Sasuke falls backwards from being pierced by the Eight-Tail
Jinchuuriki’s multiple swords. The Eight-Tails
gives him no chance to escape and closes in to finish Sasuke off. But
Suigetsu rushes to Sasuke’s aid and blocks the
Eight-Tail’s sword strike. However, the Jinchuuriki
continues to push his
attack and channels lightning chakra into his
blade to cut straight through Suigetsu’s blade; Suigetsu is
helpless because he is naturally weak against lightning attacks.Sasuke acts quickly and uses his own chakra to charge Suigetsu’s blade in order to counter the Jinchuuriki’s chakra. Jugo uses this opportunity to sneak behind their opponent and deliver a severe punch to his head. Karin hurries over and pulls Sasuke to safety. Suigetsu snaps off the Jinchuuriki’s blade by twisting his own sword. And Jugo finishes him off by using his pressurized punch. 
Karin examines Sasuke and realizes his wounds are
life threatening. She pulls up her left sleeve to reveal
dozens of bite marks along the length of her arm. She tells
Sasuke to hurry and bite her. Sasuke complies, causing Karin to yelp in
pain. 
Instantly, Sasuke’s wounds are closed and
healed. Sasuke recovers and thanks the exhausted Karin for
saving his life.The Eight-Tails Jinchuuriki managed to escape Jugo’s attack nearly unscathed. Suigetsu yells back to Sasuke that all three of them need to attack their opponent at once. He says that this Jinchurriki is insanely strong and that they need to fight to kill instead of worrying about not killing him. Meanwhile, the Jinchuuriki is also analyzing his attackers. He is surprised that Sasuke survived his last attack and figures he must have used his 
body to defuse the lightning
he infused into his swords. He is also amused by the fact
that Karin has the ability to heal others by letting them suck on her
chakra.Elsewhere, Naruto continues his nature energy training with Fukasaku at Myouboku Mountain. Things are not going very smoothly because Naruto continues to transform into a frog every time Fukasaku sprays the nature energy infused oil on him. Naruto complains about the pain of getting hit by Fukasaku’s club every time he begins to transform, but Fukasaku tells him that Jiraiya never complained like this before. Naruto comes up with 
the idea of increasing his speed
of training by using shadow clones. Fukasaku tells him
it’s risky because even if one clone succeeds in transforming
into a frog, Naruto will share that experience and be transformed as
well. He tells Naruto to use no more than three clones or
else his club cannot keep up. Naruto makes his clones, but when Fukasaku sprays on the oil all four Narutos begin transforming at once. Fukasaku is forced to whack all of them, and yells to Naruto that there’s no way he can keep this up. Naruto’s face is all swelled up from Fukasaku’s blows. When Fukasaku looks back, he mistakes Naruto’s disfigured face for him transforming into a frog again and whacks him unnecessarily.  Naruto groans in pain and says he didn’t think it was this difficult just to train to feel nature’s energy. Fukasaku tells Naruto that not just anyone can do this training - there is something special about both Naruto and Jiraiya that makes them ideal candidates to learn Senjutsu. 
The special trait required to draw in
nature’s energy is to possess enormous amounts of
chakra. Furthermore, Fukasaku mentions that to endure the
training, the person must be brave and never give up. Naruto
is pumped up after hearing this and dives into the pool of oil to
continue his training to become a Sage.
Meanwhile, Team Hawk continues their desperate
battle against the Eight-Tails. Suigetsu deliberately takes
on the Jinchuuriki’s punch in order to trap his arm as he
liquefies his body. He then tells Sauske to use his Chidori
to stun them both. Even though Suigetsu gets electrocuted
himself, his water form acts as a natural conduit to carry the current
