MenuCHAPTER 390 - The Final Jutsu 
The sudden appearance of Amaterasu’s black flames
engulfing his own fire jutsu catches Sasuke by surprise. But
as the black mass rush towards Sasuke, Itachi closes his right eye and
the Amaterasu disappears as suddenly as it appeared.Sasuke is sweating, he knows there is very little he can do to entirely evade Itachi’s field of vision. The Amaterasu can burn anything it comes into contact with, even another fire. On top of that, it converges on wherever Itachi  focuses
his vision upon, so it also travels extremely fast. Sasuke
must choose his next moves wisely or it‘s all over.
In an instant, Sasuke makes a quick dash to the side, but Itachi
immediately opens his eye to track him. A trail of
Amaterasu’s black flames follows Sasuke as he desperately
attempts to escape. But even with his speed, Sasuke could not
outrun Itachi’s Mangekyou Sharingan. The
Amaterasu catches up with Sasuke; he tries to shield
himself with his Cursed Seal wing-like appendage but the black flames
quickly consume it and moves on to Sasuke himself. Sasuke
cries in pain as the Amaterasu begins disintegrating his body. In mere seconds, it is over. To save Sasuke’s eyes, Itachi shut off the Amaterasu before it can completely consume Sasuke’s body. He left part of the upper torso in tact, but the rest of the body had been completely reduced to ashes. Itachi walks over and bends down to retrieve Sasuke’s remains, but upon his touch the whole thing falls apart into dust revealing a large crack in the ceiling. 
Below, in the chamber where they first fought in, an
unharmed Sasuke prepares to launch his counterattack. Sasuke
used a replacement technique he obtained from Orochimaru to regenerate
himself while leaving a body replacement to fool Itachi. But
in order for it to work,
Sasuke had to wait until Itachi’s Amaterasu hit
him. While being burned alive, Sasuke managed to use Chidori
to carve a large hole in the ceiling to allow him to sneak away
unnoticed. Sasuke now has Itachi exactly where he wants him,
and after having to use the Amaterasu twice in a row, Itachi is in no
condition to properly defend himself.  Sasuke
transforms into his Cursed Seal level two form and performs a jutsu
called Grand Dragon Fire. Multiple giant fireballs shaped
like dragon heads punch through the roof, forcing Itachi to jump to
safety. But in Itachi’s weakened state, one of the
dragon heads manage to severely burn his right arm.
The force of Sauske’s jutsu causes a large portion
of the roof to collapse, allowing Sasuke and Itachi to have a clear
line of sight to each other. Itachi’s right eye can
no longer sustain the Sharingan and changes back, but now it appears to
be damaged to the point where it might be blind and useless.
Sasuke tells Itachi that he
suspects using the Amaterasu must have taken a lot out of
him. Sasuke then tries stand up, but he is weak himself and
has to rescind his level two state. Even so, Sasuke announces
that he will be using his final jutsu, but Itachi tells him to stop
trying to act tough. The Sharingan can see the flow of
chakra, so Itachi knows Sasuke has depleted his reserves. He
tells Sasuke that he knows the replacement technique he just used was
one of Orochimaru’s moves, but although it is extremely hard
to detect, it also costs a massive amount of chakra.
