MenuCHAPTER 276 - A New Sharingan  Kakashi is finally ready to
unleash
his version of the Mangekyou (Kaleidoscope) Sharingan on
Deidara.
Naruto tells him that it’s okay if Kakashi messes up on the
jutsu
because he’ll be there to finish off Deidara. It is
clear
Naruto is craving to get a crack at Deidara for what he and Akatsuki
have done to
Gaara. Kakashi activates the Mangekyou Sharingan and aims it at Deidara above. In seconds, the space around Deidara begins to waver and distort; even his own body starts to warp out of shape. Kakashi directs the Sharingan to concentrate at a focal point. As it runs over Deidara’s body, a searing sound is produced. But as Kakashi attempts to get a lock on a vital spot on Deidara, he begins to lose focus; the strain of his new Sharingan is too much for his body. Kakashi is running out of time and decides to take a shot before he loses  control.
He fails to land a fatal
shot on Deidara, but the Mangekyou Sharingan did manage to lock on to
Deidara’s right arm. In a split second,
Deidara’s arm
is severed above the elbow. At the location where the
Sharingan
was aiming at, the remaining blood and sinew appear to be sucked into a
single point and completely vanish.On the ground, Kakashi covers his Sharingan eye to give himself a short breather. The Mangekyou Sharingin is still a new jutsu to him,  and it
seems he still hasn’t learned to properly
control the location and size of the barrier which limits the area
which the Sharingan targets. Kakashi unveils his Mangekyou
Sharigan again
but it is clear his body is quickly reaching its limit. This
time
his aim is even worse but the purpose is different. Deidara
is
disorientated by the Mangekyou  Sharingan long enough for Naruto to get
in range with his Rasengan. Deidara manages to pick up on the
sneak attack and leaps away, abandoning his clay bird. Naruto
continues with his attack and cleaves off the head of the bird with the
Rasengan. He then creates two shadow clones to catch the head
and
bring it to the ground safely. Inside he finds
Gaara’s
lifeless body.Kakashi is exhausted from using the Mangekyou Sharingan and is forced to revert back to the normal Sharingan. Deidara lands in the trees several meters away, now with both arms severed he has no way of using hand seals anymore. Kakashi   possessing
a
Sharingan at the level of Itachi was not something he had prepared
for. To him Naruto is no threat at all, he believes he would
have
easily captured the Jinchuuriki if Kakashi wasn’t present.Naruto checks up on Kakashi and then turns his attention to Deidara. With clear hatred in his eyes, Naruto declares to Deidara that he will make him pay. Deidara has no intention of continuing the battle in his current condition and waves off Naruto’s idle threats. But as Kakashi notes, Deidara has let his guard down. From behind him, the real Naruto catches Deidara completely by surprise, knocking Deidara straight off his feet with a fist to the face.
