Naruto Manga chapter 385 – Secret of the Mangekyou

An incredible chapter that is full of revelations about the secrets of the Uchiha clan! Surprisingly, Sasuke’s question to Itachi is not about why he killed the entire clan, but who the third surviving Uchiha was. As powerful as his brother is, Sasuke knows that Itachi by himself could not have single-handedly overwhelmed the entire Uchiha military police; he must have had an accomplice, and the third Sharingan user must be that person.
As many of the regulars have already predicted, the third Sharingan user is indeed Madara Uchiha. He was one of Konoha’s founding fathers and, according to Itachi, was the first person to awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan. Itachi calls Madara his teacher and accomplice, and also claims that he is immortal. By gaining the powers of the Mangekyou, Madara was able to tame the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, Kyuubi. This was what Sasuke had read on the tablets in the secret meeting room.
The true purpose of the Sharingan involves obtaining the Mangekyou and being able to tame the most powerful tailed-beast. But such power comes at a high price: from the day the Mangekyou is activated, the user’s eyes slowly begin to go blind – the process is quickened the more the Mangekyou is used. Despite this drawback, Madara used this power to control Kyuubi like it was his personal pet. Jiraiya’s prediction was right, it is now certain that Madara was the one responsible for the attack on Konoha by Kyuubi at the beginning of the Naruto series. Madara’s true motivation behind this act is still unclear at this point – but Minato temporarily stopped his plans when he sealed Kyuubi into his own son, Naruto. But now it seems Madara is back to finish what he started.
Not surprisingly, Sasuke didn’t really manage to stab Itachi through the chest – it was yet another genjutsu. However, Sasuke claims to be able to see through all of Itachi’s genjutsus, and proves it by launching an attack on the real Itachi with a Chidori blade that just misses his head. Itachi notices that Sasuke still hasn’t achieved the Mangekyou Sharingan, and activates his own to see just how confident Sasuke is about his abilities. As Zetsu observes from hiding, the battle is now being fought purely with genjutsu. Can Sasuke defeat Itachi without his own Mangekyou Sharingan or does he have a trump card up his sleeve?

If Madara really did help Itachi with the Uchiha massacre, then he might have had Obito’s body a lot earlier than we suspected.

It’s possible that the thrid survivor is Tobi, but that isn’t exactly true. . . He kinda’ got smashed. Could it be Shisui, since there wasn’t any physical evidence of his death? The problem is that it could be anybody, because of the Uchiha’s constant use of Genjutsu! Anybody can fake their death with a Sharingan. /-_-\
Ahh. So there’s a FINAL secret to the Sharingan that only Madara has discovered. That must be the reason he formed Akatsuki. It must have something to do with controlling the other Bijuu as well.
thats what i want to know.. what this final secret is. i mean the uchiha clan was madara’s clan he formed it even. But he was willing to destroy it for his plan.
That could mean that the fight between the First Hokage and Madara was over control of the kyuubi, since they both could handle the spazzy bastard! Huzzah! Things become even more complex! @o@;;
Well this chapter puts to rest all who was thinking that Sasuke was really fighting Itachi in real time. But it was just like i thought this encounter between Sasuke and Itachi is a time that Itachi can teach him about the true plans of Madara and himself which he is not finished yet. And as u can see Itachi really haven’t any offenive move to try to kill Sasuke and that’s because Madara needs him to live and help them in some kinda way,so i guess we have to hang on until next week to hear more about Madara’s plans.
I hope Kishi doesn’t cut away to another battle next week. I really hope he doesn’t cover the Kisame snake gang battle… argg….
Sasuke must have been expecting the MS so he must be ready…
and I guess that kinda goes to show that Itachi was just a manipulative jerk from the beginning…
lol i totally agree.. i have zero desire to see how the kisame/suigetsu fight ends, at least not right now.

Or… maybe with the revelation that Itachi isn’t who Sasuke thought he was… kinda makes Sasuke have to kill his image of his brother… which will result in releasing the MS. (kinda like the Sharingan appeared during Sasuke’s battle with Haku)
Did you notice how he wanted to believe that it was all a lie… but now Itachi has confirmed it for him and he’s going to be able to get it.
That’s my guess but I was wrong about Itachi really getting stabbed in the last chapter.
And I think it has been confirmed that there are 8 tomoes behind the chair. Kishimoto makes it a point to even draw it behind Sasuke’s head when he’s back there.

i like this fight and all but after this fight i want to see wat pain does to team 7, since tobi is alredy fighting them i want to see how pain will help cause pain is awesome!!

