Reflections Kakashi's team is trapped inside Guren's crystal technique and Hinata is taken hostage. Naruto's team arrives to assist but must first breakdown the crystal barrier. |

Episode 98: The Target Appears Haven rescued Hinata, the team again begins pursuing Guren and her men. But Guren has already arrived at the destination and is joined by Kabuto. Together they bring Yukimaru out on the lake again to attempt to lure out the Three-Tails beast demon. |

Episode 99: Rampaging Tailed Beast Yukimaru's powers have awoken the Sanbi (Three-Tails) tailed beast, but is unable to control it. The Sanbi goes on a rampage, even Guren is powerless to stop it. |

Episode 100: Inside the Mist The Sanbi releases a deep mist which covers the lake and surrounding areas. Tsunade learns of the Sanbi's appearance and sends a new team led by Shizune to try to seal it. |

Episode 101-102: One Hour Special The reinforcements from Konoha have arrived. A new battle plan is formed while Guren and her men prepare to go after the Sanbi again. |

105: Battle Over the Barrier Guren heads back to the lake with Yukimaru and Kabuto to stop the sealing. With Rinji's help, she manages to disrupt the jutsu, and the beast begins attacking everyone. |

106: Red Camellia Yukimaru uses his power to restrain the Three-Tails, but he runs out of chakra. Naruto goes out to find Yukimaru, but ends up fighting the Three-Tails with Guren. The beast overpowers them, and then proceeds to swallow them. |

107: Strange Bedfellows Naruto and Guren soon encounter a horde of small beasts inside the Three Tails. Naruto summons numerous Shadow Clones to look for a way out of the beast's stomach. Elsewhere, Kabuto gives Curse Marks to Rinji's men, ordering them to capture Yukimaru. |
