Naruto goes out alone to find
Yukimaru, but encounters Guren and begins to fight her. To
Naruto’s surprise, Yukimaru tells him he doesn’t
want to leave Guren’s side. When Kakashi and Yamato
come to back up Naruto, Guren flees with Yukimaru.
Yukimaru once again collapses from his
fever. Kabuto treats him and allows him to rest, but insists
that he’ll be used again to try to control the Sanbi the next
day. Guren resents Kabuto’s decision because she
does not want to see Yukimaru suffer anymore. She organizes
her men to take on the Konoha ninja in the morning
The reinforcements led by Shizune arrive from
Konoha. She is to carry out Tsunade’s plan, which
is to seal the Sanbi and protect the boy who they believe to be able to
control the Bijuu. The Konoha ninja are divided into teams:
Shizune, Ino, Sakura and Hinata will be in charge of sealing the Bijuu;
Kakashi, Naruto, Sai and Shino will take on Guren; Yamato, Tenten, Kiba
and Lee will protect the sealing team from Guren’s
men. The mist clears up in the morning and everyone gets
ready for action.