Haha! Even though zetsu hsnt done much he has to be one of the strongest because he was madara/tobi’s boss before tobi joined the akatsuki.
I dunno’. Zetsu doesn’t seem to have the ability to make serious decisions. How can somebody take over the world if they’re constantly bickering with themself? o_O I just think he’s gonna’ have some horribly grotesque ability to eat people in a creative fashion. xP Blegh.

What I want to know is when Itachi was prompted to become an evil brother and when? Or could he have just been trained too hard and eventually snapped?
Don’t underestimate Zetsu! If Kishimoto’s making him so misterious, then he has to be extremly important. Just look at TOM, Itachi & Pain – the more mysterious they are, the stronger they are. So Zetsu has to be very strong.
Also, Zetsu is a plant & plants can grow very old, so it’s possible Madara & Zetsu go way back.

Maybe Tobi is in fact Madara, a reincarnated Madara. Perhaps he planned all along to pass his sharingan on to Kakashi for some ultimate purpose. Just a thought.
perhaps sometime in the future, tobi and kakashi will have a massive fight, tobi gets the upper hand and knocks kakashi out then steals his sharingan and gets someone to transplant it into him and then his original eye becomes a MS eye like the stolen one, seems that the MS is stronger than the normal sharingan…time can only tell
i don’t think this will be the only fight between itatchi and sasuke, i think itatchi will give him a good beating and tell him to come to him when he gets the MS.

I think the strongest eye is the rinnegan but the Sharingan is unique among the three doujutsus in that it can be developed beyond its initial use. So i think that the sharingan is the strongest once fully developed out of the 3.
Also, I noticed that we only see one of Madara’s eyes in every portrayal of him. Be it the statue at the Valley of the End or in this last chapter (his left eye), or as Tobi/Madara where we only see his right eye. Just a thought.
Does any1 here thinking about the seal that Madara made to seal up his is demon father and thats the reason he need the 3rd MS eye.
Or he can only control 3 tail beast at any giving time so he need 3 MS the make his goals?????????

Yeah.. Sharingan is quite powerful. Rinnegan can’t counter Sharingan’s MS. That’s why it is TOBI/OBITO/MADARA the one giving orders. And PAIN was only a powerful sub.. I also think SASUKE was ready for his brother’s MS. This will be a very good reason for us to wait till the next chapter.
I think Sasuke definitely has something to counter the Mangekyou. He has been very precise in his moves up to this showdown with Itachi, Sasuke wouldn’t rush into it without knowing he can beat Itachi’s Mangekyou.

I think there is no sense in calling tobi TOM anymore, even if he is madara in obito’s body or something like that, he calls himself madara and everybody calls him madara too, so…

Does it mean that besides Pein there’s another superior than the Kyubi’s power?……. it’s getting better and it seems the fight soon will be really interesting i can’t wait to see this ’till the end.

Yes. Naruto’s kinda’ lacking in streingth right now, but that just leads right back to the “under dog” theme that Wonderful-J brought up earlier. ^_^ Unlike Sasuke, Sakura, Neji and other crazy fast learning ninja, Naruto is taking more time. To be honest, it just makes him more realistic and people tend to not like that in Anime. XD

Naruto is already almost like a genius. Think about it, he was able to do something not even the Fourth (before he died at least) or Kakashi was able to do and developed the RasenShuriken. And he did it in a short amount of time. Sure you might say he “cheated” because he relied on his Kage Bunshins. But if you classify Sasuke, who got to where he is mostly by relying on his sharingan, a genius, then isn’t Naruto also one?
Naruto using his kagebunshins to create a jutsu is actually a sign of a deeper talent: Multitasking! ^_^ It’s one thing to control six body’s with the Rinnegan, but to control a myriad of clones without any enabling ability is totally different! And wouldn’t you say there are different kinds of geniuses?
i think naruto is and sasuke also rely’s on the curse mark aswell just as naruto rely’s on the kyuubi when things get tough.

all his attacks are short range thats why he didnt stand a chance against deidara
but no genjutsu moves
so he has a weakness for everybody in the whole story.

