MenuCHAPTER 023 - Ambush Times Two 
Zabuza
acknowledges Sasuke as a worthy rival for Haku. Kakashi's
suspicions are confirmed at the sight of Zabuza and Haku standing next
to each other. Sasuke is eager to combat their new masked enemy. He is
especially mad about the trickery Haku performed on them back at the
first fight. Of course this turns Sakura on, much to Kakashi's dismay. Haku is most impressed by the feat Sasuke just performed on the water 
clones of Zabuza. Zabuza tells Haku that they have the advantage, and
Haku starts rotating rapidly and rushes Sasuke,
clashing his
needle with Sasuke's kunai. Back at Tazuna's, Gatou's body guards smash into the house. They tell Tsunami that she must come with them. They are alerted by the sound of the nearby Inari, but decide they only need one hostage. Annoyed, they want to kill Inari, but Tsunami tells them if they don't want her to kill herself, and ruin their hostage situation, they  better not touch
Inari. They agree, and leave Inari alone. Inari cries in fear but can't
forgive himself for
being weak and not being able to protect his mother. He remembers what
Naruto
told him about being a sissy, and what Kakashi told him about Naruto
having a worst
life than himself, yet still being a strong person. He
admires all of the people in his life that have stood up for what they
believe in.  While the bodyguards
walk away with Tsunami, Inari stops them in
their tracks. He runs after them recklessly and is about to be cut to
pieces, but right then, Naruto uses substitution technique to replace
him with a log. Naruto came back
just in time, because that's what a hero does. Naruto thanks Inari for
his distraction, but he will take it from here. He throws shurikens at
the two, but they are not impressed, blocking them easily. However, the
two
shurikens were only distractions. Two of Naruto's clones
appear from behind and kick the
bodyguards in the heads, knocking them out. Inari asks Naruto how he knew to come back. Naruto replies that there were signs that Gatou's men were heading this way in the forest and decided to turn back. He apologizes to Inari for calling him a sissy yesterday. He tells Inari he is a very
