MenuCHAPTER 286 - Naruto, Sasuke, Sai 
Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato travel through a forest road to
their destination at the Tenchi Bridge in the Grass village.
Naruto glares at Sai and remarks that he does resemble Sasuke somewhat
in appearance and in his voice. Sai tells Naruto to stop looking
or he’ll hit him. Naruto retracts his previous statement
and tells Sai that everything he says pisses him off. Sai replies
that he doesn’t have any malice against Naruto, but tries to
appear so. This makes Naruto even angrier and he openly questions
why Sai is even on the team in the first place.
Yamato breaks up their quarrel and reminds them that teamwork
and cooperation are the most important aspects in a team. These
things should have been reinforced by Kakashi’s teachings, so
Yamato asks Naruto why he is acting this way. Naruto angrily
replies that Sai is not a part of Team Kakashi; he’s just someone
to fill the gap for Sasuke but Naruto will never recognize him as a
teammate.Sai puts on another of his fake smiles and tells Naruto he is glad he thinks that way because he wouldn’t want to be associated with someone like Sasuke – a shit-for-brains 
Orochimaru clone who betrayed Konoha and ran off because he only cared
about power. Naruto’s temper flares after hearing
Sai’s words. He clenches his  fists
and is about to strike when Sakura suddenly holds him back. She
tells Sai that Naruto said too much and asks Sai to please forgive
him. Yamato sighs in relief because at least one person on the
team seems reasonable. Sai gives Sakura a big smile in
agreement. Sakura responds with an equally cheerful smile, right
before knocking Sai off his feet with a sucker punch to the face.
Sai lands on the ground several feet away, Sakura tells him that as for
herself, she doesn’t need his forgiveness. She threatens
that if
he bad-mouths Sasuke one more time, she won’t hold back in her
next attack. Sai complies with Sakura’s demands and tells
her she had him completely fooled with her fake smile. He had
read in a book once that smiles are the best way to get out of trouble,
but it didn’t seem to work on Sakura in this situation.Yamato had enough of this scene in front of him and performs a jutsu called Four Pillar Prison (Shichuutou no Justsu). Wooden beams burst out from the ground behind him and emerge to form a large cage made from wooden pillars. Yamato tells his students that he’ll throw them inside the  cage
if they don’t stop arguing. They have five days before they
need to be at Tenchi Bridge, and that’s a lot of time for
everyone to reflect on their actions and words. But what catches
Sakura’s attention is Yamato’s jutsu itself. The
ability to perform wood element ninjutsu was something only the First
Hokage had possessed. Until now, Sakura didn’t know of
anyone in Konoha who possessed this ability, not even Tsunade who is
the granddaughter of the First Hokage. So, just who is Yamato?Yamato offers everyone a choice, either spend the next few days in a cage or they can go to a hotel with a hot spring. He adds that although he likes being friendly, he also has no problems with ruling by fear. A little later, Naruto, Sai and Yamato are together in a hot spring at a hotel. Yamato comments that being naked together really helps build bonds between them. Sai looks at Naruto and remarks that he really did have “one” between his legs. Naruto becomes pissed and yells at Sai for always going on about penises. His voice  reaches the women’s bath across from theirs and causes everyone to laugh, but Sakura cringes in embarrassment.
Naruto hears the laughter from the women’s side and makes
a mischievous grin, then begins to swim towards the fence separating
the men and women sections. Yamato is finished with his bath but
offers a bit of advice to Naruto before he leaves. He reveals to
Naruto that Jiraiya came very close to death once when he was
young. He had both of his arms and six ribs broken, as well as
many ruptured internal organs. The cause seemed to have been
Tsunade’s inhuman strength. And Jiraiya was doing exactly
the same thing Naruto is about to do right now. He asks Naruto
what he thinks Sakura would do and this stops Naruto dead in his tracks.