1. I think that the Ms can be used to control the kyubi like saskue controled manda with genjutsu and that Madra used the kyubiis chakra to help him become immortal
2. I think that because of the raniengans power pein can have multiple bodies through a combination of clone/reanimation/body posesion jutsu. I add the reanimation part because jariya recognizes all of peins bodies as people he has defeated (hence his “attonement”)
3.All of the kick ass jutsu hurt the user. EX MS, wind rasengan, curse seal, Deidras bombs, the deamon cloak, reincarnation and Tsunades regeneration jutsu

I can’t wait for the next comic of Naruto, it’s going to be pretty awsome. Sasuke reminds me of someone from a differnt anime called the Prince of Tennis. You guys should read the comic of Prince of Tennis it’s a very great anime if you want to read it go to “One Manga.com” there’s other anime comics also.

Nef, im well aware of that. But now we know that Madara really is Madara. I was patiently waiting for at least a smallest hint that Madara used Obitos body, but even this chapter didn’t give anything. Thats why i’m saying – this theory is less likely than the one saying Tsunade is a male shinobi. So officially from now on i will never use TOM abbreviation! Peace ;].

Im Guessing Itachi still holds alot of hidden abilities in his persona but i don’t think he had any help annihilating his entire clan i think he did that himself either way its kind of creepy to imagine Madara been the main villain of the series like Naraku lol but doesn’t show it until later on and i even guessing only someone like Madara would know how to use the Sharingan to 100% that i wouldn’t be surprise if Madara created Orochimaru with his Sharingan lol as well as Taming the Kyuubi’s power or maybe any Tailed Spirit Beast power its both surprising and scary.
And im probably guessing Tobi can either be Obito brought to life from the dead by Madara himself and put him under a spell or is a creation of Madara himself and acts as his seeing eye dog lol either way theres still so much to know lol.

Mart, that third part about all the best jutsus being detrimental to the user is a good observation. The soul sealing jutsu is also on that list, the one that the 4th and 3rd used (for the kyuubi and against orochimaru).

The question is. If Naruto learns the secret to controlling the kyuubi’s chakra, will he be able to prevent Madara from controlling him when he is possessed by the nine tails power? Because only then will Naruto be able to defeat Madara, Pein.

Wow i didn’t know anything was going to happen to Kakashi. What if MAdara could actually control other sharingan users…wouldn’t that mean he could also control Kakashi since he has one. The only other thing i could think of is that Kakashi dies, but that’s not too fun.
The other thing is, why do they need THREE Mangekyo users there’s definetly a secret there but i also believe the three dots of the sharingan may come into play as well…anyhow im very anxious to see what happens to Kakashi

In my opinion I don’t think Orochimaru is actually dead cause Orochimaru is supposed to be a saanin so he wouldn’t die without a good/bloody fight. As for Kabuto, wasn’t he replacing his body parts with orochimaru’s or somethin like that…yeah so kabuto is doin some freaky expiriment of his own to brgin back Orochi i think
secondly, I guess you can say Itachi might actually be stronger than Pein, I mean if the sharigan is not actually a human ocular jutsu,
but a demonic ocular jutsu, wouldn’t that mean that pein might actually be outclassed???
Well I don’t really know if you can compare them unless they actually fought cause Pein seems almost invincible wil=th 6 bodies (well 5 now) but Itachi has the sharingan which, as you said, is a demon ocular justu…but who knows, i don’t really think that has too much to do with the story

All I’ve seen for the 2nd Shippuden movie is teaser trailers with Naruto and Sasuke running around in shadowy fog.
Also, I think the only way for Naruto to defeat Madara/Pein/Sasuke or anybody really is to not rely on his Kyuubi chakra. I mean its pretty clear that while it gives him more strength and abilities, all of the main villains have the means to nutralize it and even use it against him.
I just had a thought, let me know what ya’ll think. The only Naruto and the Kyuubi are gonna be able to take all of these enemies out is if they completely team up. What i mean to say is that the Uchihas can control the Kyuubi like he is a pet but they can’t control Naruto. So what Naruto and the Kyuubi need to do is have the Kyuubi chakra go past whatever tails they need and the kyuubi allow Naruto to still have conciousness that way the Sharingan can’t control them.

