MenuCHAPTER 387 - Reality 
Sasuke has proclaimed that this will be the end for Itachi,
but his older brother responds that because Sasuke does not possess the
Mangekuou Sharingan, he does not stand a chance. Sasuke grows
alert as he sees Itachi moves his left arm into his sleeve in
preparation for battle. Calmly, Sasuke unravels the bandages
around his wrists revealing two weapon summoning seals on the bottom of
each wrist. He remembers Itachi once
telling him that he is weak
because he lacked hatred. Now, standing again before his
hated brother, Sasuke states that his hatred for Itachi will make his
dream of killing him a reality.
Without hesitation, Sasuke crosses his hands to
tap the seal on each wrist, summoning two shurikens
instantly. They are thrown rapidly at Itachi who responds by
intercepting Sasuke’s projectiles with two of his own
shurikens. This first clash of metal against metal was just
the beginning. In the next
instant, a flurry of shurikens is
exchanged between the brothers. Dozens of the metallic stars
smash in midair as each Uchiha brother attempts to find an opening in
the other’s barrage. But it is in vain as each can
read the other’s attacks using his Sharingan.The rain of shurikens is stopped as suddenly as it began and both brothers rush toward each other to engage in melee fighting. A stalemate seems to be reached as each restrains the other’s weapon-wielding hand. However, a Shadow Clone of Itachi  appears
and launches kunai at Sasuke at close
range. Sasuke is impressed that Itachi was able to form the
hand seals for a clone during the chaos of their shuriken
duel. He protects himself by
morphing a snake from his own
body to block the kunai attack. Itachi is forced to back off
as the snake attempts to strike at him.Sasuke wastes no time and goes on the offensive again. The snake uncoils to reveal Sasuke readying to throw a large windmill shuriken. He unleashes it at one of the Itachis who attempts to block it with his kunai. However, Sasuke had charged the windmill shuriken with his Chidori and it slices through the kunai and slashes deep into Itachi. But as this Itachi falls, he 
disperses into a flock of black crows, indicating that
this one was a clone. As the crows surround Sasuke, they
temporarily block his view of the real Itachi. Itachi sees an
opening and uses body flicker to instantly appear next to
Sasuke. There is no time for
Sasuke to defend against
Itachi’s attack and a powerful kick sends him flying
backwards
and smashing into a wall. Sasuke makes an effort to form
Chidori, but Itachi restrains his hand, stamps down on his foot and
knocks the air out of him with a hard punch to the gut.
