are we setting our selves up for disappoinment by saying that madara has only one eye ? i mean just because he wears an eye patch dosnt necissarily mean he has one eye.look at zarachi kenpachi in BLEACH.i thought for sure he only had one eye until ichigo knocked it off in their fight.as far as the madara/tobi thing is concerned.they’er the same person going by two names,im sure madara only wants a few people(pain,itachi,zetsu)to know who he is.i can give an analogy of this.i was talking to my friend in high school(im in college)and he asked me about a boy named hines.im like hines… who is that.but then he was like i probably know him as jason.oh yeah i know who you are talking about.because they are on the football team a majority of peopole call him by his last name.as far as the obito thing im lost.all the tengu stuff is just theory,but they have mentioned in the chunin exams how the uchiha are descendants of the hyuuga.AND their is an un ignorable amount of tenju in the series(WAY TOO MUCH) im learning japanese and have 4 cousins that live there who come home to america 2 a year.besides me using web resources rosetta stone, im taking japanese at the university i atend.and we talk about the shinto(mythology)all the time.now that i think about it i wonder do the other akatsuki members know about the Rinnengan ? im sure they obviously see it but do they really know how powerful it is ?i wonder did orochimaru know about madara being involved ??

thanks siskin, I appreciate your help, though I never doubted that Madara was still alive in the first place, but luckily i needed to read those chapters closely anyway hehe, I read the research on the Tengu demon too actually, quite compelling and a very good theory, but still only a theory, and that’s all I really hoped to gain from my posts

theories are not facts until proven so, so I guess all I’m saying is that it bothers me when they’re treated as fact

recently I did some research on the significance of the Tomoe, it’s actually quite fascinating, it all ties into Shinto legend and the three plains of existence ruled by the three gods

the tengu demon and hyuga girl was just a theory. It’s based on the reason why the sharingan is different from the byukugan and Kakashi saying the sharingan is an off shoot during the chunnin exam.

The chapters I gave you only went to show that Madara Uchiha is still alive. Also, during the massacre of the uchiha clan, Itachi said that if Sasuke could awaken his MS, then he’d be the third one that could use it. So there are three (at least) surviving uchiha’s and then Kakashi has an uchiha eye.

actually, I went and looked and I didn’t mention anything about tengu. You’ll find some good reading material if you google it. But it’s all theory.

I hate to say it but i read both of those chapters you were talking about Siskin and don’t see anything pertaining to the Tengu demon and a Hyuga girl spawning the first Sharingan.
I’ll just read through the remaining chapters to get caught up and hopefully will find out where the talk about the history of the Sharingan.

thx siskin, and sorry anaujiram, i was just having a shitty day and probably took it more personally than it was meant to be, and it is true i haven’t finished all the chapters from the beginning of naruto shippuuden up to this point(though I have finished most of them), thus my acting stupid about the Uchiha and demon thing, sorry for being a surly jerk

It is weird that Orochimaru held onto his old shriveled hand with the ring on it, I’m starting to think all the rings might be required to harness the power of the tailed beasts. However I’m guessing Kabuto has the ring now, as he was the one who stuck around and made use of whatever was left after Orochimaru was “slain”.

Just a few stuff to add,

madara ask the kyuubi to help him defeat his father, he just barely was able to beat him but he didnt have the power to kill him,

itachi didnt use susanoo on the uchiha clan, reason i think this is because everything was in perfect order , doesnt it trap everything it hit in a genjutsu, so there would be nothing left, no houses, no bodies ,

orochimarus hand was cut off by itachi, but orochimaru was able to keep the ring,

what if akatsuki just wanted back the ring from orochimaru, cause the rings hold some special purpose other than fashion jewellery
