Kabuto takes Yukimaru to a lake and has him eat
special medicine to bring out his true powers. Yukimaru's body releases
high levels of chakra and catches the attention of a creature in the
lake, but not enough for it to fully reveal itself.
Meanwhile Guren visits Orochimaru and finds him testing out Sasuke's
abilities by having him fight a thousand mercenaries. Guren sees Sasuke
as a rival because she was supposed to be a candidate for Orochimaru's
next host before Sasuke came along. As Guren watches, Sasuke defeats
all of the enemies without killing a single person. Orochimaru tells
Guren he has a special mission for her and if she completes it
successfully, he might reconsider her as his next host.
Naruto and Gamariki just can't get along in their training, so Naruto
tries summoning some other toads instead: Gamakichi and Gamatatsu.
Naruto thought it be easier to try to get in sync with toads he already
knew, but Gamakichi tells him that he must be able to know what his
partner is thinking in order to truly synchronize with him and pull off
combo jutsus.
