Episode 22: Chunin Challenge: Rock Lee vs. Sasuke!

Rock Lee challenges Sasuke to a duel before the official matches are supposed to start. Naruto attempts to fight Lee himself but is easily beaten by Rock Lee’s speedy attacks. Sasuke does no better and has to resort to his Sharingans. However, Lee soon reveals that his speed is neither ninjutsu or genjutsu, but purely taijutsu in nature. Lee is about to use a finishing move on Sasuke when a large tortoise appears to stop him. Lee’s sensei, Might Gai then shows up and lectures Lee about disobeying the rules. They leave to do training, but the entire incident has left Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura more pumped up than ever about their upcoming matches.
