MenuCHAPTER 272 - Chiyo Versus Sasori  Sasori propels himself
towards Chiyo’s position ready to sink the claw weapons on
his back into her. Sakura knows Chiyo is still too weak to
avoid such an attack, but her own injury prevents her from intercepting
Sasori. However, she has a third option.
Sasori’s attack is suddenly brought to a halt as Sakura grabs
the rope attached to the harpoon which had injured her and quickly
pulls on it. Sasori activates a mechanism and his claws begin
rapidly spinning and continue to advance on Chiyo, shredding everything
in their path. But only inches from Chiyo’s face,
the reel of rope attached to Sasori reaches its end. Sakura
gives the rope a final enormous tug and yanks Sasori towards herself
and her awaiting fist. She lands a punch dead center on
Sasori’s torso and shatters his puppet body into individual
pieces. The body parts of Sasori are scattered everywhere. Sakura catches her breath and is thankful she managed to defeat Sasori in time because the effectiveness of the antidote has just worn out. Sakura turns to Chiyo to celebrate but a series of clicking sounds behind her tells  her
it’s not over yet. In seconds, Sasori’s
body reassembles itself and he stands again unharmed. Chiyo
recognizes Sakura is near her limit and will not be able to defeat
Sasori at this rate. She reattaches her prosthetic puppet
arm, now functional again since the Sandaime was destroyed, and pulls
out a summoning scroll from her pouch. Chiyo had  promised
herself never to use this jutsu again but this is a desperate
situations. In a burst of smoke, Chiyo summons ten puppets in
white robes.Sasori compliments Chiyo’s show of strength since a puppeteer’s power is said to be measured by the number of puppets they use. Her jutsu is known as the Secret White Technique: Group of Ten of the Chikamatsu (Shiro Higi Jikki Chikamatsu no Shuu), each of her fingers controls one of the puppets. With this jutsu, it is rumoured Chiyo was able to take down an entire castle by herself.   However, Sasori’s
lack of anxiety upon seeing Chiyo’s puppets shows he still
has a secret weapon of his own and it is time he revealed his
hand. He takes out a summoning scroll of his own and opens a
chamber in his chest releasing a multitude of chakra
strands. A hundred puppets are summoned at once, all
controlled by the chakra threads released from Sasori’s
chest. The jutsu is called Secret Red Technique: Hundred
Manipulation (Aka Higi: Hyakki no Souen). With this many
puppets, Sasori was  able to conqueror an entire country. It
is Sasori’s last and most powerful jutsu, but he never
imagined he would be forced to use it in order to defeat an old hag and
a little girl.Chiyo turns to Sakura and tells her to stay back since her immunity to Sasori’s poisons has already worn off. Sakura looks at Chiyo, smiles and says Chiyo should know her character by now. Sakura is indeed a true apprentice to Tsunade, even down to her stubborn personality. She is certainly not about to back down when the final fight is about to take place.
