could have handled the uchiha police division
Itachi probably knew that sasuke was the rightful heir to the uchiha clan power of light while Madara has the uchiha clan power of darkness.Itachi probably has to check sasuke abilities so he can get ready for his battle with Madara, but had to get sasuke to use up all his to get Orochimaru out of him to seal him away. If Sasuke has won the battle he probably going to rest his boby so he can get ready for his next target Madara !
i still don’t agree that orochimaru is a jinchuriki. all we saw was orochimaru’s hydra technique which had eight heads not tails. the bijuus are tailed beasts. also if orochimaru had the eight tails in him, the 3rd hokage would have been no match for him instead orochimaru had to summon 2 hokages to the fight because he knew that with his own strength he was no match despite how old the 3rd was.
my guess is that orochimaru’s affinity with snakes is similar to jiraiya’s affinity with toads. and we should not forget the fact that akatsuki is interested in the bijuus. if oro possessed one, they would have wanted to capture him rather, they wanted him dead because he quit their organization after having access to so much classified information. i’m thinking that orochimaru used akatsuki as a means to gain access to special shinobi’s for his experiments. think about it. how else would akatsuki know of jugo. akatsuki presented a good cover for orochimaru to keep his dealings secret.
but i have a question, was orochimaru sealed in the sword or did the sword just put oro in a state of eternal genjutsu. because if orochimaru is in a genjutsu, that means that it would require someone with enough knowledge of the sword to use that sword and consiously unseal him. oro’s still alive but not free.
also, why is it that people with curse seal respond to orochimaru’s chakra? we know that the enzyme that acts as a catalyst for the transformations due to the seal come from jugo. did orochimaru use his cells in creating the seal? it would explain why there are different curse seals. sasuke has the heaven seal while kimimaro had the earth seal.
to me, sasuke is no where ready to take on madara if he struggled this much with itachi. he needs more training at least he should possess the MS.

Bob, you say that Itachi may have given Sasuke a sort of “parting gift” by ridding him of Orochimaru. But don’t you think Itachi knew that if he died then the seal of the Sussano sword would be broken, threfore letting Orochi out of an eternal seal once again. My opinion, Itachi really was out for evil purposes but did have his soft sides, but I think he still would have killed/ taken Sasuke’s eyes if not so weak.

Well like what was mention earlier and the whole time of this fight this is a test for Sasuke and a real reason for Sasuke to go after and seek more power because next week i think we will all find out if this Itachi is a tranfiguration clone with 90% of the true Itachi powers. Just like Itachi used while fighting Naruto and Kakashi and other on there way to finding Gaara.
Think about it everyone Itachi never really went after Sasuke eyes, but just showing him he can touch him and on this last chapter Itachi once again touch Sasuke on the forehead. Did is very strange… Itachi has finally got Sasuke right where he wants him and just flops down dead! He caused Sasuke all of that pain on purpose, did all of that horrible stuff, tried to kill Naruto, helped kill Gaara, murdered the Uchiha clan with Madara, etc., etc., and now here he is letting Sasuke kill him! There has to be more to this!
And about the snake thing… It might just be Orochimaru actually. How many times has Orochimaru “died” but it was a snake clone thingy and he spilt himself in half and does all of this grosse stuff to escape. I don’t think Su’sanoo really sealed Orochimaru. I think he sealed a clone. I think he will come out of hiding (again) and will attack Konoha and Sasuke (again) and Naruto will be the one that kills him for his revenge on Sasuke.

Now for Itachi, he maybe very well dead. But the whole tapping Sasuke’s forehead and saying “Forgive me” makes me think. i have a theory of my own about us finding out itachi’s secrets:
I believe itachi told naruto in the woods all the secrets about the uchiha murders and how itachi is really a good guy. He probably told naruto about the madara situation, and how he is really looking out for sasuke this whole time, and how this fight is his test. Then he told naruto, to tell all of this to sasuke the next time they meet.
So itachi just died, and rather then us finding out all the secrets in the next chapter like you are all saying, sasuke will still believe he just rid the world of a great villain, and probably quite a few chapters from now, when he encounters naruto and the kanoha village, naruto will tell sasuke everything itachi told him to.
if itachi just like woke up after he just collapsed, and started telling sasuke all his secrets, zetsu might here, so he wouldn’t do that, and its why he couldn’t tell him off the bat like Bob said, and two, it would be too anti-climatic for him to just like “die again,” right after hes done speaking
when naruto tells him all this, it will be sasuke’s emotional breakdown, if he believes naruto, and he will begin to question everything. and then he will start his quest toward taking down madara

And Chaos , Sasuke cant “PWN” Zetsu, Zetsu is the only one in Akatsuki who stand a chance against Narutos kyuubi, they say it themselves .. and Zetsu have never lost a fight , and he’s not weak. . Zetsu is a good “analyser” and he smart and he’s very good in fights (i havent seen it but they have talked about him) ..

