MenuCHAPTER 012 - It's Over Zabuza recognizes Kakashi as "Sharingan Kakashi," and claims the old man will be his. After hearing Kakashi's  title, Naruto asks himself
what a "Sharingan" is. Sasuke too is alarmed by this, but appears to
know of it. Kakashi tells the team to protect Tazuna, and by no means
enter the fight. While lifting his forehead protector and revealing his left eye, Kakashi tells Zabuza to fight him. His eye has a pupil surrounded by three tomoes in a  circular pattern. Naruto is puzzled.
Zabuza says he
is honored to already get to see the famous sharingan. Once again,
Naruto wants to know what that is. Sasuke explains that some people
have the ability in their eye to read and defeat all types of Genjutsu
and Ninjutsu. The sharingan is one of those type of eyes capable of
this. He continues that there is more to it. Zabuza adds in that the
scariest part is that the sharingan can copy an opponents techniques
once it sees them. Zabuza explains that when he was a member of the Hidden Mist Village's assassin team, he kept a handbook with information on Kakashi. It said Kakashi knew over  1,000 jutsu, they called him the Copy Ninja
Kakashi.
Sakura noticed that this was the second ninja who knew over 1,000
jutsu, along with the Hokage himself. Sasuke thinks to himself that the Sharingan is a special physical condition that only appears in a select few members of the Uchiha clan. He wonders if Kakashi is an Uchiha after all. All of a sudden Zabuza says he wants to start fighting, so he can kill the old man. The team moves into formation around Tazuna. Zabuza tells  Kakashi he beat him
first, then jumps off from the tree he is standing on. He appears above
them, surrounded by water. Kakashi notes he is releasing a high amount
of chakra. Zabuza releases "Hidden Mist no jutsu," right before disappearing. Kakashi thinks he will come after him first, since he is an expert killer. He tells the team he can't use the sharingan perfectly, and to be careful. The mist gets thicker, and they hear Zabuza contemplating how to kill them. Sasuke begins to strain under the concentration of 
Zabuza's amazing ki. Kakashi tells him not to worry, he will protect
them, he doesn't let his comrades die.
Kakashi appeared behind him, with a kunai to his neck. Zabuza however is not scared at all, telling him theres no way for him to win with his "monkey-like" imitations. Summary provided by ssi sasuke |