my other theory: Naruto is gonna make a demon-like cloak out of his own chakra and not the kyuubi’s. That way he technically go kyuubi without being controlled by the sharingan
then he’s gonna summon a toad that even j-sama couldnt summon because he never had enough chakra

I don’t think the MS is stronger than the Rinnengan…c’mon the Rinnengan was what helped create all the modern jutsu and the other doujutsu techniques…Finally they don’t list Kakashi as being an MS user bcuz nobody outside of team 7 knos…and if they do they’re dead…all of them Itachi, Madara, and Sasuke are completely clueless as to Kakashi’s full power…now if only he had the bloodline along wit the eye…and in what manner did he achieve the MS w/o killin anyone

first of all who did kakashi kill to get the Mangekyo?I think madara may have some kind of orichimoru jutsu to inhabit others body.thats probably where orichimoru got it from cause didnt he use to partners with tobi/madara before he quit the akatsuki.which would make sense cause in 383 tobi stated he couldnt be killed……
No Tobi and Orochimaru were never partners at any time cause Orochimaru left way before Tobi even joined…and Kakashi didn’t have to kill anyone to get the Mangekyou cause he’s not an Uchiha so he found his own way…which may mean Sasuke found his own way to obtain it as well…

I must say, it’s not lookin too good for Naruto and the gang. I mean they have to stop Madara, (an immortal that was one of the founding fathers of Konaho), Pein (who has the strongest eye jutsu allowing him to have multiple bodies), Sasuke (who doesn’t really care if he kills any of his former comrades, and one of the strongest in the series), and the rest of Akatsuki (a bunch of S-ranked ninja). If you ask me, there’s no way to stop all of that.
I like your “fresh set of eyes” idea, Quazzie. It makes sense that Itachi would keep Sasuke alive as a fall-back-one-up-mushroom person.
Also, another thought: Records show that The First Hokage could control most of the Bijuu, but we now know that Madara had use of the Kyuubi (possibly at the cost of his own eye sight). If The First and Madara got into the equivelant of a summoning-pokemon-battle, Madara could have lost both his eye sight. It would explain how the First won.
True, but if Madara is supposedly blind then where is he right now, honestly the only explanation to that is that he has control over another sharingan user (Tobi), or Madara’s sight is slowly coming back (thus the only one eye showin)
But all signs point to Tobi being Obito, I mean he wears all those clothes and that is most likey because his body was crushed and he now has one ugly lookin body. And he wears an orange mask, and Obito had orange goggles. Also the hair style and the the fact that only his right eye is showing and that’s Obito’s only good eye.
Another unexplained event was why Madara wanted to slaughter his entire clan. If he indeed needs to possess an Uchiha body such as Obito to remain immortal or to regain his Sharingan eyes, then wouldn’t wiping out his own clan drastically reduce his choices? There must have been another reason why the clan was wiped out, and Itachi’s “testing of his abilities” explanation can’t be the whole story.
Yeah I completely agree and also, why the Uchiha clan out of all of Konoha, maybe in order to gain control over the Kyuubi he needed to prove his strength. It might not have necessarily been Madara that wanted the entire clan dead. For the sake of simplifying things, couldn’t Itachi have just wanted to be special? And Itachi gives the impression that he resented his clan for whatever their real purpose is. That easilly could have been his motive.

i really think that naruto’s father was(is) the greatest ninja because he had fought with the kyuubi without any of those sharingan eyes and sealed the demon. kakashi is, if you think a better ninja than the uchihas because he hasen’t got the bloodline ability, but there he was able to awake his MS, his only weakness is that he lacks in chakra. and finally naruto will be the greatest ninja ever because he has the infinite chakra of the kyuubi and he has got the potential to surpass his father.(we know that from kakashi, who is an inteligent shinobi)