I’m just saying, if Sasuke can manage to obtain the Mangekyou and turn it into the EMS with Itachi’s eyes, he will have a big advantage in the fight with Madara. His normal sharingan is already about as powerful as Itachi’s Mangekyou, so I can imagine that Sasuke’s mangekyou will be even stronger. Plus, with the EMS, he gets rid of the blindess factor. I just hope he has one of those Uchiha Brand magical pickled eye jars to keep the eyes in until the time is right.

This is a very interesting chapter, maybe Itachi is just tired? maybe hes high and hid chakra got messed up and shit. I had a toilet once AND a bob. Seriously though…Itachi is passed out, he will wake up, tell Sasuke a whole bunch of crap, and somehow convince him he needs MS to defeat Madara. Sasukes new goal would be to get rid of Naruto, force Kakashi into a genjutsu, bring him to Madara. Itachi seems like he may want to help Sasuke, but with Itachi gone there are still 3 Sharingan users. So Itachi will convince Sas he needs the MS, Sas will obtain it in a diffrent way than killing his best friend (Kakashi did it, why cant sask?) then he will bring Kakashi to Madara (because he thinks this is what needs to be done) but Madara being all powerful and evil was planning on this the whole time, he uses Genjutsu to trap them both and force them to unseal madaras father.

what if over the time skip, kakashi obtained his MS by actually doing what is required. what if he did encounter obito, because obito didnt die when the rocks fell on him, but rather than what everyone is saying, that obito is tobi, maybe he just grew up in some other village after recovering. And kakashi encountered him in a mission, and obito turned rouge after his messed up passed, tried to fight kakashi. and not wanting to, but because it was necessary, kakashi beat and killed him. and maybe that was how kakashi got it, and like he reveals during the fight with tobi or something.

Maybe the Madara who helped Itachi kill the Uchiha family was still Obito. In the time from when me may had died and to that night, he could have trained and learned to either cast a genjutsu to make himself look like Madara or used to the transformation jutsu to turn into Madara, and then tricked Itachi.
Lets not forget about Orichimarus forbidden jutsu he used to bring back the 1st and 2nd hokages to fight the 3rd. Im sure he was not the only one who knew this jutsu, considering Madara has been around (apparently) way longer than Orichi. So with that in mind could it be possible Tobi is just a forbidden Jutsu, being controlled like a puppet by Madara somewhere?

I think madara had things planned out for a long time. To Manipulate Itachi into forcing Sasuke into getting stronger. Then Itachi would die, telling Sasuke lots of things to convince him he has good intentions, but also telling him he needs to open the MS the diffrent way (the way kakashi did it) then bring Kakashi to fight Madara. The Madara forces them to both use MS and manipulates it so his father is released.

and jd@home .. i dont think Itachi died, i dont think a shinobi can die by using his jutsus .. or now i forgot, the higher leveled jutsus that they are using hurts them selves, like Spiral Shuriken , when Naruto use it , it hurts him .. Kakashi says that to him , or am i wrong now ? ..Maybe Itachi died by his jutsus or just collapsed because he used to much chakra and forced himself to use more chakra or not lose .. eh idk but as we know , we will get all answers of our questions sooner or later from the manga

yeah, Kakashi tells that to Sasuke when they are training for the Chunin exam.
Kakashi teaches Sasuke the Chidori and they determine that Sasuke only has enough chakra for two uses. Sasuke asks what would happen if he used more and Kakashi says that either death or something else really bad, I forget maybe becoming crippled or like how Rock Lee was after his fight with Gaara.
And about the Sosaano re-animating to defend Itachi against Sasuke’s exploding Kunei. I think that it works not so much that Itachi has to give chakra up but more like how the Sand protects Gaara.
Hey if you look at the last page of the chapter with Itachi lying unconcious and Sasuke standing over him do you notice whats on Itachi’s right arm. Doesn’t that kind of look like the markings Sasuke gets when he goes curse seal lvl 1. I’m thinking either it is just the result of using Amateratsu or maybe the snake infected him with the curse seal and that is what caused Itachi to collapse.
oh. yeah that sounds pretty reasonable too. do you think the 3 powers you receive when you obtain MS are unique to each person that obtains it, or do all of them get the same jutsu?
i know kakashi got some weird time-space teleportation, but hes an exception, hes not an uchiha, and he only has one sharingan.
part of the reason i wonder this is because the MS has a different pattern for everyone we have seen with it so far.

