Shikamaru replies that he is not scared of those idle threats because
he only believes in the ‘Will of Fire.’Shikamaru tells Hidan that right now, his god isn’t some stupid Jashin, but himself. Shikamaru proceeds to give Hidan his  judgment and throws an explosive tagged kunai
into the wall of the pit. The explosion collapses the walls
and causes more rocks to fall on Hidan. Hidan goes into a
hysterical laughter and screams at Shikamaru that he vows
he will be the one to give final judgment on him; even if all has are
his teeth, he will still be able to tear and chew Shikamaru to
bits. Shikamaru does not respond and only watches on with an
emotionless expression as the rocks bury Hidan.Naruto has formed two Shadow Clones to face Kakuzu. From the use of the technique, Kakuzu recognizes Naruto as the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki. Yamato asks  Kakashi to explain the situation of the battle
and the enemy’s power. Kakashi informs Yamato that
Shikamaru is fighting one of the Akatsuki members by himself while the
other one is in front of them. He tells Yamato about
Kakuzu’s splitting powers and the abilities of the masks
which have their own hearts and can move independently. In
all, they have destroyed two of Kakuzu’s hearts, but they need
to kill him three more times to completely destroy him. On
top of that, Kakuzu is a mid-range type fighter and can manipulate all
chakra elements.After hearing this information, two Naruto clones immediately charges at Kakuzu despite Ino and Choji’s warnings. Kakuzu entangles the first clone and destroys it, the second clone ducks to the side and throws a  kunai. Kakuzu easily avoids the attack
and lashes out his tendrils to capture the second Naruto
clone. Kakuzu mocks at Naruto and tells him he
can’t win by just sending Shadow Clones. But Naruto had another objective and the clones served
their purpose. Naruto analyzes the enemy’s attack
speed and style and estimates he will need at least three Shadow Clones
to act as bait for his next attack. Kakashi recognizes that
Naruto is finally using his clones properly; by accumulating the
information they return to him and using that to formulate a battle
plan.
Naruto creates his three Shadow Clones and joins with two of
them to create his new Rasengan jutsu. The Rasengan sphere
created is infused with Wind chakra and begins emitting a high pitched
sound as a spiral of Wind chakra forms on the outside of the
sphere. Kakashi looks on and remembers the time when Naruto
first successfully developed the new jutsu. To test it,
Kakashi forms a Rasengan and asks Naruto to smash his new jutsu against
it. Naruto is stunned by the risky request but
complies. In the aftermath of their test, it is Kakashi who is on the losing end. He
struggles to his feet and looks back at Naruto, and realizes just how
much Naruto resembles the Fourth Hokage.At the scene of battle, Naruto unveils the true form of his new jutsu: the Sprial Shuriken. Everyone is in awe at the massive amount of chakra emanating from it; including Kakuzu, who knows that it will be the end of him if he gets hit by this kind of jutsu.
