MenuCHAPTER 270 - Miscalculation 
In the Hidden Village of the Sand, Kankurou meets Temari in
front of the city gates. He has recovered from Sasori’s
poison and is ready to go support Naruto’s team. Despite
Chiyo’s orders for her to safeguard the Sand’s
borders, Temari will go with Kankurou and a group of Sand ninja to
rescue Gaara.Naruto and Kakashi run through the forest canopy in pursuit of Deidara  flying
ahead on his clay bird. Although he had said to Sasori that he
will capture Naruto, Deidara has not prepared any more explosive clay
since his last battle with Gaara. And with Kakashi chasing after
him as well, Deidara has no choice but to flee until he can come up
with a plan. On the ground, Kakashi knows that time is against
them, they need to hurry back and support Sakura and the others and
they’ve
travelled too far to use radio contact. Kakashi is resolute that
he needs to take out Deidara fast, even if he needs to use the new
technique he’s developed.The battle rages on inside the cave between Sakura and Chiyo, and Sasori. Rubble and smoke are everywhere, but Sakura has held her ground against Sasori and his Sandaime puppet despite fighting to near exhaustion. Sasori taunts Sakura for having such monstrous strength for a girl, but Chiyo recognizes that Sakura’s  talents
go beyond her physical power. In the short amount of time of
their battle, Sakura has already began to see through Sasori’s
attack patterns and can evade them even with minimal help from
Chiyo’s chakra threads. During her training with Tsunade,
Sakura was taught that for a medical ninja, attacking becomes second
and evasion is the primary focus. A medical ninja should 'never'
be hit by an enemy attack because if she is dead or injured there will
be no one to treat the rest of the team. The knowledge Sakura
gained from sparring with Tsunade is being put to great use in the
current battle.
By observing the movements of Sasori’s fingers and arms, Sakura
is able to predict the direction of the next attack.Sasori admits that at the current rate, the battle will last longer than he had anticipated. Although it will use a large amount of chakra, he decides to finish it with his next jutsu called Iron Sand World Model (Satetsu Kaihou). The giant triangular and rectangular masses are smashed together, their impact generates a lattice of iron sand spikes that spread out in every  direction.
With no time and no space to manoeuvre, Sakura is caught in the swarm
of spikes as they strike and shatter the ground around her.As the dust clears, Chiyo yells to Sakura to check on her condition. She is still standing, but several of the spikes left cuts in her skin. As with all of Sasori’s weapons, there is even poison inside the iron sand. Sakura’s sways and then collapses to the ground. 
Sasori’s poison first paralyzes the victim and then slowly kills
them in three days, but Sasori is not about to let Sakura live a moment longer with all
the trouble she’s given him. The Sandaime puppet is sent
flying towards Sakura to deliver a killing blow and Chiyo can only
helplessly watch as she is trapped by debris and rocks.However, just as the puppet is about to strike, Sakura regains her posture and shatters the oncoming Sandaime puppet into pieces. The lattice of iron sand spikes collapse as the Sandaime is destroyed. Sakura returns to Chiyo’s side and brings  out an
antidote capsule. When Sakura made an antidote for Kankurou, she
was able to make two more batches with the remaining ingredients.
Sasori did not know about the antidotes, so she waited for him to
reveal his final attack before surprising him. Now they still
have one antidote left and Sakura gives it to Chiyo for
safekeeping. The antidote Sakura has injected into herself will
last only three minutes, in that time she is immune to Sasori‘s
poisons. Since she has revealed her trump card, Chiyo and Sakura
agree that they must end this battle in the limited time remaining.
