014 - Secret Plan
Naruto says he is ready to get wild. Zabuza acknowledges his
spirit, but asks if he is really ready. Kakashi tells Naruto to run,
the fight was over the moment he was caught in that trap. The real
mission is to protect Tazuna. Naruto asks for Tazuna's approval. Tazuna
claims he was the one who brought all this about, and will allow them
to fight as much as they want.
Sasuke seems amused
with this answer, and he and Naruto prepare for battle. Zabuza
continues to mock them, telling them that at their age,
he was already experienced in the art of killing. Kakashi calls Zabuza
by his nickname, "Devil Zabuza." Zabuza is surprised he has heard of
him. Kakashi begins to tell how long ago in the Village Hidden in the
Mist, also known as the Blood Mist Village, there was one final test
that one must complete to become a ninja. Zabuza is surprised that
Kakashi even knows about their graduation rituals. Naruto is interested
in hearing more.
 Zabuza adds that the
final test was a fight to the death between the students. He says
friends from the academy are pitted against one another until one of
them loses... with his life. Kakashi says that 10 years ago, this
ritual was forced to change. This change came a year after a so called "Devil"
appeared. This kid, this "Devil", who was not even a ninja, killed over
100 of the students without hesitation.
The clone appeared right in front of Sasuke, and
slammed him on the ground, stomping on his chest. Sakura screams out
his name, while Naruto begins to make Shadow Clones. They bombarded the
clone of Zabuza, but he easily disperses them. Naruto reaches into a
bag thinking this is the only way to defeat him. He throws a giant
shuriken at  Sasuke, and Sasuke quickly realizes what
the plan is. Sasuke holds it up shouting "Evil Wind Shuriken. Shadow
Windmill!"
Zabuza is not impressed. Sasuke heaves it past
the clone and strait for the real Zabuza. Zabuza tells him that its not
enough, and stops it in his hand, but much to his surprise, there was
another one right behind it in its shadow. Zabuza dodges it claiming
its still not enough. But Sasuke just smiles. The second shuriken
transforms into Naruto.
