After training with Jiraiya for two an a half years, Naruto finally returns back to Konoha. He is now fifteen and has grown taller. Naruto first meets Kakashi, who hasn’t changed at all in appearance. He surprises his former instructor by giving him Jiraiya’s latest ero-book: ‘Icha Icha Tactics’ (Make-out Tactics). Jiraiya returns Naruto back into Kakashi's guardianship as Naruto hurries off for his favorite ramen shop, Ichiraku Ramen. On his way, he meets Sakura walking with Tsunade. Sakura asks Naruto if she looks 
more  like a
mature woman now but is annoyed when Naruto says she looks exactly the
same. However,
she is impressed by how much taller Naruto has grown and
is pondering whether he has matured on the inside too when Konohamaru
arrives. He shows off his improved Sexy no Jutsu,
but Naruto is unimpressed and says
he'll perform the new perverted ninjutsu he has been developing.
Sakura gets really ticked at this point, switches to Inner
Sakura mode, and pummels Naruto to the ground.Tsunade shows her disppointment at how much of Jiraiya's pervertedness has rubbed off on Naruto. Jiraiya takes one look at Sakura's brute strength and beauty, and realizes she's exactly like Tsunade now. 
Kakashi gets serious and tells Naruto and Sakura that
they'll be going on missions with himself from now on... as equal
Konoha shinobi. But he is also curious about how much his
pupils have advanced in these years. Reaching into his
pocket, Kakashi produces two little bells. |