yeah, and I also noticed that when the 8-headed hydra/snake goes back into Sasuke’s body three snakes are present. Two in the air falling down and one on the ground to Sasuke’s left.
ssj sasuke, about your idea of each MS user have unique abilities. It does make sense and I have been wondering about how each MS user has different MS patterned eyes. But I think it would be a little too unrealistic for there to be such a variation of MS abilities when all regular sharingans have the same. I don’t know, right now your guess is as good as mine.
I also have been thinking about some people saying that Itachi doesn’t really want Sasuke’s eyes. I tried to take them and succeeded, at least believed he did but was out-genjutsued by Sasuke. Pretty much Itachi is a very hard person to read and he fascinates me cause we never know what his real deal is.

yeah its hard to tell if the snakes went back into sasuke or if his body was just returing to normal(i believe its the latter).as far as each individual MS user to have different abbilities i think it would be a little too far fetched.i believe that there are more than just the 3 techniques(amaterasu,tsukiyomi, suasnoo) OR maybe the sharing an user can(just like hand signs) change the formatation of the tomoe in their eye and hence perform other jutsu and that this is the reason we have seen all of these different eye patterns ???
i just re watched the manga and those marks do look like the curse marks of the csl1 form.it is a possibility that itachi got cursed,and considering how evryone was saying that sasuke should have been dead its not surprising if that where the case.but i believe that those are the burn marks from the ã”ã†ã‚Šã‚…ã†ã‹ã€€ã®ã€€ã˜ã‚…ã¤ã€€grand dragon fire jutsu .

I think Kishi has already turned our attention to the main villain who has been hiding in the background until now but in weird ways like the Giant statue and the way Itachi was behaving and the attack on Konoha. It becomes clear who the real villian is. Itachi, although a focal point, may not be the real villian (as stated above by Bob).

yeah right, my prediction seems true, sasukes victory, 100%…well, after such transformation, how did sasuke recovers that fast!!!seems that sasuke will maybe affected by allowing gigantic snakes to go out on his back, yet this chapter showed, “oh yeah, forgot chapter 392, its already 393″. Hahaha, maybe the weight of those snakes is negligible…and those are not parts of sasukes body, (well in fact it showed in manga 392 that sasuke let grow from his back the 8 headed snake- hydra, which for me a part of sasuke’s body…a totsuka, a sword with no physical form can seal what it pierces to an eternal dream like genjutsu, yet how come, sasuke never showed any fatigue nor reactions he is affected by such attacks, or maybe thats only for orochimaru…but orochimaru that time is a part of sasuke’s body…i hope the writer must not forget that idea…
so supposedly whatever effects it brought to the snakes or damage to the snakes will give or produce observable effects to sasuke…as what i analyzed with the previous chapter, depletion of chakra would mean weakening of the physical body, as we all know this chakra is ninja’s essential energy…

I don’t think Itachi is really dead, for if he really is Sasuke is going to scream until his lungs explode he may cry for his brother’s death but also because he couldn’t kill him with his own hands and thats definitively going to strike him later on if that happens.
Also it could be that Itachi may not want Sasuke’s eyes for himself but what if Madara is forcing him to do his dirty job and take Sasuke’s eyes, and at the end Itachi may fake of his death to trick the enemy since after all that lil snoop bitch Zetsu was watching them all along im guessing Itachi became aware of him and maybe did all this to trick him at least thats what im guessing at this point.
Itachi probably fake his death to escape the scene or something like that, and about Orochimaru been a Bijuu himself or Jinchuuriki might or might not be but then again that could be a probability but if he really was then the Akatsuki would of killed him long ago to get that power so yeah no chance there.
Also there could be a probability that Orochimaru isn’t really dead it could be that he just made a hasty escape in that snake but yeah its so many surprises coming through, i get the feeling also that Tobi is going to show his true identity and im guessing hes gonna do it in front of Naruto and his group that is of course when Naruto was fighting Tobi he never made no commentaries towards Kakashi as Obito then again he could just be doing it for an act.

