MenuCHAPTER 341 - The Training Pays Off 
With Kakashi’s consent, Naruto heads out once
again to
take on Kakuzu one-on-one. After the first round, Kakuzu
knows he
is better off keeping his distance from Naruto. He further
transforms himself into his long range mode. Large masses of
his
tendrils expand from his body,  forming into eight massive tentacles.Not only has Kakuzu changed his form, he is also building up chakra. But none of this deters Naruto as he proceeds to create three more Shadow Clones and begins generating another Spiral Shuriken. When it is ready, he charge in with his clones forming a vanguard. Kakuzu  decides
to ignore the Shadow Clones altogether and jumps high into the
air. His target is the original Naruto; if he can crush the
jutsu
from a distance, then the battle will be over. Kakuzu leaps over all the clones and takes aim at the Naruto charging forward with the Spiral Shuriken. He launches all eight tentacles at Naruto and completely engulfs him in a mass of tendrils. But this Naruto disappears in a puff of smoke and Kakuzu realizes he had just destroyed a Shadow Clone. From behind Kakuzu,  the
real Naruto closes in rapidly wielding another Spiral
Shuriken.
Kakuzu realizes that, this time, Naruto had mixed his original self
with the two clones that were charging him. It was a risky
move
but it has worked. Slowed down by his
own tendril masses, Kakuzu doesn’t have time to evade as
Naruto
pushes his Spiral Shuriken into his back. The Spiral Shuriken
propels Kakuzu forward while the Wind chakra acts like a rapidly
spinning drill and tunnels its way through his chest.
Kakuzu’s body is sent flying over and past Kakashi
and the
others, and then explodes in the air. A giant shockwave is
created as multiple blasts occur simultaneously. Everyone is
forced to brace themselves as the force of the explosion is so
great. Trapped in the middle of the blast, Kakuzu screams in
agony as his body is torn apart. Kakashi is amazed by
Naruto’s new jutsu. The attack frequency is so fast
that
even his Sharingan could not see it all.The two remaining masks of Kakazu’s crumble and fall to the ground. A huge crater is formed below the spot where Naruto’s jutsu exploded in the air. Kakuzu’s body remains suspended in the air, but soon collapses to the ground as the energy from the chakra dissipates. An exhausted Naruto manages a small grin as he exclaims “I did it.”
