Sakura takes the opportunity of the pause in their battle to
heal Chiyo’s injuries and quickly patch up her own extensive cuts
and bruises. She only has a small reserve of chakra remaining and
must commit it all to defeating Sasori in the less than three minutes
remaining. Sasori has not
made a move, he is confused why Sakura could still be standing after
being struck by his poison. Not only that, she had the strength
left to destroy his Sandaime puppet. He concludes that only
possibility would have been an antidote made from the posion he used on
Kankurou. But making an antidote allows for no mistakes, and it
would have been impossible to produce one in such a short amount of
time even for himself. After watching Sakura heal her own wounds
in seconds, Sasori finally understands what level of a medical ninja
she is. He has truly  underestimated her from the very beginning.Bringing out another human puppet from his collection would be pointless since Sakura just destroyed his best one. Sasori can’t  remember how many years since joining Akatsuki that someone
gave him so much trouble to force him to use his own body to
fight. Taking off his black cloak, he reveals his body’s
true form. Chiyo now understands how Sasori has not aged in
appearance since she last saw him many years ago; he has turned his own
body into a human puppet.Naruto and Kakashi continue to chase after Deidara through the forest. Kakashi is forced to grab the fervent Naruto to slow him down. Kakashi lectures to Naruto that Deidara is the type of enemy he is weak against because he specializes in long range ninjutsu while Naruto uses primarily  short
range attacks. To win in these situations, you would need to
either best the opponent with your own long range attacks or draw him
into a short range situation. Kakashi adds that they would need
to have someone who can provide long range combat support ninjutsu or
have a brain like Shikamaru’s to have a chance of winning.
Naruto impatiently asks Kakashi what type of ninja he is and he gloats
that he possesses both of the two previous abilities. However,
they cannot rush into this battle since they are facing an Akatsuki
member who went into Sand and defeated Gaara single-handedly.
They need to create an  opening, and Kakashi begins explaining his plan to Naruto.Large jets of flame spew forth from nozzles in Sasori’s hands. They are powered by a stack of Fire Seal scrolls attached to his back. Sakura and Chiyo are forced to seek cover behind rocks, but the delay means Sakura has less than a minute left until her antidote loses its effectiveness.   Sasori stops his flamethrower attack and launches the roped harpoon
from his lower torso cavity. The harpoon is lightning fast and
catches Sakura by surprise as it pierces her right thigh and embeds
itself into the ground. But Sasori’s target is not Sakura.
Using the harpoon as an anchor, Sasori uses the recoil in the rope to
catapult himself towards Chiyo with all of his blades drawn.
