MenuCHAPTER 308 - Sasuke's Strength 
Sasuke draws his blade and in one swift motion thrusts it down towards
Naruto’s backside. Sai reacts in time and moves to
stop
Sasuke by grabbing his wrist.  Sasuke
doesn’t react and simply tells Sai his choice of defense was
quite correct.
Naruto takes advantage of the opening Sai created and flips over to
restrain Sasuke’s other arm. Yamato takes his cue
and
immediately launches a wooden tendril to bind Sasuke. However
all
their actions are futile when Sasuke activates his Sharingan and
perform a new jutsu called Chidori Dicharge (Chidori
Nagashi).
The powerful electrical current normally generated by Chidori explodes
from Sasuke’s entire body. The discharge stuns both
Naruto
and Sai, and forces Yamato to back off. When Naruto falls,
the
pendant around his neck strikes the ground and falls off. Seeing her teammates hurt, Sakura remembers her promise to herself about not being helpless anymore. She yells at Sasuke that she will take him back with her own 
power and makes a direct charge at him. Sasuke
doesn’t say
a word but only charges his sword with the electricity from
Chidori. Yamato recognizes the dangerous gaze in
Sasuke’s
eyes and knows he intends to kill Sakura. He rushes forward
to
parry Sasuke’s strike, but Sasuke’s blade easily
cuts
through his kunai and continues forward to impale Yamato in the left
shoulder.
Sasuke’s pins Yamato into the rock behind him and tells him
his
choice of defense was a mistake. Sasuke’s sword is
a
Kusanagi blade like Orochimaru’s but it differs in that it
cannot
be blocked. Yamato senses his body going numb and realizes
that
Sasuke is channeling his chidori through the blade. Not only
does
this paralyze the foe, but it also makes the blade extremely sharp.
Before Sasuke can continue, he notices behind him that Naruto is
struggling to get to his feet. Naruto’s pendant has
fallen
off and he has already begun to transform. Inside Naruto, a
battle of wills between
himself and Kyuubi is taking place. From behind the locked
gate
which he is sealed, Kyuubi tempts Naruto to let him out. The
water on the floor begins to froth, and the shape of Kyuubi’s
head forms in front of Naruto. He tells Naruto that this is
finally his chance to show Sasuke how powerful he really is.
Naruto replies that he doesn’t need Kyuubi’s powers
anymore. Kyuubi laughs and tells Naruto that he  should
know full well he can’t do anything without him. Kyuubi
promises
that if Naruto removes the seal holding the gates shut, then he will
entrust to Naruto all of his power.Naruto holds up his hand to reject Kyuubi’s offer, but this time a second person appears besides him. Somehow Sasuke has managed to penetrate into Naruto’s most inner thoughts and he too holds up his hand to reject Kyuubi. Kyuubi recognizes him as a member of the Uchiha clan and congratulates Sasuke on making it this far. Sasuke tells Naruto he is finally able to see where all his powers came from, but is surprised that such a monster actually existed inside him.
