MenuCHAPTER 265 - Chiyo and Sakura 
Each member of Team Guy faces an exact duplicate of
themselves. Their counterparts have copied the same
movements,
power and even the same jutsu. It doesn’t appear
they will
be able to come to Team Kakashi’s aid any time soon.Inside the cave, Sakura and Chiyo prepare to confront the fearsome Sasori. Sakura knows that the figure in front of them is not the real body  of
Sasori. But a puppet user needs to be close by to control his
minions with his chakra threads, so where is the real Sasori
hiding? Chiyo provides the answer: Sasori is inside the body
of
his puppet, wearing it like a suit of armor. When focussing
his
attention on directing his puppets, a puppeteer is susceptible to close
ranged attacks. By placing himself inside his own puppet, Sasori
has circumvented that weakness.Chiyo recognizes the puppet in front of them as Hiruko, one of Sasori’s favourites back when he was a ninja of the Hidden Village of the Sand. Chiyo knows many of the hidden trap mechanisms inside Hiruko and so this offers some advantage to herself and Sakura. However, Sasori has also made many changes  to
the puppet since he betrayed Sand, included are the large shell and
scorpion tail as well as the new device on the left hand.
Chiyo
realizes it is impossible for her to defeat Sasori alone, and
so
she turns to Sakura. Their first objective is to destroy
Hiruko
in order to reach Sasori on the inside. Sakura has the
ability to
do this with the superhuman strength she received from
Tsunade’s
training. However, to do so Sakura must get in close and
evade
the numerous traps hidden in Hiruko’s body; all of
Sasori’s weapons are poisoned and even one scratch can be
fatal. Sakura knows that while she has the strength, she
lacks
the battle experience needed to instantly
react to all the traps Sasori has in store for her. Chiyo
knows
this too, and reassures Sakura that Sasori’s combat
experience
pales to her own. Loosening her own hair, Chiyo tells Sakura
she
will be there to guide  her.
Together they will defeat Sasori and the first move has
already been made. Outside the cave, Deidara stares down at Kakashi and Naruto from his perch on top of his clay bird. He tells Kakashi that Sasori is much stronger than himself. Naruto urges Kakashi to go back and help Sakura because he can handle Deidara by himself.  
Chiyo whispers something into Sakura’s ear and the
two
prepare to charge Sasori. Immediately, Sasori unleashes a
torrent
of needle projectiles from his mouth at the pair. Amazingly,
Sakura manages to match up with Chiyo’s agility and avoid the
barrage. Before they can recover their stances, Sasori has
already launched another attack. The device on his left hand
flies through the air and unleashes its arsenal when it is between
Chiyo and Sakura. Multiple canisters are ejected from the   main
capsule, each launching more poisoned needles. But
once
again, both Chiyo and Sakura succeed in completely evading every single
projectile.Sasori is astonished Sakura was able to avoid his attacks, a novice ninja like her shouldn’t have 
the skills needed to dodge such a complex attack. It seems he
has
underestimated the two female shinobi fighting him. Using the
break in Sasori’s assault to her advantage, Sakura rushes
from
Sasori’s right side at breakneck speed. Sasori
instinctively thrusts his tail to strike her down, but it is
halted just inches from coming into contact with Sakura’s
head. At that moment, Sasori realizes what Chiyo had done,
but it
is too late. With one punch, Sakura demolishes
Sasori’s
shell from above and shatters the puppet body into pieces.
