MenuCHAPTER 365 - Chasing Itachi 
In the youth hostel, Sasuke is still sleeping while Jugo and
Suigetsu are also resting nearby. Suigetsu complains about
Karin taking too long to do her errands. Somewhere in town,
Karin is heading back with a bag of supplies. She has already
made plans to have her way with Sasuke that night and schemes to knock
Jugo and Suigetsu out cold. Karin sprays some perfume on
herself but then suddenly is alerted by something.Some miles away, the Konoha team is tracking Sasuke’s scent with  Kiba leading the
way. Naruto asks Kiba on how it’s going, but Kiba
tells Naruto to keep quiet and let him concentrate. Karin
stands still in the middle of the street and concentrates to pinpoint
the strong chakra signatures she has detected.  She concludes that they are definitely getting
closer and that there is a large volume of chakra, indicating there are
several of them. She also senses that one of them is not
human and could possibly be a dog. This leads Karin to deduce
that whoever their pursuers are, they are tracking them by scent.Back at the hostel, Suigetsu tells Jugo he is going to head out to find Karin. But as he reaches for the door, Karin arrives back and kicks it down, crushing Suigetsu underneath. She shouts  at Sasuke to wake him up and informs him they are
being followed. Sasuke tells everyone they will run for it
and orders Jugo to write down the locations of every Akatsuki hideout
he knows about on the map. Later, Sasuke is on his feet
again and meets everyone at the gates. He notes that
absorbing Orochimaru’s abilities have really increased his
healing ability and presumes it to be the white snake’s
power. Karin suggests that they could try to ambush their
pursuers since they may have information on Itachi. Based on
their numbers, Sasuke concludes that they must be Konoha shinobi
because Akatsuki only travels in two-man teams. Both he and
Suigetsu agree that it would be a waste of time to bother with the Leaf
ninja. Their main objective is finding Itachi and the worst
scenario will be that Karin, Suigetsu and Jugo will  have to fight off the Leaf ninja while Sasuke
pursues Itachi alone. Sasuke pulls out a map and says that,
for now, they will move as Team Hebi and head to the various Akatsuki
locations Jugo pointed out.Everyone begins to head out, but Karin holds Jugo back for a second. He asks him to use a few of his bird friends to help do one more job. Karin pulls out the clothes Sasuke wore in his last battle  which are dirty and drenched in his
sweat. Jugo asks her why she is keeping Sasuke’s
torn up clothes, but Karin suddenly gets defensive and tells him to
mind his own business. She cuts off pieces of the torn
clothes and tells Jugo they can use them to lead the pursuers from
Konoha off track since they bear Sasuke’s scent. As Kiba and the others
continue to travel through the treetops, he suddenly notices that
something has changed. He alerts Naruto that Sasuke has
started to move. Naruto thinks Sasuke must be going for
Itachi, but Kiba tells him that Sasuke’s scent is being split
up in several directions. Kakashi believes that
Sasuke’s team must have noticed them closing in on them and
suspects one of them is an extremely talented chakra sensing shinobi. If the Konoha
team splits up and move too far, their radios will be out of
range. Plus, Kiba is the only one with a nose sensitive
enough to track Sasuke’s faint scent. Naruto
declares that their only choice is to search everywhere at
once. He performs his Mass Shadow Clones jutsu and
sends his clones in every direction. Meanwhile, Sasuke and his
team have arrived at the first Akatsuki hideout which appears to be a
cavern. He tells everyone to wait outside and wait for his
orders while he checks it out by himself.One of the Narutos is racing through the forest when a noise alerts him. He drops to the ground and takes cover. Perched above Naruto in a tree is a bird with a piece of Sasuke’s cloth tied to its leg. A shape hidden in shadows moves from behind a tree, and from the shade two Sharingan eyes stare back at Naruto. At first Naruto believes it to be Sasuke, but it is Itachi Uchiha who steps out into the open. He knows Naruto is present and openly declares to him to show himself.
