remorse after hearing
Chiyo’s reason behind her development of the Life Transfer
Jutsu. Rather, he is disappointed that Chiyo didn’t
die
after using the jutsu to heal Sakura. As Sakura was only
mortally
wounded, Chiyo did not need to sacrifice her entire life force to
revive her. But after hearing Sasori’s heartless
words to
his own grandmother, Sakura’s first action after getting to
her
feet is to punch Sasori in the face.Sasori just grins and tells her it’s pointless since his body feels no pain. Likewise, his heart, just like his body, will feel nothing if Chiyo dies. She will simply be another number out of the thousands of people he has killed. Sakura becomes mad at Sasori’s disregard for blood ties and human life. Chiyo tells her it’s not Sasori’s fault but the teachings of the Sand that had made him this way. Sasori says to Sakura that the  only
way she’ll truly understand him is if she becomes like
him.
By becoming a puppet Sasori is, in a sense, immortal. He can
remake
his body into any form he wants for as many times as he
wants. He
can also make as many human puppets as he wants, but only if they are
of high quality specimens. Sasori sees himself as a human who
should have been a puppet. Even in his current body, he
believes
he is an incomplete puppet because his core is still made up of a part
of his human body.Sasori admits he won’t be able to move for much longer and does something unexpected. 
He gives Sakura a clue about locating Orochimaru. Ten days
from
now on the Tenchi bridge in the Village of the Grass, he is supposed to
meet one of his spies masquerading as one of Orochimaru’s
subordinates. With his last words said, Sasori’s
body goes
limp and he collapses to the ground along with the puppets of his
parents. Although she finally defeated Sasori, Chiyo divulges
to
Sakura that Sasori saw her last attack coming. But when he
saw
the puppets of his parents coming, he somehow didn’t or
wouldn’t avoid the attack even though he had a small opening
to
escape.For Chiyo, it is a bitter sweet victory because although she defeated a feared member of Akatsuki, she had also killed her own grandson. Sasori’s poison still lingers in her body and Sakura tells Chiyo they should hurry back to the village so she can prepare  another
antidote. However, Chiyo declines the offer, stating that
there is something more important she must do first.Deidara continues to evade Naruto and Kakashi in their chase through the forest. He is most surprised by how calm Naruto has become compared to how he was at 
the beginning of their encounter, and suspects they must be planning
something. Down below, Naruto impatiently waits for Kakashi
to
gather the necessary chakra for his new jutsu. Finally, his
preparations are complete and Kakashi reveals his new Sharingan eye
– which bares a striking resemblance to Itachi’s
Mangekyo
(Kaleidoscope) Sharingan.