This goes way back to ShikamaruIsTheMan’s comment about old pictures of Madara. I’ve also been thinking maybe there’s something about the fact that he keeps the other eye covered. And now the covered eye is the one he used. Maybe he just had the MS in one eye like Kakashi and was saving the other eye for a rainy day …. There might be something to it though.
Sasuke didn’t use the chidori on the real Itachi because there still in Genjutsu land because on the next page Zetsu says they haven’t moved.
The coloring of the picture of Itachi’s MS at the end of the chapter appears in the same color as the flash backs which makes me wonder if it is a flash back and he isn’t really going to use it. But I’m kinda on the fence about that… I guess we’d have to wait until next week.
Kakashi said last time that only a sharingan user could gaze into the MS. And since Sasuke has the blood line thing going for him maybe it wouldn’t effect him… that much.
I hope we flash over to Konoha vs. Tobi battle really quick to see that Tobi kicked their butts… I wonder if Tobi will say something about Fighting Naruto’s Father… AND wouldn’t it be interesting because Obito was Minato’s student so it’s that teacher student battle thing again.

I think we can’t forget how Pein works when fighting. Just as he uses bodies that Jiriaya had faced before, and Jiriaya was by far one of his toughest opponents, so maybe Tobi/Madara is doing the same thing in anticipation to facing Kakashi, who would be the toughest opponent for him out of all the leaf ninja.
Tobi is madara. Madara unleashed the Kyuubi on Konoha and the 4th battled the kyuubi.
Why do you think he was late? My guess is that he was battling Madara and Madara had to unleash the Kyuubi because the 4th was so awesome.
Tobi is also thought to be Obito… think of the set up for Kakashi fighting Obito and also that Minato fought Obito during the Kyuubi Attack.
That would fit into the student fighting the teacher theme that has reoccurred a few times. It would also make the battle between Kakashi and Tobi that much more emotional besides the fact that Tobi wants to capture Naruto for the Kyuubi. It just adds a whole extra dimension for why things are the way they are in the Naruverse.
I think it is safe to say that whatever Itachi says, in terms of his beliefs, is the same ideas Madara/Tobi believes seeing as he is Itachi’s teacher and accomplice. So the whole thing about their motive for killing the whole clan can go back to the flashbacks we saw during the NAruto/Sasuke fight. That the clan was weak and pathetic and stuff.
Also, i was thinking, maybe Tobi/Madara isn’t using Obito’s body but rather is Shisui, Itachi’s friend who “committed Suicide.” I was just rewatching the anime and it said he was known as “Shisui the Mirage,” now doesn’t that sound more like what Tobi does with not being able to be injured or whatever.

Remember Itachi’s words to Sasuke when he saw him after he slaughtered his clan. He wanted to measure the capacity of his ‘container’. Maybe his container is for madara and madara wanted to test his container. Also he said the only thing that would make sparing Sasuke’s life meaningful is if he were to master the mangekyou sharingan. Maybe to be a container you must possess the mangekyou sharingan. Wow everyone got some nice viewpoints ,but i have to still disagree with the TOM theory. But it does make more since for Shisui to have his body to be a host for Madara if he needed a body to do that or just maybe by Madara being merged with kyuubi to fight Sojobo he was able to gain immortality like the Kyuubi and to farther that thought when Naruto and Sasuke battle which is on Tv now Sasuke killed Naruto with a death blow twice once with the Chidori thought the chest and another with a power bomb off the mountain and yet Naruto still lives so in many way Naruto have gain immortality also just as Madara has so that would make Naruto battle against Madara be pretty interesting, but like many has said Naruto is going to have to learn jutsu on his own beside using the Kyuubi chakra as his main source of strenght.

Hello guys, long time reader, first time commenter recently joined. Nice to meet you all.
The only times we have heard the idea of a container is with Itachi and Orochimaru. Talking about Kimmimaru and Sasuke as his containers. So Ninetails, I think you are definitely on to something there. And also, I don’t think that just because we only ever see Tobi’s right eye means that he is obviously Obito’s body, its a good way of throwing us all of course but it doesn’t mean that he only has one eye, i mean look at Kakashi, he covers his sharingan eye so that he doesn’t have to use it all the time, maybe Madara/Tobi is doing the same cause as we now know that MS can make you go blind. I think it is very possible that Shisui was the container of Madara when he “committed suicide” because they even said that he and Itachi were like brothers (or as we can think of it as mentor/mentee, student/teacher, or accomplices as Itachi says he and Madara are.).
Also, Sasuke has yet to kill anybody but Orochimaru, which he didn’t even really do yet. Maybe if/when he kills itachi he will awaken the MS. Just a thought.
After seeing Shippuuden 43 last weekend and hearing Orochimaru identify the sword he has in his mouth as being a “Kusanagi sword” is more scary to me, because it would surely raise the theory is Orochimaru a Jinchuriki with the Eight-tail beast Orochi inside him which i don’t want to believe? Had anyone noticed that point?

