MenuCHAPTER 318 - The Training Progresses 
After a long day of training, Kakashi tells Naruto to
release
all of his clones so he can re-assimilate their collective
experience. It is also a chance for Yamato to rest because he
has
been controlling the Kyuubi’s chakra the entire
time. After
all the clones have disappeared, Naruto
tries to train a little further and cut the remaining leaf in his
hand. But the mental stress of the day’s training
proves
too much for him and Naruto collapses in exhaustion.The mission to capture the Three-Tail is a success. Tobi stands atop the beast floating in the water and boasts about his incredible skills to  Deidara.
This annoys Deidara and he points out to Tobi that his victory
wouldn’t have been possible without his help.
Deidara
lectures to Tobi that Akatuski members aren’t supposed to be
talkative; they are supposed to be quiet, cool and artistic.
Tobi
cuts in and tells Deidara that he’s pretty talkative
himself. Deidara loses his temper and punishes Tobi with his
explosive clay.The next day, Naruto’s training begins anew. Naruto has made 
significant progress and has mastered the ability to cut a leaf
with chakra alone. He is excited about his
advancement and
believes he can master a new jutsu in no time. After Naruto
releases his clones, he immediately asks Kakashi for the next training
exercise. But once again, the mental strain proves too much
and
Naruto collapses. Kakashi catches Naruto and calls Yamato to
take
a rest as well.
When Naruto has awakened, Kakashi explains to him the next
step
of his training. Kakshi points to the waterfall that Yamato
had
created and tells him to cut the flow of water with his Wind
chakra. Yamato elaborates that it will require Naruto to
instantaneously produce massive amounts of Wind chakra
recomposition. If Naruto succeeds, it will mean he can use
chakra
recomposition in a combat situation. Naruto is too excited to
rest any longer and wants to get started as soon as possible.
Kakashi is impressed by Naruto’s training; even he could not have predicted that
Naruto would make so much progress in so little time.Deidara has created two large clay birds to tow the unconscious Three-Tail across the water. He tells Tobi he shouldn’t be so full of himself because the Three-Tail was weak since it did not have a Jinchuuriki medium to harness its power. Deidara expected a reply from Tobi but only silence ensued. Deidara turns around and finds that Tobi had been sleeping  the whole time. He gets pissed and
treats Tobi to his explosive clay a second time.In a forest in the Country of Fire, Hidan and Kakuzu travel to a destination to collect the bounty on Chiriku. Kakuzu had been carrying Chiriku’s corpse the 
entire time and asks Hidan to carry for awhile. Hidan replies
that since Kakuzu is so greedy about money, he should shut up and carry
the burden himself. Kakuzu gives Hidan a hateful glare and
tells
Hidan he will kill him one of these days. Hidan replies that
those words are wasted on  someone like himself.On the courtyard atop the Hokage’s headquarters, Tsuande briefs the Twenty Platoons on the Akatsuki attack at the Temple of Fire. Tsuande has assembled twenty shinobi teams to hunt down Akastuki, one of them is Asuma's team consisting of himself, Shikamaru, Kotetsu and Izumo. Asuma cannot believe that Chiriku, a former member of the Twelve Shinobi Guardsmen like himself, could have been so easily killed by two Akatsuki members. Tsunade wants to find out about Akatuski’s plans, but reminds everyone that these men are highly dangerous. Her orders are to not let them leave the Fire Country; capture them if possible, otherwise eradicate them.
