MenuCHAPTER 267 - Violent Determination 
Sasori has brought out the human puppet of
Sandaime, the third Kazekage of the Sand who disappeared ten years
ago. Chiyo condemns Sasori because he betrayed the village
and has gone after the Kazekages of Sands three times now, including
Gaara. Sasori may not have not been personally involved in
the assassination of Yondaime, Gaara’s father, by Orochimaru,
but his subordinates were the ones who guided him. Upon
hearing Orochimaru’s name, Sakura’s expression
suddenly turns serious.It was enough talk for Sasori and he sends his Sandaime puppet flying at Sakura. Chiyo immediately pulls back on her chakra threads to get her out of  harm’s
way. But the Sandaime is much faster, a series of poisoned
blades appear from his right arm which he swings at Sakura.
Chiyo just manages to block the blow with the part of
Hiruko’s tail she still controlled. The force of
the attack was so hard that it shattered the tail into pieces,
rendering it useless. Without pause,  Sasori initiates his
next attack. Triggering Sandaime’s left arm, a
cascade of puppet arms explode out of embedded capsules and form a
massive structure that snakes toward Sakura at an incredible
speed. They pummel into Sakura, but Chiyo takes advantage of
the spaces between the puppet arms and manages to position Sakura in a
way to avoid being impaled.Again, Chiyo pulls on her threads to bring Sakura back to safety, but Sasori is not through yet. He triggers one of the puppet arms to spew a jet of poisoned gas at Sakura. Chiyo quickly tries to yank Sakura out of the cloud, 
but her efforts are stopped. From another puppet arm, Sasori
has launched kunai attached to ropes to hold Sakura in place inside the
poison gas cloud. Now it was only a matter of time before she
is forced  to inhale the poison.Thoughts of Naruto and Sasuke run through Sakura’s mind. She can’t let it end here because she promised herself that this time she will be the one to protect them both. Chiyo runs forward to rescue her, but Sakura has already made her move. She pulls an explosive tag from her pack and detonates it. The force of the explosion sends her flying from the poison fumes and Chiyo manages to catch her. Chiyo is amazed by Sakura’s resourcefulness but notes that such a self sacrificing tactic is utterly crazy.  Sakura catches her breath and screams at Sasori that she will get him to talk about Orochimaru even if she has to beat him half to death. Sasori seems to care little for her words and triggers the remaining arms to launch a barrage of kunai at Sakura and Chiyo. But they are blocked down by two new puppets Chiyo had immediately summoned. Sasori recognizes these puppets, they were his first creations. They are the puppets of his own parents.
