MenuCHAPTER 251 - Going to the Sand  Kankurou lies on the
ground, his body is paralyzed by Sasori’s poisons and all his
puppets have been destroyed. What really shocks Kankurou was how easily
Sasori saw through all the traps and mechanics in his puppets and even knew how he prepared his own
poisons. Sasori reveals the answer, he was the one who originally
Kankurou’s puppets.launches his tail to deliver the death blow. Using the last of his strength, Kankurou manages to use his last chakra threads to block Sasori’s attack Kankurou suddenly realizes who his opponent is, Sasori of the Red Sand, a genius puppet creator who left the Sand over 20 years ago. Sasori seems pleased that even a youngster  like Kankurou knows his name, but he is tired of
wasting more time here and launches his tail to deliver the death blow.
Using the last of his strength, Kankurou manages to use his last chakra
threads to block Sasori’s attack with the remains of his Crow
puppet. He
makes a last ditch counterattack with one of Crow’s poisoned
arms, but Sasori narrowly dodges it. Kankurou has reached his limit and
collapses. Impressed at his opponent’s resourcefulness,
Sasori lets Kankurou live, at least for the next three days while the
poison slowly and painfully kills him.
At the gates to Konoha, Tsunade and Iruka see Naruto, Sakura
and
Kakashi off on their mission to the Sand. Jiraiya appears and warns
Naruto about confronting Akatsuki. He tells Naruto to keep control of
himself and restrain his brashness in battle. Above all, he advises
Naruto not to use “that jutsu.”  As the three leave, Tsunade asks Iruka if he’s worried. Iruka says Naruto and Sakura have matured 
and grown to be the kind of shinobi he can be confident about. On their
way to Sand, Kakashi’s team meets up with Temari and she
joins
them on their mission. Sasori catches up to
Deidara in the desert. Now
that Deidara has captured Gaara, Sasori must also complete his mission
as a member of Akatsuki to capture a “Jinchuuriki”,
a term they use to describe people who have a powerful demon sealed
inside. |
