MenuCHAPTER 252 - Thoughts, Racing  Kakashi, Naruto and Sakura
inform Tamari about the news they received from the Sand. It confirms
the bad premonition she had earlier. It will take a full
three days for them to travel from Leaf to Sand,
so the four immediately set off again. During their trip,
Naruto’s thoughts trace back to when Akatsuki members
Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki came to Konoha in an attempt to
capture him. He reveals to Sakura for the first time that the fox
demon Kyuubi is sealed inside his body.  Naruto becomes angry because he knows that the reason both he and Gaara were targeted is because of the monsters sealed inside each of them. He is angry because even though he and Gaara have worked hard to be to be respected and accepted by their peers, there are still those that view them only as 
monsters.
Gaara was even lonelier than Naruto when growing up,
yet he continues to
be dealt the harder role in life.
Naruto pledge that he will definitely
save Gaara this time. Temari is moved by Naruto’s words and
thanks him
in her heart.Back at Sand, Kankurou temporarily gains consciousness and manages to whisper into Baki’s ear who he had fought earlier. Baki leaves to find the Siblings, Chiyo and Ebizo, who were once great Sand shinobi,  but
have long retired. He pleads for their help in retrieving Gaara, but the Siblings stubbornly refuse, stating it's not
their generation’s problem anymore. Chiyo claims that the
only reason for which she will act would be to have a chance to see her
grandson’s face again. Baki seizes this opportunity to reveal
to Chiyo that her grandson was one of the attackers from Akatsuki,
namely Sasori. Meanwhile as they race
through the forest, Sakura tells Naruto she has been reading
Tsuande’s notes during her training and knows about the
relation between Akatsuki, Orochimaru and Sasuke. She is aware that
Sasuke only joined Orochimaru to gain the power needed to kill his
brother Itachi. But Orochimaru only wants Sasuke because he needs his
body as the next host to perform his immortality jutsu upon. And there
is only half a year left before Orochimaru will be ready to
transfer himself into Sasuke's body. Sakura swears to herself that this
time
she will save both Naruto and Sasuke from those who wish to harm them.
