MenuCHAPTER 352 - The Motive 
Jugo trembles inside his cell and yells at Sasuke
and the others to lock him inside again. Suigetsu thinks Jugo
will not cooperate and says there’s no way he can walk along
side a guy like him. Sasuke tells Jugo that
Orochimaru’s organization has crumbled, and so will this
base. He tells Jugo that he will contain his powers if he
comes out. Jugo does not believe him and states that the only
person who can stop him is Kimimaro.Karin explains that Kimimaro Kaguya and Jugo were Orochimaru’s favorite test subjects. Kimimaro was probably the only Cursed Seal subject in the entire complex who would submit willingly to 
experiments. He was the only one strong
enough to stop Jugo’s wild rampages. Sasuke tells
Jugo that Kimimaro died to bring him to Orochimaru. These
words  spark a reaction from Jugo, and he realizes that
the person
talking to him must be Sasuke Uchiha.On the last day they saw each other, Kimimaro told Jugo that he will be going on a mission to retrieve Sasuke. Kimimaro said that Sasuke will be the person to replace himself as Orochimaru’s vessel. Since Kimimaro’s body was dying, he could no longer give his body to Orochimaro. He saw Sasuke as a  way
to revive his existence and was willing to die to bring him to
Orochimaru. Before leaving, Kimimaro thanked Jugo and told him that he
would be back. Jugo interprets Sasuke being in front of him
now as proof that Kimimaro’s existence still lives
on. He opens the door to face Sasuke.Later, Sasuke has gathered everyone outside and reveals to them his motive. In order to kill Itachi Uchiha of the Akatsuki, he requires their powers. He turns to Karin and asks her what she intended to do since she had  previously stated having other
plans. Karin begins to come up with more excuses, but
Suigetsu tells her to be honest and say she wants to be at
Sasuke’s side. Karin’s voice starts to
crack as she attempts to refute the idea. Suigetsu then
reveals that he knows what she had done to Sasuke in the past, but
before he can finish she throws a punch to his head.
Suigetsu’s head burst into water but quickly reforms back
into shape. Sasuke tells him to stop
agitating Karin because they need to work
together in the future. Suigetsu apologizes and says he will
stick around even if Karin is coming too. He says that he
wants to take on Kisame Hoshigaki, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the
Mist and  currently Itachi’s partner.
Suigetsu wants
his sword, Samehada, for himself. Karin comments that someone
is compensating by collecting swords. Suigetsu glares at her,
but stops at Sasuke’s warning. Suigetsu then asks what
Jugo’s intentions are. Jugo says that Kimimaro sacrificed
himself for Sasuke because he saw Sasuke as the revival of his
existence. Jugo will join Sasuke in order to see how strong a
 ninja he really is. With all his team
members ready, Sasuke
says that the team will now go by the name “Hebi”
(Snake). Hebi only has one objective, and that is to kill Itachi Uchiha.At Konoha, Naruto is demanding to know why Sasuke won’t return if Orochimaru is already dead. Jiraiya tells him that from their reports,  Sasuke is gathering a team and intends to kill
Itachi by engaging Akatsuki. Naruto insists that they too
need to gather a small team to go after Sasuke. But in order
to find Sasuke, they would need to aim for the same person he is going
after, Itachi Uchiha.Outside at an undisclosed location, Kisame and Itachi are traveling by foot when it begins to rain. Itachi looks up the sky and comments that it looks like a storm is coming.
