MenuCHAPTER 017 - Preparations for Battle 
Kakashi sensed something was wrong. Did he miss something? Naruto asked
what was wrong. Kakashi explained that Hunter-nins usually dispose of
the bodies right there where they killed them. So then, how did that
masked boy dispose of Zabuza's body, and why did he move it? Kakashi
explained that if he needed proof of his work, he could have just taken
the head, and the weapon he used. Sasuke immediately realized what
Kakashi was already thinking. Zabuza lives! Everybody is shocked. Naruto asked about Kakashi kneeling down to check if Zabuza was really dead. Kakashi explains it was most likely a momentary death. The needle  weapon used to pierce Zabuza's neck, has a
low probability of kill the opponent without hitting a vital organ.
Doctors even use it for acupunture therapy. Also, Hunter-nins know the
body very well, so this momentary death
was a simple task for that kid.
First he used a weapon with little probability to
kill, and second he
carried the body away, these to things indicate that he was really
trying to save Zabuza. Tazuna is skeptical of all this, and
comments
that Hunter-nins are suppose to kill Missing-nins like Zabuza. Kakashi declares that with this much suspicion, they must prepare before its too late. This is a shinobi rule. He explains that even if Zabuza is dead, there is no assurance that Gatou hasn't hired an even more powerful ninja. Kakashi notices that Naruto is actually excited that Zabuza might be alive. Sakura asks how Kakashi will prepare  when
he can barely move. He tells them that they will receive training.
Sakura doubts that a little training will help if he struggled even
with his sharingan. Kakashi tells her they are the reason he is still
alive, and that they are growing rapidly, especially Naruto. Sakura
acknowledges this too. Sakura asks if its safe to train since Zabuza is still out there and alive. Kakashi explains that after a momentary death situation a  person
is incapable of moving for quite some
time. So they will train until
then. A small little kid wearing a hat appears out of nowhere. He
admits their plans sound like no fun. Tazuna asks the newly revealed
Tanari where he has been. He calls Tazuna grandpa, and gives him a hug.
Inari's mother tells him to say hello to the leaf ninja, for they are
the ones who protected his grandfather. All he says is that they will die. This angers Naruto. Inari tells them there is no way they can win against Gatou. Naruto starts to get pissed off until Sakura refrains him. Naruto tries to reassure Inari that he has nothing to fear, because he is a superhero that will one day become hokage.  Inari dismisses this claim immediately.
Inari tells them to
leave, then goes to watch the ocean from his room. Naruto follows Inari to his room, but when he gets to the door, he hears crying from the inside. Inari is inside staring at a picture of some man with a rope tied around his head. Inari bursts into tears, calling this man his father. Naruto leaves from Inari's door.  In the forest Kakashi
tells the team they will now start the training.
But before that he wants to give them a little lesson on the shinobi
ability of chakra. Naruto asks what chakra is. He tells Kakashi he use
to sleep during any hard lesson in class. Kakashi admits this is bad.
He allows Sakura to give Naruto the lesson. She tells him chakra is the
energy needed when performing jutsu. There are two parts, the body
which is composed of the billions of cells in the body, and the
spiritual energy gained through training and experience. Jutsu is
possible by combining these two parts, and then bringing them out with
different hand seals.
