Shannaro!!! Facelift

Some may have noticed (how could you not :P ), but I just switched to a new theme for this blog. The major problem I found with the old one was that everything seemed squashed together and there was very little room to put new features. This new theme makes better use of space and I love having two sidebars. Also added is a new feature to contribute posts without going off the blog. It’s no different than writing in a comment box, so hopefully people won’t be as intimidated and make use of it.

    Unformal? Not sure quite what you mean. All the functions of the old theme are here, but the font’s a little different and the color scheme too. I think it’s all the white that turns ppl off, I still tweakinng around to bring back the blue background I liked.

    ??? Not sure what you mean, it should be on all pages in the blog now. Maybe you were here while I was experimenting earlier with the code. I had to turn the color on and off to see the effects of my changes.

    The good news is I’ll be switching the banner pics every once in awhile, so you won’t have to stare at it forever.

    I stole one from a friend, which she still hasn’t forgiven me for… Others I learned on my own. The first post I did was mostly from memory, which is probably why it got so sloppy looking! ^_^;;

    ペインのカメレオンが上から自来也に向かって飛び降りてくる。
    Peins’ chamelon flies towards jiraiya
    ペインのカメレオンが首の後ろに生えているトゲのついた尾のようなもので自来也に攻撃する。
    The spike thing behind the chamelon’s neck srouts a tail which attacks jiraiya
    その攻撃を二又の武器でガードするケンさん。
    ペインのカメレオン跳ね返り再び壁に張り付く。
    ケンさん「速いっすな」
    ken guards with something or other.
    chamelon bbounces back and sticks to the wall
    Ken “oh he’s fast!”
    今度はカメレオンの舌が高速でケンさんに向かってくる。
    next the C’s tongue attacks
    自来也「！」
    ケンさん再び二又の武器でガード。
    Ken Guards again with his weapon
    ケンさん「ぐぬ！なんという威力…！」
    Ken “OMG!!! what power!”
    舌の威力をなんとか殺したケンさん。
    the attack is somehow killed by ken
    舌が戻っていく。
    the tongue returns
    ペイン「今の攻撃も受けきられたか…」
    Pein ‘he stopped that attack huh?’
    ペイン(普通なら吹き飛ばされるものを…)
    pein ‘usually it would have sent him flying’
    ペイン「大した安定力だ」
    pein ‘ he has great stability’
    自来也「フン、お前に褒められたくなど無いわ」
    ji “you’re not nostalgic at all are you?”
    上を見上げる自来也。
    Ji looks up
    自来也(ここを上まで登れば…)
    Ji (if i can just get up here)
    自来也「ケンさん」
    Ji: Ken!
    ケンさん「まかしとき」
    Ken “leave it to me”
    壁を登り始めるケンさん。
    Ken starts climbing the wall
    ペイン(何をする気かは知らないが…　無駄だ)
    Pein, I don’t know what he’s trying to do but….it won’t work!
    ペイン(雷遁・雷迅弾！！)
    Pein Raidon lightning bullet
    カメレオンの尾の蛇の口から雷迅弾が発射される。
    The chamelon’s tail’s snake mouth emits a shot (after charging up his lazer)
    自来也「！」
    Ji: !
    螺旋丸で受ける自来也。
    Ji stops it with the rasengan
    ペイン「フン…」
    pein: hrmph
    カメレオンは連続で雷迅弾を乱れ打ち。
    The chamelson fires more shots
    自来也「ぐっ…」
    Ji: gu!
    両手で螺旋丸を作って一つ一つ相殺していく自来也。
    He makes a rasengan in both hands and stops the shots
    両手につけているものがはがれる。
    The thing on his hands comes off
    自来也「このままじゃワシがもたん。ケンさん！」
    Ji: I can’t carry on like this Ken!
    ケンさん「おし、来た」
    Ken : right! here we go!
    ケンさん(土遁・大土球！！)
    Ken DOTON big earth ball
    口から巨大な土の球を出すケンさん。
    Kern spits out a huge ball of earth
    自来也(風遁・烈風波！！)
    Ji : FUUTON burining wind wave!
    土の球に向かって両手を前に突き出す自来也。
    jiraiya heads for the ball and sticks his hands out
    すると球が凄い勢いで宙を飛びペインの所へ。
    and so the ball heads towards the earth with a huge amount of enrgy (spirit ball?)
    ペイン「！！」
    pain !!
    土の球がぶつかって破裂。
    it hits and the earth cracks
    その間にケンさん天井まで登る。
    Ten climbs up to the celling (celling? was there one?)

    ケンさん「殺ったんすかな？」
    Ken: did we get him?
    自来也「いや…　どうやらそうではないらしい」
    Ji: no it doesnt look like it.
    自来也(長門とあの口寄せ獣、それに小南の姿が無くなっとる…。何処へ消えた…？)
    ji: (nagato and his summons…also konan they have all vanished..why?)
    突如ケンさんの顔面に何かがクリーンヒット。
    something hits ken in the face
    ケンさん「！？」
    ken !
    自来也「な…！」
    ji: wha..!
    バランスを崩し落ちていくケンさん。
    Ken loses balance and falls off
    ケンさんにつかまる自来也。
    Jiraiya grabs ken
    が…、壁と壁に手足を掛け何とか落ちずに途中で堪えるケンさん。
    but…ken stops half way through by jamming his legs and arms between the walls
    自来也「く…」
    ji: ku…
    自来也(一体どうなっとる…)
    ji: (WTF is going on?)
    再びケンさんの頭に何かがクリーンヒット。
    again ken is hit
    再び落ちていくケンさん。
    again he falls
    しかしケンさん間一髪のところで地面に土のクッションを作る。
    He makes an earth cushion just before he hits the ground
    自来也地面に落ちる寸前でチャクラを足に集中して壁に立つ。
    just before falling jiraiya uses chakra to stick to ken
    ケンさん、背中から土のクッションへ落ちる。
    ken falls on his back, onto the cushion
    ケンさん「くっ…。奴は中々強いっすな」
    ken: ku …he’s strong
    呆れたような顔でケンさんを見る自来也。
    Jiraiya looks at ken with a pissed off face
    ケンさん「ん…？」
    ken: what?
    自来也「ん？　じゃないのぉ！何背中から落ちとるんじゃ！そのままお前の背中に乗っとったらワ シは今頃ペチ ャンコだっただろうのぉ！」
    Ji: don’t what me! why’d you fall on your back. The guy on your back would just be squashed flat
    ケンさん「すまねぇ。自分は不器用なもんで…」
    ken: Sorry, I’m clumsy
    突如半透明のペインとカメレオンと小南が現れる。
    pein and his bug and konan appear, semi-transparent
    自来也・ケンさん「！」
    ji -ken :!!
    ペイン「打たれ強い…　が、その程度か？　先生」
    pein: you can take hits but…is that all you’ve got sensei?
    自来也「フン、心配せんでも今からは本気でやってやる」
    ji: don’t worry about me, I’ll get serious from now.
    目つきが険しくなる自来也。
    Ji’s eyes get serious

    煽り　　自来也の”本気”とは一体…！？
    just what is Ji’s ’serious’..
