Orochimaru’s use of Sasuke’s name to taunt Naruto
works. Naruto begins to transform and Kyuubi’s chakra seep
out of his body. He demands that they return Sasuke, but Kabuto steps
in and calmly explains to Naruto that Sasuke came to Orochimaru by his
own free will. He tells
Naruto to act like a man and get over it. Sakura snaps back at
Kabuto telling him he doesn’t know a thing about Naruto’s
feelings. Orochimaru tells Naruto that if he wants to know so
much about Sasuke, why not try to force it out of him?
At these words, Naruto launches himself at Orochimaru with full
force. He is already in his one-tail transformation stage and
Kyuubi’s chakra has enveloped his body. He clears the
distance between them in a split second and sinks his claws
into Orochimaru’s face, sending the latter flying and impacting
deep into the forest. The bridge support ropes are damaged in the
process and it begins to sway. Naruto turns his attention to
Kabuto, but his eyes are already not human anymore. For Sakura,
it’s especially shocking to see Naruto in this state.
Yamato recalls the discussion between Tsunade, Jiraiya and
himself at Kakashi’s hospital room just before he departed on the
current mission. Jiraiya talks about his experience during
training with Naruto. He reveals a deep scar on his chest and
comments that there have been only two times in his life where he came
close to dying. One was when he tried to peep at some women
bathing and was caught by Tsunade. The second was having
witnessed Naruto transform into his four-tail fox form. Up to the
three tails stage, Naruto still retained consciousness. But after
four tails, he goes into a purely destructive impulse and literally
becomes a miniature Kyuubi demon fox. He hypothesizes that the
seal created originally by the Fourth Hokage is weakening.
Another problem he reveals is the chakra shroud that envelopes
Naruto’s body is actually degrading his body, not protecting
it. It goes unnoticed because  Kyuubi’s
chakra also constantly regenerates Naruto’s body. But by
the time the fourth tail appears, his body will be covered by his own
blood. Naruto’s body will go
through rapid cycles of injury followed by accelerated healing; this
continuous process will likely shorten his lifespan. Tsunade
turns to Yamato and tells him that this is the reason why he was chosen
to lead Team Kakashi. Yamato inherited the cells of the First
Hokage who possessed the unique potential to control a
Jinchuuriki. It seems that the First’s necklace is also
important in this process, but luckily it was already given to Naruto
by Tsuande.  On the bridge, Kabuto coolly tells Naruto he has developed very nicely as a Jinchuuriki. Sakura remembers what the late Chiyo had said about the unfathomable power a Jinchuuriki can wield by working in sync with the beast  demon
within. At this point, Orochimaru arrives back. The skin on his
face is in tatters, partially revealing the real face of his current
host body. He taunts Naruto by telling him what a fine
Jinchuuriki he has become. Orochimaru then turns to Yamato and
says that it seems his experiments on the First Hokage’s cells
weren’t a complete failure. Orochimaru’s envied the
First’s ability to use wood ninjutsu and more specifically his
ability to control a tailed beast. After obtaining
the First’s DNA through his remains, Orochimaru spliced his
genetic traits into the cells of sixty children as test subjects.
But their bodies rejected the foreign DNA and Orochimaru had believed
they had all perished. Kabuto comments that Yamato is like a long
overdue research sample. Orochimaru agrees but replies that he
wants to see their Sasuke fight Naruto first to who has become
stronger. Naruto reaches a breaking point and warns Orochimaru to
never talk about Sasuke as if he belongs to him. Chakra erupts
from his body, Naruto has already transformed into the three-tail stage.
