Kisame advises Itachi that they should get out of
the
rain. He comments that they will need to get in touch with
the
leader soon and scoops up his prize on his sword. Kisame had
single handedly defeated the Four-Tails beast demon. Itachi
says
that the Jinchuuriki, an elderly man, looks like he’s
dying. Kisame tells him he doesn’t know how tough
the
Jinchuuriki is because he didn’t fight him
directly. Unlike
the other Jinchuuriki, he uses  Youton
jutsu or elemental fusion techniques, and was very difficult to defeat.
Kisame admits that it was his choice to go alone and asks Itachi if he
wants him to “half-kill” his target too.
Itachi tells
him not to say such things. Kisame wants to catch Itachi’s
Jinchuuriki too so that they can get a break soon, but Itachi says
there is no need to rush such things.The two decide to find a place to rest and then contact the leader. Later, as they walk through the forest, Kisame begins to talk about capturing the Kyuubi. The leader had told them that the sealing statue is fragile and needs to maintain its balance; that is why the Kyuubi must be  sealed
last. Since they need to capture the Jinchuuriki alive,
Kisame
thinks it would be better to find them as quickly as
possible.
Itachi says he is not worried about finding and catching the last
Jinchuuriki. Besides, if they catch the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki
too
fast, Konoha would have a strong response. With their
connections, Konoha could slow down Akatsuki’s operations in
other countries as well. So the  best
plan is to catch all the tailed beasts up to the Eight-Tails first.Itachi and Kisame find a place to rest and begin their meeting with the other Akatsuki members. Inside a dark cavern lit by a single lantern, the astral projections of the seven remaining members  appear.
Kisame explains that they are late because they had to deal with the
Four-Tails Jinchuuriki. He asks where Hidan and Kakuzu are
and is
informed by the leader that they are both dead.Inside Tsunade’s office, Naruto and the others are still discussing their next move. Sakura comments that if they can capture one of the Akatsuki members alive, then they can hand him over to Ibiki to  extract
all kinds of information. Kakashi enters the room and says
that
he has had the same idea, but with the abilities of the Akatsuki,
capture is not an option. Naruto asks him what they should do
then. Kakashi replies they need to find Itachi first and
pulls
something out from his jacket.
Kisame laughs and says he could have seen the
“zombie
brothers” die. The leader tells him not to talk
about their
companions like that. Zetsu reveals that it was
Kakashi’s
unit, and specifically the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki, who killed
them.
Tobi comments that they are very strong and even beat up
Deidara.
This enrages Deidara who threatens to blow Tobi up. The
Akatsuki
leader tells Deidara to calm down and advises Tobi to respect his
senior.
Kisame cuts in and says he wants to start sealing the
Four-Tails
right away. But the leader has other news and reveals that
Orochimaru has also been killed. Itachi remains silent when
he
hears that it was Sasuke who had done it. Zetsu informs them
that
Sasuke has also gathered some ninjas who could be troublesome for
them. The leader tells Kisame that he should know one of
them,
Suigetsu of the Houzuki Brothers of the Hidden Mist Village.
The
other notable one is Jugo of Tenpin (Balance). The leader
advises
Itachi to watch his back because Sasuke will surely try to find
him. He also tells everyone to be cautious because if  Sasuke’s team learns too much about
Kisame and Itachi, the Akatsuki’s plans could be blocked.Deidara asks Kisame about Suigetsu. Kisame reveals that, ten years ago, Suigestu was a boy who was always smiling. But because he was always tearing up the arms and legs of his opponents and decapitating them, Suigestu was nicknamed the second “devil Zabuza” – a prodigy of murder. Deidara appears to be interested and says they sound very interesting.