The Kyuubi gives NAruto the ability to heal faster, not neccessarily the abilty to live forever so NAruto can still die it’s just that it’s hard for him to die because he can heal really fats (kinda like Wolverine)
And who knows maybe that Sushi guy is the host of Madara and not Obito. It would be a good twist considering most of us have come to a co nclusion that Obito is Tobi. But i still think it would be better if Obito was Tobi/Madara cause then we would get to see a good battle between old friends (Obito and Kakashi) and, it does make the most sense so far.
Well, the Kusanagi sword is the one that Sasuke uses.
I went and checked “Kusanagi” out and I came across “Amaterasu” which was the Japanese Sun Goddess and her siblings were Susanoo, the Storm deity, and Tsukuyomi, the Moon deity. I think we already talked about this but it definitely sheds light on the Sharingan. The Amaterasu is the MS ability that Itachi uses to create that “Black Fire” that Jiriaya sealed cause it broke out of the Toad belly. Tsukuyomi is the MS Jutsu that Itachi uses on Sasuke and Kakashi and it always shows a moom and then the sky turns red to signify that Itachi brought the person he is attacking to another dimension.
Oh and I.O, your theories are good and everything but they’re too straightforward. Well “Quazzie” the reason i think that is that the power bomb blow i think really killed Naruto but by having Kyuubi inside him he was able to comeback to life just like Akatsuki member Hidan was.

Yeah, naruto can’t really be hurt because even when he is knocked unconscious the Kyuubi takes over and heals him so that he doesn’t die either. So as long as the Kyuubi is allowed to act, Naruto will pretty much never die. I think that is the whole paradox of Naruto, the Kyuubi, and the Uchiha.
No the Kyuubi would die with him, thats why the Kyuubi “protects” Naruto since he is sealed in Naruto their fates are intertwined.
I was also thinking about how they said that the Kyuubi was like Madara’s Pet, and history kinda repeated itself. Naruto acts very much like Sasuke’s pet in that he has unflinching loyalty to Sasuke and right now his entire purpose is to “save” Sasuke from evil.
“Shika” u might have a point with the healing thing but the reason i question that is the point that be immortal is the being able to live forever in any shape or form. And u think about when old lady Chio from the Sand Village was explaining the reason why extracting the bijuu from its host will kill the host because no matter what happens to the host as long as he is bonded with the Bijuu the bijuu will protect him. But she never mention that Gaara can die of old age and the bijuu will be released, plus the old man who had i think 5 tail bijuu inside him it never mention how old he was so that’s just so food for thought?

see thats just it!! That whole “Impossible Task” list given to Naruto is what drives this anime!! Will he be able to do this?? how is gonna do that?? it is Naruto overcoming the Norms of this anime, and defying the odds that keeps viewers watching. if you kill him, there is no Naruto. he will win. even if orochimaru was to try to take over sasuke body its very unlikely because he tried this attempt on itachi and he fail so he decided to go after sasuke because he werent stronge enough but during 3 years when sasuke goes train with orochimaru, sasuke became to stronge and orochimaru fails to take his body
I think Kabutorochimaru will come back after the whole Akutsuki thing blows over or near the end of it and he’ll jump on one side or the other.

Itachi must know that Kakashi had gotten the MS, otherwise how would Kakashi know that Itachi’s eyesite was going downhill. Remember when they fought in the Rescue Gaara Story Arc, Kakashi asked Itachi how bad his eyesite was.

i think the reason why itachi and madara wiped out the uchiha clan to make sure that there is no one in the clan that can possibly counteract the effects of mangekyou sharingan…plus, the two of them took out the whole clan, which means that if the clan wasn’t wiped out, then there would be a hindrance in accomplishing madara’s goals…

Well if u 2 are talking about the second meeting between Itachi and Kakashi well that not the real Itachi in was a clone that only had 30% of his power so it wasn’t able to open MS that’s why Kakashi knew it wasn’t the real Itachi because he used the grand fireball when Itachi doesn’t use it because its a basic Uchiha move. Like the first meeting between Itachi and Kakashi Itachi told him he will never be able to beat him because no matter how far he developes his one Sharingan eye ,because he don’t have the bloodline of a Uchiha.
I think the leaf ninjas are going to be beaten badly. Kakashi is going to teleport them all to safety(after found out who’s behind the mask). Then kakashi realize the only way to win this fight is to (sacrfice) give his sharingan eye to Naruto cause he has more charkara to use it. In the same process, Kyuubi can’t be cotrol by other Sharingan users and Naruto can control Kyuubi himself. Just a thought.

