Naruto Shippuuden Episode 22-23 – One Hour Special: Summer Battle
This week’s episode is an one hour special, I guess to make up for all those missed episodes the last couple of weeks. We’re finally getting to the part of the fight I looked forward to the most: Sakura going all out and fighting Sasori and his puppet hand to hand. In my opinion, this is the only fight in the entire Naruto series (part I
and II) where Sakura truly shines and gets to lay the smack down on her enemies. She takes everything Sasori has to throw at her and then retaliates with the brute strength she gained from studying under Tsunade.
The episode also shows a segment about Sasori’s past. His parents were supposedly killed by the White Fang of Konoha (Kakashi’s father) during the time when the Great Ninja War was still going on. Chiyo is 
Sasori’s grandma and took up raising the orphan. Seeing how how lonely her grandson was, Chiyo introduced Sasori to puppet jutsu. Sasori picked up the technique instantly and made puppets of his father and mother. What disturbs me is that Chiyo had said during the battle that the puppets of Sasori’s mother and father were human puppets. Human puppets, like the Third Kazekage puppet, are made using dead human bodies. But how did young Sasori manage to get his hands on the bodies of his dead parents all those years ago? But
anyways, I guess the blame for Sasori becoming what he is today lies in Chiyo teaching him puppet jutsu or maybe the White Fang for killing his parents.
The theme of young kids losing their parents and the growing up into twisted psychos seems to be a reoccurring theme in Naruto. Orochimaru lost both his parents, Sasuke’s parents were killed by Itachi (though I don’t consider Sasuke a true psycho), Gaara’s mother died and his father saw him as only a weapon, and now 
Sasori. The only exception is Naruto, but you can argue that he never “lost” his parents since he never had any to begin with. So, I guess if all the bad guys got hugs when they were little, then there won’t be any evil in the world.
Ah, there I go again with my rantings and theories. Next week: Sakura Deals Out More Pain with her Fists of Fury. Same Bat time, same Bat channel.

sasori is powerful and he only used two peppets so far
sasori is the #1 peppet master
the episode was awsome. the fighting scene in the end of episode 13 sakura just knock a huge chunk of iron sand right back at him
now i understand y the 3rd kazekage was the strongest
deidara still has a plan after he didnt have enough clay to finish them off
its says 23 and 24 here but it says 22 and 23 at the home page witch is it
its 22 and 23 and the next episode will be 24

deidara weakness is that he has to wait until he can use another clay explodsion
season one of shippuden is long. when its going to be season 2 so we can finally see a new opening and ending.

a better team up would be kakashi and shikamaru
shikamaru with the brains and kakashi with the skiils
i wonder can sakur summon a slug since her sensai can?

shikamaru and kakashi would make a good team up and bad partners so who cares
sasori still has 14 more peppets
shino has the most avantage against peppets and since he grew up then i think he should be the one that fights sasori and defeat him
Is there a website I can go to and buy these episode, I’d download them but I’m in IRAQ, so I’d like to know have these episodes come out on DVD and is there a website I can go to to buy them.
Wow Iraq, that’s a long ways away. All Naruto Shippuuden episodes released so far are fansubs so there aren’t any officially DVDs out yet. Unlike the first Naruto series, Naruto Shippuuden hasn’t been licensed outside of Japan yet.
There are probably people selling these episodes on DVD on eBay or other auction sites, but I’m against it because they’re making a profit off the hard work of fansubbers. But it’s a personal choice I guess. It’s gonna be a while before any official DVDs come out.
I won’t lie I’m in Iraq and I can’t download them off the internet cause the internet is so slow and it takes days just to see one episode. And I just want to buy the up coming one. Anyone besides Bob Uchiha who can help me.
This battle good but i just want to know how a chunin and an ld lady can beat an S-rank ninja who beat a kazekage
