028 - Nine Tails
 A swirl of chakra surrounds Naruto. Haku
doesn't understand what is
going on. The face of a snarling beast appears above Naruto in a surge
of evil chakra. The floor under his feet is torn up from the sheer
pressure. Haku can't understand how chakra can change this fast...
and be this evil! All of Naruto's wounds are healed immediately. The
needles from his back are forced out from within. Naruto's whisker
marks underneath his
eyes are much more defined now. Both Zabuza and Kakashi are alarmed,
what could this be? At first, Kakashi thinks it is Zabuza ,
but he soon
realizes who this horrible chakra belongs to; the Kyuubi!
Kakashi wonders to
himself if the seal might have broken. No, it hasn't completely broken,
just weakened. Kakashi whips out a scroll, and dips his hands in the
blood from his most recent wound. He smears the blood across the
scroll and spins it in the air. Through the mist, he tells
Zabuza he plans to finish their fight with his next move because their
time is short.
Naruto makes a mad dash on all fours for Haku.
Haku notices the change
in Naruto's killer intent from before. He throws some needles at him,
but they are deflected from Naruto by the power of Kyuubi's chakra.
Haku moves to a mirror behind Naruto and makes an attempt to kill him
from behind. But Naruto senses the attack and spins out of the
way. Haku tries to retreat back into his mirrors, but Naruto
matches his speed and catches him by the wrist. Haku attempts to focus
his chakra but realizes there is no way he can withstand against the
torrent of evil chakra pouring out of Naruto's body. Naruto
throws a violent punch right into Haku's face. The force knocks
knocking sends Haku crashing into one of his mirrors and landing everal
meters away.
Haku is
weakening and cannot stand up to Naruto any
longer. Haku loses control of his
mirror jutsu and all of the mirrors crumble. Haku knows he can't win
this battle. Naruto
appears in front of Haku again, ready to finish him. But
Haku's mask crumbles, revealing the face of the boy which Naruto had
met in the forest.
