Naruto’s punch knocks Deidara off the
tree and both of them begin falling to the ground. As they
descend, Naruto creates four more shadow clones of himself.
The clones grab hold of Deidara and slam him into the ground.
Naruto himself lands directly on top of Deidara with a kick into his
chest. He and the clones then begin mercilessly pounding
Deidara in a chaotic flurry of punches. To finish him off,
Naruto performs his Rasengan jutsu. But after he plunges the
spiraling sphere into Deidara’s body, he discovers it is a
replacement clone made from clay.At this point, Naruto’s rage overwhelms him and he begins losing control to Kyuubi. Chakra appears to 
bubble out from his body and aggregate to take the form of a
fox. The most noticeable change is the long fox tail forming
from Naruto’s backside. From his hiding spot in the
underbrush, Deidara sees why each of Naruto’s punches felt so
much heavier than they should be; they were empowered by
Kyuubi’s chakra.The first of Kyuubi’s nine tails has already formed from the chakra, and a second is quickly taking shape. As Kakashi is watching from his position, the Naruto clone next to him which served as a decoy earlier begins to feel a burning pain emanating from within. Kakashi suddenly remembers what Jiraiya had told him before he left Konoha. He gave Kakashi a special chakra suppression seal and advised Kakashi to use it on Naruto if ever his body begins transforming into the demon fox. Kakashi realizes he must act now because Jiraiya also said to stop the transformation at the “one-tail” stage.  Rushing
to Naruto’s side, Kakashi surprises
him by pressing the seal to his forehead. Immediately,
Kyuubi’s chakra begins to recede and Naruto’s
features return to normal.Back in the river valley, after a long and exhausting battle, each member of Team Gai manages to defeat their individual opponents. Gai admits that his opponent was indeed his exact  clone with nearly his equivalent strength and
skills to
match. This was no ordinary cloning jutsu, whoever is behind
it must be a very powerful shinobi.Naruto’s body has returned to his normal state. Kakashi can’t help but ponder what Jiraiya must have witnessed in order to warrant the precautionary measures against Naruto’s transformation. In that moment, Sakura  appears supporting Chiyo’s body, which
is
still suffering from Sasori’s poison.
Chiyo’s main concern, however, is the state of
Gaara’s wellbeing.Watching the scene from hiding, Deidara can’t believe that an old woman and a little girl had managed to defeat Sasori. It is especially ironic because while  Sasori
was a firm believer of eternal
beauty in things created to last forever, he got killed straight
off. Sasori was also overconfident since he left his most
vulnerable point exposed in plain view on his chest. But
despite his flaws, Deidara admits that Sasori’s end was
fitting for an artist. As Deidara attempts to leave the scene, he is intercepted by Team Gai who arrived in time to pinpoint his location with Neji’s byakuugan. With no arms and no explosive clay birds left, Deidara can only manage to parry off his attackers with a kunai in  his mouth. He knows he has no hope
of escaping now and must resort to desperate measures.
Deidara
locates the body of the giant clay bird which Naruto had earlier
decapitated. He lands
beside the clay bird and bites a chunk from the
body. Team
Gai is close in pursuit but they approach Deidara cautiously because of
Kakashi’s warnings about his ability to attack using
explosions. Deidara declares he will show them his ultimate
work of art and then his body suddenly begins to balloon out of
shape.
Neji, using byakuugan, witnesses all of Deidara’s chakra
being
focused into one spot in his body. He warns everyone to
retreat
quickly just as Deidara begins exploding.
