Meeting Itachi Uchiha brings back painful memories for both
Naruto and Sakura. Naruto challenges Itachi but Kakashi stops him
and tells everyone to avoid looking into Itachi’s
eyes. Itachi’s genjutsu is a vision-type justu,
meaning it will affect the opponent only if he makes eye
contact. Might Guy had successfully fought Itachi in the past
by only reading the movements of his hands and feet. However,
it is easier said than done for young shinobi like Sakura and Naruto.Chiyo had fought Sharigan users in the past. Her advice is for one of them to act as a diversion while the others attack from Itachi’s blind spot. So even if one of them is caught in  his
genjutsu, the others can break it by hitting the Sharigan user, or at
least help by cancelling the genjutsu. However, Kakashi
explains to her that Itachi is a step beyond the regualer Sharigan
ninja. He has developed the Mangekyou Sharigan (Kaleidoscope
Sharigan), which can capture opponents in its genjutsu instantaneously
and its effects also cannot be cancelled.Itachi is impressed that Kakashi has his Mangekyou Sharigan so thoroughly analyzed despite having  been
affected by his genjutsu only once before. Kakashi also
reveals that using the Mangekyou Sharigan  carries
a great risk because it deteriorates the user’s normal
eyesight. Itachi is surprised that Kakashi knows about this
side effect, but when Kakashi reveals his own Sharigan eye, it becomes
clear why. Kakashi has developed his own version of
the Mangekyou Sharigan since their last encounter.
It is powerful enough that Itachi has to look away temporarily when
Kakashi unveils it. However, Kakashi admits he alone is still
not enough to take on Itachi; it will take a team effort to defeat him.  Might Guy and
Kisame fight furiously above the aquatic environment the
Akatsuki member had summoned. Guy manages to disarm Kisame of
his sword with a series of powerful kicks. As  Guy pulls away, Tenten, Rock Lee and
Negi launch an attack from above. Kisame summons three water clones and
easily blocks their attacks. He then performs his Aqua Prison
jutsu to transform his clones back into water form, in the process
trapping the three Konoha shinobi inside aquatic spheres. Guy
attempts to attack Kisame with his own sword, but has to release it because the Samehada grows sharp barbs down its
hilt; it can only be used by Kisame. With his students
trapped and quickly running out of air, Guy will need to act quickly to
defeat Kisame.