this sounds kinda interesting , i mean these theories .. but _Itachi , Akatsuki needs to wait til they have sealed the 8tailed beast because they only have the 8tailed beast and the 9tailed beast (Kyuubi) left to seal , and the 9tailed beast needs to be sealed last so they need to capture the 8tailed beast first.. and catch naruto later , .. but they know its not easy to capture Naruto , because Naruto himself is very strong and he got many guys who will be on his side if Akatsuki goes after Naruto .. but now i forgot something , When Itachi and Kisame went to Konoha when Jiraiya came, they said to naruto like “you are comming with us” or something like that, i forgot about what they said , but didnt they say something like that? why were they after Naruto at that time and not now ? :S .. Or maybe it was to lock in naruto from training and then seal the kyuubi when they were ready, because at that time Naruto were weak and they could easily catch him but now it will be hard .. am i not right ?

Although, I must add Itachi wiping the floor with Sasuke’s ass is more probable and realistic. As to whether or not Itachi is dead. I would have to see the next episode and have it confirmed. Truth is u can never tell. An unexpected ending to this battle. Also, once again having the MS though powerful has some damaging side effects. I never say Itachi’s lost/demise coming at all … but then lets wait on see. Will Zetsu take on Sasuke or let him be?
Say Sasuke took Itachi’s eyes and kept them in a jar until he got MS, and then get EMS. If Sasuke fought Madara and won, what would happen if he took his eyes and used them? Would get a even further advanced form of EMS?

i noticed that jinchuurikis only have one or two physical traits from their demon not all over. maybe a pact with a demon or effect of a justsu like when Tsunade releases her seal for regeneration she ages.

My honest opinion…remember the Forest of Death arc, when Kabuto’s eyes slowly went Bloodshot before Naruto knocked the other Nin out, and Kabuto converted back to normal…think about THAT…

now i found this via google this should disprove the orochi theory of being a jinchuuriki. naruto only tapped into 4 tails and was on an equal field if all nine were out i think orochi would be gone.

maybe Kabuto has the 8th Biyjuu I doubt it though. Actually in reference to the 2 -tailed demon cat, there was a chapter in the mag where Hidan and Kak caught her. Anyways back on topic, ive been thinking all night at what might become of Itachi and my already existing consipiracy theory on how Itachi will Manipulate Sasuke into bringing Kakashi to Madara, open Sas’s MS and attempt to unleash madaras father. But I cant really think of anything to back that up and I certainly cant find it in the mag. Another thing ive been focusing on is how Kakashi got his MS, since he had no bonds to break. Could MS be obtained through hard training? If so, maybe Itachi himself knows the alternative and will tell him for the conspiracy theory. Or maybe itachi really is dead, will Sasuke return to kakashi to learn how to obtain the alternate MS?

Top Ramen -> The 3-Tailed Demon was captured by Kisame, I don’t remember the chapter but there was apicture of him fighting it. They said it was weaker because it didn’t have a host. And their connection doesn’t end with just Kisame’s shark-like features, Isonade’s stomach is called by the same name as Kisame’s sword and both absorb chakra giving Kisame and Isonade a large surplus of chakra.

I belive Pein stated he wants the Bijuus for absolute control? to start wars unopposed so Akatsuki can aquire world domination. Thats right Chaos, you just reminded me that Sasuke doesnt even know Kakashi has the MS. Maybe if Itachi really is defeated, Zetsu will invite him to Akatsuki. Kakashi will be forced to use MS against Tobi, who will return to inform the others (unless zetsu is watching which im sure he will be) Sasuke will find out, abandon Akatsuki (or get orders from) to find and learn from kakashi to further his power. Since we all belive Itachi did not take out the clan single handedly then Sasuke has another person to get revenge on, so he will NEED to seek power in order to take out…what we belive is Madara.

I think Tsunade will be killed by Tobi or an Akatsuki member.But in order to seal them the one that makes the jutsu must give his life and he must be a strong ninja like the 4th.

Gaara must have big problems.He is ot very skillful in hand to hand combat and he has to work hard in order to get his sand controll back.Naruto’s powers do not come from the Kyuubi.He just uses Kyuubis powers too much.
Some of his powers come from Kyuubi, if it wasnt for the massive chakra then he woudent be able to do most of his moves at the level he does them. Sure he could still do them but his battles would be much shorter and he would have to learn to control his chakra use alot better
I think that Gaara is useless without his Bijuu.