I like Naruto as the Series , but my bone with Naruto is that he doesn’t listens to the people who trys to help him the most and also is one minded instead of open minded u know what i mean ,and also he doesn’t seems to take training serious like other on the series like Neji,Sasuke,Lee and others.
hey I’m new to commenting but ive been reading along with the comments and such for a while now…I think the only reason that Itachi left saske alive, and told him to come back when he had gotten the mengekyou was so that he could kill saskue and steal his eyes, so that itachi would have a fresh set of eyes that hadnt gone blind from the over use of mengekyou
maybe itachi can’t turn off his eyes because he stole them from someone else… kinda like Kakashi.
But that doesn’t make any sense that he would want Sasuke to get the MS because it would just make his eyes harder to take from him. Kakashi was able to level up Obito’s eye so in theory Itachi would also be able to do the same with Sasuke. Good idea frank… but my guess is that the plans for Sasuke haven’t even begun to unfoil for us to make sense of yet.

I also find it troubling the way Itachi is portrayed… It makes sense though. I guess whatever way it ended up… he’s not as mysterious and so we won’t be able to hold him up as being so cool in our imaginations.

what if madara took over itachis best friends body(i forget the name) and itachi and madara faked the suicide so they could get people off there tracks cause itachis best friend was supose to be stronger than itachi he could of been the CHOSEN ONE
JCM- Then the question we have to ask is: How did Itachi get the MS without killing his best friend?
I agree with one of the previous ideas that Itachi was Madara’s second choice for a vessel and leaving Sasuke alive is a back-up. In addition, according to Scrubby’s blog, they need a few people with MS to unlock the secrets of the Sharingan.

I would NEVER forgive the series if they simply “let” Tobi take Kakashi’s eye. At the same time, i do not believe Sasuke would accept any help from Kakashi.
If Tobi were to get the eye from Kakashi, then Kakashi would have to learn something incredibly valuable to help the team. In addition to that, It sounds too much like Asuma, and it doesn’t sound like they would repeat something like this in the Manga. I don’t think Kakashi’s time is due just yet. He is a valued character and according to “I.O.’s” Unwritten Laws of Naruto, NO GOOD GUY CAN GET KILLED EVERY 100 mangas!
Hey guys I read a 386 SPOILER… (don’t continue to read if you dont want to be spoiled)
MADARA had a brother. Like Sasuke and Itachi. They compete with each other. Together with Madara’s “brother” they activated Mangekyou Sharingan. But something terrible happened to MADARA’s eye. He was blinded by the MS. He think of such a way then…poof.. something evil went through his mind.. then he took his brother’s eyes then Madara had eternal MS. This may probably the reason why ITACHI wants Sasuke to activate his MS. Since ITACHI’s sight is failing… I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE OR WHAT… LETS JUST WAIT FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER…(sorry for my grammar)
I doubt there is going to be THAT much information revealed in one manga. It might take 4 weeks for that entire piece to be revealed. (regarding spoiler)

Actually I haven’t read the theorie, what is it about.
What if to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan you didn’t have to kill your best freind. Because according to some theories Itachi’s best firend may have been the “chosen one” and is now the vessel for Madara so that means Itachi didn’t kill him and he obtained the MS some other way. Also, who did Madara kill to get his original MS eyes (not the second pair he got from killing his bro). And Kakashi has also obtained his without killing his best friend (although I know he is not an Uchiha so the same rules may not apply).
i ALSO THINK kAKASHI LOOSING HIS sHARINGAN MAY NOT BE A BAD IDEA…AFTER ALL kISHIMOTO SAID SOMETHING BIG WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO kAKASHI
